This is definitely one of the very best Red Brick locations I have tried. My *only* complaint is that many of the remaining Red Brick stores are closing, and they could give you more than one napkin when ordering pizza, or appetizers. In all, this place rocks!

Pepperoni pizza — 3 Stars. Pizza was ok with good tasting pepperoni. The bread had good taste but the sauce and cheese were blah. The place is great for a work lunch, but I wouldn’t come again just for the pizza.

First Impression: I came to this place because the one i usually go to is on N. 1st Street that actually closed. This place is spacer than other Red Bricks. Having a TV at your table is a time killer but not sure if it’s a good or bad thing because it makes you eat more when your into a show. I love thin crust so this place perfects my needs. Though their pizzas are thin crust I feel they have lots of flavor and very light. How they have an open fire pit is for sure old school and you don’t see many places having these. They have lots of flavors that I haven’t tired yet and looking forward to trying them all. Last Impression: Knowing that Red Brick seems to disappear from other locations, I’m hoping this one will stay alive and make business. Check out my photos I posted!

Get the CHOPPEDCHINESECHICKENSALAD… The service here is good, I have no complaints, but I am serious… get the CHOPPEDCHICKENSALAD. And if you work at one of the local retail stores there they will give you a discount, you just have to ask.

I’ve been here on a few different occasions for lunch(my office is right down the road). The chicken ceaser salad is a pretty good deal for $ 6 or so. It’s quite a large salad, a perfect amount for lunch. It’s hard to mess up a salad, so I’m going to go ahead and say the salad was tasty, as it should be. I ordered a small margherita pizza and small drink today– $ 8. Meh. Should have got the salad again. The pizza was really tasty, but for a margherita pizza I expected more sliced tomatoes. The small pizza was sliced into 4 sections with one tiny slice of tomato on each section. I LOVE tomato. Maybe next time I’ll ask for extra tomato(and it better cost me nothing extra). Their gelato is all covered up so you can’t see it. There’s a sign that says they have gelato and to ask about what flavors they are offering that day. Wonder why they don’t show uncover it so people can see. The sound of gelato sounded good, but people aren’t prone to buy it if they can’t get the picture in their head first. This place may get more business if they uncover their product for customers to see. Maybe it’s crappy looking. Who knows? They offer a mini gelato cone for $ 0.75. An almost guilt-free after lunch treat. Maybe I’ll try their mystery gelato next time. I’ll come back for the salads, for sure.

I come here often because there’s a lot of coupons in the Entertainment Book for a BUYONE, GETONEFREE entrée. So that’s a pretty good deal. If I didn’t have those coupons I wouldn’t eat here because I honestly don’t think it’s worth the money. I usually get the sandwiches, which are okay. I think they’re about $ 7. I would recommend the Italian Sandwich, and for pizza I would recommend Meat Lovers, because that seems to be the only pizza worth the money. Everything else was pretty skimpy. There are televisions at the tables but most of them don’t work! We usually end up cleaning a dirty table ourselves to sit at a table with a working tv. So service was Bleh. They should be more on top of things. It’s usually the same person behind the register. So overall, once all my Entertainment coupons are gone. I will no longer eat at this place because its definitely NOTWORTH paying full price for. Just sayin.

Tried their combo, and it’s good. The pizza was fresh hot off the oven. — Gourmet pizza with Meat was better — Pepperoni was only ok; the topping was on the skinny side

Im a sucker for prosciutto, and when you put that on a pizza, its like heaven! They also have sandwiches and such here too. Other than prosciutto this is just another pizza joint IMO. But because of the expensive italian meat that is almost impossible to find around here, I gave it an extra star. Oh ya, they got personal TVs at each table there. They got beer and wine, but this place still looks fast foodish, so nothing new here. Prosciutto FTW baby!

Not impressed. The website and overall look of the restaurants suggests something on the order of maybe California Pizza Kitchen or Pizza My Heart(both of which are stellar compared to this place). But outward appearances and even the nice aroma are deceiving since the pizza served here falls flat once you bite into it. There are always two elements with pizza that should stand out: 1. The sauce and 2. The dough. I don’t care what you top it with; if you don’t have good tasting sauce and dough, then your pie has already failed. My RedBrick Gourmet Works(looked and smelled like a King Arthur Supreme knock-off) had neither of those stand-out elements. Both lacked really any flavor at all. The sauce had no tang, no spice, no zip, no nothing. The dough was terrible. Chewy. Inedible. Flavorless. Something I ALWAYS eat; I found myself tossing aside. So even though the toppings were fair, albeit a little two-dimensional, and tasted good on their own, there was no «signature» sauce to tie it all together. Like some other folks here have commented, there are frozen pizzas that taste better than this stuff.

The restaurant itself could use a little pick me up/makeover. Not all the tvs work and it seems a bit grungy in there. We got a Medium pizza. We did half veggie works and half bbq chicken. the pizza was all right, but the SERVICE was HORRIBLE. First off, we weren’t greeted by the worker. She had such a horrible attitude and it was so obvious she did not want to be there. Her name is Isabel-and YES I PUTHERONBLAST. Isabel did not smile once while we were there; the whole time it sounded like she was either mumbling or speaking too fast. I could barely hear or understand her. After our pizza was done, she sat with her coworker and took a break. A few minutes later, a customer walked in. She made a really mean face and rolled her eyes. She did the same thing when another customer walked in. Dear Isabel, Yes, I know it sucks to work on Thanksgiving weekend, and not take a full 15 min break because a customer walks in. But keep in mind that it’s those customers that are the reason you even have a job!!! So at least look like you’re happy to be alive or something or else customers won’t want to see your crabby looking face anymore. Next thing you know, word gets around how awful the service is and you’ll be out of a job. Word of advice, smile and ENUNCIATE!

Found a coupon from the entrainment book, buy one get one free, so I round up a couple coworkers and drove over. We ordered up 2 medium pies, a garlic chicken and a hawaii, and some sodas, but the lady behind the counter told me she would only give me a discount off a small pie, I’m like huh? I ordered two mediums, she repeated it again with conviction, it has to be lesser value she said. Okay fine, I guess you can interpret whatever you want it to be, I wasn’t going to haggle over 5 bucks, but they definitely lost me as a returning customer. The pies were good, but the medium were more like a small at any other places, and they charge you $ 12. Sorry Red Brick, just lining your oven with bricks does not make you a real brick oven, so maybe you charge extra the service, oh wait, you order at the counter and fill your own drinks, maybe there’s a fee for the individual TV at each booth? Well, my booth only had the bracket and a cable sticking out, no TV. I was going to give you 3 stars, but I don’t like getting ripped off, you get ding for a star.

First off, I’m a BIG fan of thin crust pizza. And the fact that it is fire roasted from their 1000 degree redbrick oven and cooked in 3 minutes makes it seem pretty awesome too! Pizza was served hot and my hawaiian toppings included mozzarella cheese, canadian-style bacon, pineapple chunks, cashews, and marinara sauce. Marinara sauce could’ve been better flavored and I could’ve done without those cashew bits. Made it taste kinda odd so I had to pick them out. Crust was nice and thin, and very crispy so that was a plus! Pizza, overall, was pretty descent. But I had better tasting pizza at many other places. What I really liked was their Fire Roast Toast Thin and Crisp though. Not the typical looking bread sticks you’d get at the average pizza joint. Instead, they were unique in taste as they contained savory italian herb spices and came out as super thin and crispy slices of galic-y flavored bread. YUM! Dip the bread sticks in their chipotle sauce and that will definitely seal the deal!

I’d been to the one in San Mateo years ago. Co-workers wanted something fast and lighter. I knew the crust was thin here but it was thinner than I had thought. We ended up under ordering. The BBQ Chicken I thought was solid but the Red Brick gourmet was just ok. I liked the fact that I could watch BBC television while I was eating my pizza.

Yes, another pizza place that I am reviewing. What can I say? I have a lot of experience with pizza. And I am a HUGE pizza fan so I’m quite picky about what I like and don’t like. So, let’s start off bye saying that Thin Crust is not my style unless it’s in New York City. I had a problem with RedBrick right away when I saw that everyone of their pizzas were thin. BLEH… So I always went to Milpitas and passed by this place whenever I went to Jamba Juice or Starbucks. For once I wanted to try it. So I did. Boy was it a waste of my time. I already knew my favorite pizza places, but I guess I wanted to see if I could have another favorite on my list. Didn’t turn out so well. I walked in and noticed that the place was very plain. Nothing fun and interesting about it. It was just… meh. Whatever. So I look up at the menu and notice their prices were about the same as Pizza California in San Jose. I was thinking… okay well that’s fine I mean I’m sure it’s just as good. I was very wrong. We ended up ordering the roasted garlic chicken and was very disappointed. The crust was thin and was unable to hold everything that was topped on it. It eventually turned mushy. The pizza just didn’t have a crunchy feel to it like it should have. It was very unhappy with the pizza I got with the money I paid for it. Plus their drinks are all bottled so it was way overpriced to get a drink at all. Ended up buying Starbucks next door and brought it inside RedBrick. The place is horrible. Just overpriced for what you get. The pizza was a disaster but it tasted fine. I wouldn’t come back, nor so I recommend anyone to try this place. If you’re looking for thin crust just go to Pizza Cali and order thin crust, or better yet a Slice of New York is the best thin crust New York Style pizza you can get on the West coast.

So first off, I’m not a huge fan of thin crust pizza. So, when I heard that there was a new pizza place in town(maybe 3 years ago) I was a little bummed that it was a thin crust place… Well, who would’ve thunk, I(the lover of the deep dish) would appreciate this place! First of all, the service: its generally pretty awesome. Yes, its(technically) a fast food joint… so I give them lots of credit here… They actually seem to like their jobs… they smile… they snap to attention when a customer comes in… good all around! Food: now, this is where they lose one star. The pizza is wonderful and so are the salads(but bear in mind, I’m pretty easy to please in these categories… my fave pizza is hawaiian or plain cheese and my fave salad is cesar or garden) but how dare you screw up gelato?!? OMG… I am a total dessert queen(and gelato is one of my faves) so when I found out that this place had that frozen creamy goodness, well, I was definitely psyched. I ordered one today and could only think of one word to describe it: ICY… now if you know gelato at all, it should NEVER be ICY! :(x a million… I was totally depressed. What else is there to talk about… oh they have a wonderful selection of beers and wines(for a fast food place, mind you!) and they’ve got tvs at each table with direct tv, so you totally forget that you just waited 30 minutes for a «fast» pizza: P Even docking one star for their«gelato»(seriously, it doesn’t even deserve to be called that), I still have to say that its pretty satisfying… so «Yay! I’m a fan.» :)

Really tasty pizza at a decent price. The toppings aren’t the greatest and the cheese is kind of greasy, but the crust is stellar. The flat bread sandwiches are tasty too. Oh yeah, their Shrimp Caesar salad is a wonderful side. The lady behind the counter gave me a free soda today. It was my first time there. If she does this again, I am bumping the score up to 4-stars!

We have a friend who lives in Castro Valley, who we meet up with once in a while, either in Milpitas or Newark, since it’s «middle». Last night we needed to meet up, and I had my entertainment book on me, so I chose RedBrick Pizza, since I had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon. The coupon was good for up to $ 8 off, with buy 1 pizza, get 1 free. We ordered a small meat lover’s pizza on chipotle crust and another small Hawaiian on thin crispy rustic crust, along with a large shrimp ceasar salad. With the coupon, the meal came out to $ 19. You order at the counter and the food is brought to you. The guy at the counter wasn’t very friendly or nice, and I couldn’t crack a smile out of him. :(They also had a huge gelato selection, which looked good(when doesn’t gelato look good), but I didn’t get a chance to try it. The big highlight of the place was each booth had a flat screen monitor with direct TV hooked up and remote controls at each table to change the channels. The crappy thing was, the direct TV was linked to the table next to us, so every time the guy behind us would change channels, it would change our TV as well.(umm, hello?! I’m trying to see what’s going on with Chris Brown and Rhianna!) The salad came out faster than we could get settled, and the pizza came out a few minutes later. The small on chipotle was SMALL. It was more like a personal pizza size. The small on the rustic crispy bread was rolled out more thin, so it looked bigger. There was nothing hugely special about the pizza. The normal crust one was really greasy, and the crust wasn’t crispy. The rustic Hawaiian had cashew nuts on it. I get that they’re trying to be different, but it just didn’t match in flavor… maybe macadamian nuts instead? The crust was crispy and thin on the rustic, so that was a plus, but the cheese was rubbery instead of cheesy. If we had to pay $ 29, it would have been overpriced for what we got. If we had a coupon, and we were in the area, it would be an OK place to stop. But aside from that, I wouldn’t go here again, and wouldn’t recommend it to my friends.

Went there for a quick lunch today. Quick lunch it was not! Well, OK — the«eating lunch» part was quick — 9 minutes, since we were running late for a meeting. And we got to this point because it took us 25 minutes to get two small pepperoni pizzas!!! Fail. Food was good — pizza was greasy but with a nice crust — reminded me a little of pizza back in Brooklyn, not quite but in the neighborhood!!! A little skimpy on the pepperoni — ahhh, signs of the failing the economy? Service was meh — waitress asked if we wanted napkins! Ummmm, yeahhhh!!! But maybe we were supposed to get our own and she was just being nice to my entitled a$$ so no dings for this :) TV’s on the tables in booths! YAY — good touch but our TV could only tune in some lame soap — fail!!! I’m going to give it another try — pizza was good — and good pizza is always good for a return trip. And I could walk to this place and back — enjoy the weather — work off those carbs — and text message my friends back in NY and Pittsburgh about how I was walking around in the awesome CA sunshine while they froze their derrieres!!! YES!!! #32

Watch TV While You Eat a Pizza Sandwich Two large televisions hang from the ceiling so while you wait you can watch the latest news and stock reports, on the day I went there was an emergency plane evacuation which was exciting. Several of the side booths have their own mini TV’s and remotes for personal choice viewing, yay! The small Cheese Pizza was good, thin crust, thin layer of sauce and a good amount of cheese. The pizza oven baked Fhazani Club sandwich was also good, with tasty bacon(I heart bacon) and a crust very similar to the thin pizza dough crust so I’m calling it a pizza sandwich.

Really good margherita pizza — not quite comparable to what I had in Italy, but a mini-size was quite satisfying. They have small flat panel TV’s at every booth(including two big-ass flat panels at each corner of the restaurant), a vibrant drink selection(including bottled mojitos) and even a selection of gelato that I didn’t get to try. The place also has secured Wi-Fi, but be warned, the girl behind the counter didn’t know the password, which makes the whole concept kind of useless. If you have a T-Mobile net account, you can access it from here.
