my friend and I were the only 2 people at this store at 130pm on a sunday. they took forever to make our ice cream crêpe. when I went around the area where they made the crêpe my crêpe was sitting on the fryer and the chicken making it was in the other end texting. so when I finally got my crêpe it was dried and hard. every time I come in its prepared differently which is annoying. this time the ice cream was outside the crêpe and only a few fruits and Hella whip cream was placed inside. I only ate the ice cream and threw the rest away. what a waste of money. just walk a few doors down the the snow crave place is what I suggest.

Not a big fan of Q-cup, but ended up here yesterday. Got the toffee with creama, which was pretty good. It’s not a bad place, just prefer Sharetea since their flavors are more compatible to my taste buds

I don’t get the average ratings for the place. I have better service here than at Tapioca Express located across the street. I had excellent service here. I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Pearls and O-Cup Chicken. Both were excellent. This is one of the boba places in Milpitas that I will return to in the future.

jasmine milk tea — nothing special. better quality milk tea elsewhere, but we had lunch in the same center and were looking for a drink afterwards. too bad honeyberry is closed. i think even honeyberry was better. the ambiance looks kinda glum.

Ambiance: I came here on a Wednesday afternoon and I was the only one there. There are many tables and a couch to sit on. Walking in the place it smelled like popcorn chicken(you’ll smell like that when you walk out too lol). Top 40 music was being played and a movie was playing on the TV as well. I love the fact that they had free fast WiFi(password is on your receipt). Service: The male barista made the drink really fast! He was also really nice and made sure to strike up a conversation. Drink: I got a hot taro milk tea, it wasn’t great because it was made with powder but it was cheap, about $ 3.25 with boba added. Food: I order popcorn chicken($ 5 something) and it tasted good. Hot and crispy because they make it as you order.(I noticed this was a popular item because almost everyone that came after me order it too) Overall: I would come again but I would order teas instead :)

Came with my friends at about 9PM. It wasn’t busy at all. Ordered the strawberry and banana crêpe. We all sat down at a table and the table was very sticky. It was kind of gross, but we could not wipe down the table, because the napkins just stuck to the table. As for the crêpe, it was okay and very large. It came with ice cream in it along with the bananas and strawberries and chocolate syrup on top. The strawberries were frozen, which I did not like.

I like this place for nostaglic reasons, but there are WAY better options for tea in the South Bay nowadays. Not a bad place if you’re a teen who wants to loiter and play card games or something though. I’d recommend going to Ten Ren across the street, instead.

Typical no frills old school(not modernized) boba shop They have a lot of drinks but to help you make your decision there’s a display list of the most popular drinks —Almond milk tea: good flavor but I had to ask them to re-mix my drink because it had chunks of almond powder clumped at the bottom Q-cup also sells food here if you need some grub with your drink NOTE: CASHONLY

Great place to go to on a late night. Got their Mango Special, which was great given the affordable price. Staff was friendly. Would definitely go again.

This place has some pretty bad reviews, BUT. It serves as a pretty decent study/work spot: –Trendy late night coffee shops do not exist in Milpitas, my only options after 8pm are boba places –This place does not smell like food/grease like tapX or some of the other boba places in the area –free wifi(no outlets though!) –generally quiet on weeknights(i’ve been here twice so far and there has been plenty of open tables) and so I will keep coming back. The popcorn chicken is kinda bland and the pearls can taste a little old but the viet coffee and canteloupe milk tea were pretty good. I’m going to avoid the tapioca pearls and just get the other add-ons

I can see why this place gets the ratings it does. Lemon kumquat juice($ 2.95) — just OK. Wouldn’t get it again. T4 makes it better. Taro Milk Tea($ 2.95) — Subpar, there’s better out there. Popcorn chicken(~$ 6.08 including tax) — it was good, but not $ 6 good. Quickly’s does it better for cheaper. Customer service was good. The girl was extremely patient. I was tired and totally handed her a credit card even though this place is CASHONLY. Summary: Considering the boba competition out there is on point, places like this are lacking in customer service and customization. You cannot select your sweetness level and excluding ice means your drink is only moderately cold unless premade. Step up your game, Q-Cup.

If I could give zero stars to this place i would but the one star is for the drinks. Customer Service: HORRIBLE! The girl that was working the time I came in was probably giving a free drink to her friend then she took my order. She has tattoos on her shoulders and a bird or something on her back. Worst person to have this type of job. I always go to boba places and I’m pretty sure I remember what i ordered 10 seconds prior. basically she heard me incorrectly and and i corrected her while she was making her drink and then she was trying to tell me what i ordered and being so rude about it. FYI: theres a reason why customer service is titled«customer service.» What she should’ve said is «oh I’m sorry about that, let me make you another one.» Don’t dog me and give attitude! She should be fired. Bad move bro.

If you’re looking for good crêpe, don’t come here. I ordered their full house crêpe and it was a big mistake. The crêpe was still raw, and it was really thick batter. It was too chewy to eat. The fruits inside the crêpe was rotten too. And it cost about $ 8, that was a waste of money! This was such a disappointment.

I was alright… not A-OK but«just OK». Went to check it out with my daughter after we ordered some dimsum on the store nearby. This was sometime ago so this review is a late post(apologies!). Still, I think the memory of our experience is credible enough to write about it… moving on… The kiddo got herself a taro shake with boba. Luckily the pearls was freshly made and it wasn’t too sweet. I got a pomegranate infused tea with basil seeds. It was alright tho the hubs didn’t like it when he took a sip… meeh! — beats me why he has to grab someone else’s drink in the first place(LOL) Convenient place to go when getting some dimsum. Its about 5 minutes from work. Might try some of their snacks the next time me and my daughter have our fundates. A shaky 2.5 …for now.

I love the crepes and popcorn chicken here! The popcorn chicken has extra flavor on it from the basil leaves, so it doesn’t taste like the typical popcorn chicken. The crepes are also super bomb and big enough to share! The value is pretty good. Abiet, the chicken serving size is definitely a lot smaller than it used to be, but still. The milk tea, though, is what’s lacking. They are ridiculously overpriced and have way too much syrup. The boba, on multiple occasions, was SUPER old. They were practically disintegrating in the straw itself! They replace the milk tea if you’re not happy, but honestly nothing else is any better. I only really go here for milk tea when everything else is closed. Decent snack place, terrible milk tea place.

Q-cup is similar to Quickly & Tapioca Express, menu wise. noticed syrups in plastic bottles(for boba drinks). teas. boba drinks(2.95). lots of seating here. brew: Café Americano(1.5) –freshly brewed, initial harshness, brew mellowed out smoothly later. 3.5 stars, slightly above average brew. drips: –place empty save for an non asian family dining. –service very good.

This place used to be pretty good with good drinks, good food, and fun staff. I have no idea what happened? I used to come here all the time before 2012 and now, I come once in a while hoping that maybe it will be better this time. But unfortunately, it’s not. Although they do have a lot of choices for their food and drinks. It just doesn’t taste good. Their milk teas such as the strawberry milk tea, rose milk tea, etc. tend to lack a great amount of flavor and doesn’t taste good at all. Their fried foods aren’t that great anymore. I feel as though the fried food sometimes contain a lot of batter than it should. The staff aren’t as friendly or helpful either. I always feel as if they get annoyed if you have questions or don’t know exactly what you want and need a few seconds. They try really hard not to show it though. However, the only good thing that remained the same at Q-Cup are their crepes. I have to admit that they make some pretty tasting crepes and it’s about the only thing that I come back to this place for. I recommend their full house crêpe and grilled chicken crepes are my favorite and pretty much the only thing I get here. If anyone including myself were to get drinks, I’d just stick with the icy and stay away from the milk teas.

I’ve been here a few times because of convenience. I’ve tried the jasmine milk tea and the black milk tea with pearls. The drinks are very sweet and have an odd thickness to them. It tasted more like overly sweetened whole milk(kind of like the texture & flavor of melted ice cream) than it did a tea. I know a lot of people that actually prefer that, but I like milk teas with a strong tea flavor and more authentic tea taste. And this wasn’t it for me. The boba itself was good… I’m not too picky about that. If you’re looking for something with a strong tea flavor and not too sweet, go across the street to Ten Ren or even TapEx. If you want something that is sweeter(and cheaper!) then Q-Cup might be the place for you.

Came here a few years ago with a girl friend for a quick catch up lunch date. We each ordered a tapioca drink and popcorn chicken(which was MEHHH, and would rather get at Sno-Crave or Tapioca Express((Fremont off Auto Mall)) instead). .. My friend needed to add extra spicy seasoning to her chicken so she walked over to the condiments table and saw the seasoning can. She then took the can from the condiments table and started walking towards our table(near the entrance) when all of a sudden, *wham* seasoning flies everywhere as she suddenly gets pulled back to the condiments table. Apparently, there was a thin string tied from the handle of the can to the post behind the condiments table. Seriously??? Who would dare to steal the spice seasoning? =_=

Surprisingly, the best popcorn chicken I’ve had in a long time. For $ 5, you’re given a gigantic container of plump, seasoned, barely-fried chicken chunks. Each piece was a delight to eat. The softness of the meat and the seasoning flavors dominated the meal as it’s supposed to. There aren’t many sauces to dip this in but fortunately a little bit of ketchup is all that is necessary to enjoy this thirty-second pre-made lunch. Don’t get the calamari unless you want fried chips. It’s that bad. The fried tofu is uneven. Some of the fried tofu are empty shells of breading while others have substance. It’s an unpleasant surprise when everything looks so promising. The atmosphere is family friendly. It’s also really stuffy in here despite them turning on their air system.
