The pizza is just what the name implies, a New York style pizza. We ordered delivery to our downtown hotel, and just as promised the driver arrived in 30 minutes. ½ cheese and half New York meat special was or order with a side of garlic cheese bread. The bread is delicious, order more than a single order for more than two people. The pizza was good, light on sauce, and the meat half was somewhat spicy, but overall a good pizza at a reasonable price.

Love this place. Im here for the first time. Most definitely will not be my last. The only thing I could complain about is the fact the have one employee running the phone oven and counter. The other guy takes deliveries but takes orders when he gets back. But if I was in their shoes. Id be pretty upset being so short staffed when it’s this busy…

This is a pretty legit NYC style pizza by the slice joint, something I wish we had a little more of around here. Huge, thin crust slices with a wide variety of toppings available. If you want something they don’t have out, just ask and they’ll make you a slice. Good crust, good sauce, good cheese, good good good. Open late, friendly staff. Try a slice of buffalo chicken.

I have to say I love this food, great Stromboli. I tried to order for delivery via bite squad tonight and it was out the delivery parameters. Bummer! So I called directly, I was outside of the three mile radius, 3.2. So no pizza for me. Thanks for the awesome service. Too bad.

Good gyro and Italian dressing salad, but they were out of fries at 10pm. That’s okay, not complaining but fries are definitely recommended over chips, glad they had an alternative though. This place does remind me of a common pizza joint in NYC, which I actually love. They have a huge tv on the wall which can be distracting so maybe not a sit down date type of place unless you want to be distracted, but it is perfect for quick sit down or takeout. Really enjoyed the experience here!

WOW! I’ve worked right by this place for a couple months now, and finally decided to check it out. I had some variety of a white pizza with tomato and spinach, and it was amazing. A big slice for just over $ 4 with tax. Best pizza I’ve had in Minneapolis!

I’m a «foodie». My Dad is a retired Master Chef and Culinary Institute of America grad. My daughter is a Chef and Culinary Institute of America grad. I’ve been around the«best of the best» my whole life. In the Twin Cities, there isn’t a close second when it comes to NYC pizza. Born in New York, Im a fan of Andrew Zimmern and I tried every pizza recommendation in local magazines, but he has missed the mark. For authentic NYC pizza, this is the place!

$ 26.40 for an ex-large pizza and 2 cans of Coke delivered on a Saturday night at 6pm in 45 minutes is the good part, the pizza is bland. In house by the slice is the way to go here! Minnesotianized New York Pizza, not a good combo.

I tried the Stromboli! and feta pizza. Wow. Good service and price too. Open to 3 am. When you want really good food, go here. The name is perfect and fitting since its spot on New York style. I wish they could put some artichoke on a pizza but I cannot complain the quality is high and everyone smiles when serving.

Perfect late night pizza choice! My favorite is a classic slice of cheese. Don’t let the small corner store fool you, it’s got big flavors and friendly staff!

Delicious. Reasonable. Fast. Nice folks. Good selection. You can see what you are ordering or you can have custom made. Wish they had fountain soda but not a big deal. Yummy and worth the stop.

Best NY style pizza for my wife and I since we left NYC… and mind you, we grew up in Queens and she worked in a pizzaria. Worth our 30 minute drive past a hundred papa murphys, chanticlear, dominos, pizza ranch, papa johns…

Stopped in after a trip to the art museum for an early dinner. The inside is decorated with a lot of New York memorabilia and there were plenty of food and drink options. I got a cheese slice, a stromboli, a cookie(packaged), and a can of soda for under $ 12. The slice was okay but the stromboli was amazing. Great early dinner for a great price.

FINALY a real pizza! New York style crust… As my man says you“re not obligated to eat the crust, you want to. Ordered the Long Island veggie– loaded with veggies: spinach onion, black and green olive, green pepper and mushroom. I’m so happy with this late night choice! NY, I will be back! Oh they also offer slices, sandwiches, Heros, calzones, salads wings and pasta. They make their own sauce!

Well I’ve now had the opportunity to try thier pizza hot and fresh and like it alot! It’s very unique pizza and it’s cheap! They also have incredible baklava and they’re only $ 2 a piece! I know many places charge 4 — 5 dollars for baklava that isn’t nearly as good!

They are very friendly here. I ordered à basil, feta and tomato slice for myself. Kinda strange the pizza sits out then they put back in pizza oven. The pizza wasnt even really hot temperature wise. It was good but I have had better. I also ordered à takeout cheese slice for my son to eat later. The breadsticks/garlic rolls were à bargain at 99 cents or four for $ 2.99. This came with marinara sauce. Parking is à pain on Nicollet. They have parking in back it says. Pizza slice was $ 2.75 cheese and $ 3.75 specialty. Might be back another time. Did not like the hard crust.

So excited to have found this place(thanks, Unilocal!) because they’re serving up the closest thing I’ve found to NY style pizza in MN. I just returned from my first-ever trip to NYC a week ago, and I came back a changed woman. Changed in that after I had NY pizza, I realized I’d been cheated my entire life out of what pizza passes for here in the Midwest(and most other places). See I’m a fan of thin crust pizza, but I don’t like it to be to wet/floppy – it must have a crunch the entire way through. That’s exactly what I found the pizza to be like in NY, and believe me I ate a LOT of pizza – 6 different places in 2 days, as a matter of fact. I was like an out-of-shape 30-ish Midwesterner version of a teenage mutant ninja turtle out there when it came to pizza. I was unstoppable and as I boarded the plane to return home, I grabbed one last slice to soak up my tears of knowing I might never have pizza exactly the way I like it until one day I could return to NY. I ordered two slices of cheese to go. This place is TINY, maybe 5 little tables. There was a soccer game blaring from the TV which was why I deducted one star – I don’t know what kind of chant or whistles were coming from the stadium crowd but it was damn near deafening and I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there, it was making me anxious. The crust was perfect!!! The sauce also had that slight sweetness that I found to be consistent with the NY pizza I tried. The cheese was just the right amount. Overall the flavor was maybe a LITTLE bland but what do you expect from plain cheese pizza?! Nothing a little shake of garlic salt and red pepper flakes can’t fix, and I add that to all pizza anyway. Sorry, Punch and Luce, but this place is my jam now.

I am from New York so I write this review wanting this place to be good and a bit worried about the Goodfella/Godfather/etc references on the wall, but I gotta be me. The pizza is not great. But I haven’t found greatness in MPLS either. But it could use more sauce, more toppings, a better crust. They are open till 3AM, so maybe that is where they do most of their business. The owner is a New Yorker, and I loved the nostalgic photos on the wall, the artifacts, but the pizza and other food needs a bit of a boost. They have HDTV for games.
