I have never actually been inside the place — my wife usually picks up the gyros and man what delicious gyros! The beef is so lovely and tender it just melts in your mouth. They do have very odd hours but worth it!

The gyros are excellent! The tzatziki was good too plus it’s super affordable!

Excellent food! We just stumbled upon this place and it was a pleasant surprise. We are vegetarian and they had lots of choices for us too. The Spanakopita sandwich, and roasted veggie sandwich were awesome. And we also had their greek salad, which was also great. Highly recommended!

Maybe it’s just because I was starving but this is the best Gyro! It was loaded with their lamb/beef mix which was moist and full of flavor. The homemade Tzatziki sauce was awesome too, not watery or runny, it was thick and tasty. Fresh tomatoes and crisp lettuce made this my one stop for Greek food. Also had a home made chocolate chip cookie, pretty darn good. Prices are spot on for the type of food. Kinda hidden so keep a close eye open for this yummy spot!

Very poor service from this place. The woman behind he counter was rude and waited 10 minutes to make my coffee.(I was one of just two waiting customers in the whole place). To top it all off I hear«number 23!!» Yelled for me to go get it rather than her bring it to me. Wow My advice to the old geek lady… Customer service is key. I will not be coming back.

This place is in a strip mall. Walk in, order at the counter, pay and wait for your food. When I walked in, no one was at the register but they came out quickly. Ordered the gyro and it looked really good. Tasted good too. Fluffy pita with gyro meat, tzatziki, lettuce, and tomato. Just enough food for lunch. Make it a combo if you’re hungrier. They have regular sandwiches and soups too. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but it’s there if you’re nearby craving a gyro.

They only do one thing right in this place and its the Roasted Vegetable Sandwich. You have to ask them for it at the counter, it may not be on the printed menu because it is out of date. Its the best vegetable sandwich I have ever eaten bar none! It contains roasted bell pepper, eggplant, onion, with cheese & lettuce and in a toasted ciabatta bun. I introduced a lot of meat lovers to this and they all loved it! The soup of the day keeps changing, on wednesday they have lentil soup which really hits the spot and on Monday they have vegetable minestrone which is delicious. Avoid the falafel sandwich and chicken gyro. they are bland, at least for my spice craving palate.

My work is located down the street from this place and I’m just so disappointed with the greek options here. The gyro is fine – but I’ve had better. I don’t like the way the sides taste at all. I tried the pasta salad and it had so many sprigs of something in there – not even sure what herb it was but it was overly vinegary and that herb was just way over powering – I had to stop eating it altogether. I also tried the spanikopita and it was similar to a stuffed pizza/calzone – which is not at all what I expect a spanikopita to be. I want them to be flaky and buttery but this one was not like that at all. I don’t like writing bad reviews, but as a greek food lover, I was really disappointed with this food. I haven’t tried the other deli items, but I wasn’t going there for regular sandwiches.

I’ve been looking for a good Gyro place in the bay area for quite some time. Well this is the place. I also tried both types of baklava they have up at the counter and they were decent.

Slow service. Gyro was dry, tasteless and forgettable. The only thing i did like was the greek salad. Besides those two items, i didnt see much greek food here.

Wow! They really stuff their gyros with a lot of meat! I stopped by after a beer run at 7 – 11 and ordered the #9 combo. It comes with a gyro and your choice of a house/potato/mac salad or fries. I chose the house salad. They sure don’t hold back with the meat. It was flavorful and tender. Yum! I loved the sauce that came along with it, too. I thought the pita bread was a little too chewy so I ended up eating just the insides. There was so much that there was no way I could finish the whole thing. The house salad was alright. I think I’ll pick fries if I come back. Service was… lacking. When I came in, there was a lady sitting down watching TV. I smiled not knowing if she worked there or not. After about a minute of browsing she told me to let me know when I was ready but she never took her eyes off the TV so I wasn’t sure if she was talking to me haha. She seemed really annoyed that I was interrupting her time to watch People’s Court. I never got one smile out of her.

As far as Gyros go they were great! Fresh Pita, Great meat and very good cucumber sauce(Tzatziki) plus a fresh Greek salad on the side for a reasonable price. Don’t forget to ask for feta on the Gyro and Salad. Friendly Owners run the place. We also picked up so Gyro meat for later in the week. PS: they have all kinds of food sandwiches, salads, spaghetti and much more. Enjoy

Who orders a steak sandwich at a Greek restaurant? The Gyros here are among the best I have ever had. Warm, thick, chewy pita; fresh vegetables; perfect Sauce(what is that stuff, anyway?); quality meat. Yes the house salad is expensive but it it also HUGE. So get the small version with the combo meal instead.

Oh my goodness! What a find! My boyfriend and I decided to try this place out and fell in love with the gyros here! It’s kind of a hole-in-wall place, but everyone knows hole-in-the wall restaurants most of the time offers the best tasting foods. The portions are also pretty big. I can normally eat a lot for a girl, and the gryo filled me up!

food is good– nothing to write home about. had the gyro and salad — #9 place is clean just a regular lunch spot, $ 10 for lunch quick and easy. better than the wrap I had last week on castro st, which was mostly cucumbers and hardly any lamb

I use to work around the area, and this would be the spot to go to during my lunch breaks! Its ALWAYS hella packed during lunch time because of all the other businesses around the area so the best thing to do is call over the phone and make your order ahead of time. 1. THEBAKEDPOTATOESARETODIEFOR. they are loaded and soooooooooooooo good! 2. THEGYROSAREDELISH. its been a while since ive found aplace that served gyros to begin with so seeing it on the menu here was a shocker. a must go to!

Serving the healthy needs of the multiple surrounding businesses, this café is all about serving fresh food in a timely manner. I can appreciate that. What I don’t appreciate is paying 6.50 for a salad(yikes) Most menu items don’t fall below 4.50, and while the portions aren’t small, they’re not big either. Ill come back to try a gyro
