RUDE store owner! Took a picture of a few things I liked and he stood behind me and said«don’t take pictures of my magnets there for sell if you want to buy them» uhhh not thanks and will never return after this. Poor customer service.

What a gem! On my visit to MN last week, my girlfriend and her hubby took me to this shop. It’s a bit small but everything inside was absolutely adorable! Only problem, some of the items were super pricy! I spent some time checking out the beautiful couches and lighting they carried. If I lived in MN, I would totally consider getting a few items from this place.

Unique furnishings, average gift selection(think sarcastic greeting cards and off-brand scented candles.) I stop in here every once in awhile for a good browse, but have never made a purchase. They had a great sale last week, and I stopped in intending to purchase a coffee table that somebody had recommended to me. It was the right dimensions, had the right cool features, but was the wrong color. Sucky. I asked an employee what the brand was, or if he had other colors. It was the last one. He then grumbled that«online shopping was bad for small businesses» and no, he would not tell me what the brand or model name was. ie: piss off. I guess they don’t want anyone knowing what the markup for their furniture is! It must be significant. Better try Room & Board from here on out, or maybe just stick to IKEA. I love patronizing small and local businesses, but I also love polite salespeople and knowing I got a good deal.

I always like stopping in here when I’m walking around Uptown. It’s a cute little store that has a lot of things, that I feel, no one would ever really need, just want. I’ve gotten a bunch of birthday gifts here for people and they’ve really liked them. I feel like some of their stuff is super overpriced though. Some of the books, and candles, I feel could be a little less, and I may actually buy them, but really, I’m not the kind of person to spend like $ 30 on candles. I just don’t like doing things like that. I really want some of the furniture in there, If I could afford it, or really needed it, I would so buy it. Some of the items they have are just gorgeous! I really want a purple plush daybed couch. that would look ever so nice! Anyways, this is a good place to browse, especially when you don’t have anything to do. They also have some good finds too, so don’t be nervous when you find yourself buying a lot of things you don’t need!

this kind of shop has become a bit ubiquitous — quirky candles, bitchy cards, toys and gadgets ranging from modern and sleek to tawdry and dripping in sexual innuendo. it’s almost like the modern day, adult version of a Spencer Gifts. I am sure the owner won’t like being compared to that mall legacy of the 80’s, but it is what it is. still, a fun store for a 10 minute break from the arctic chill outside
