Love the aesthetics here… really helpful and friendly salespeople… glad Jonathan Adler made it to the relative small pond of Minneapolis!

But in the meantime I got a notice of a 20% off sale this weekend, and used it as an opportunity to check it out. I’ve always questioned my son’s choice of the weirdest blue. Sure enough they had gorgeous lamps that would go perfectly, for a mere $ 275. Like Jen B., after decorating my whole house in my mind, including a throw pillow of a 60’s mod Diana Ross, I was drawn to an over sized hand towel that I use for my hair. It’s beautiful and very plush white with a turquoise lining, and at $ 20 it’s one of my prized possessions.

I would buy everything in this store if I could. As it stands, I bought a pretty patterned iPhone cover that is starting to fade after a month. Such is life.

Only problem with this place is that my wallet is not a cash-​stash in Mary Poppins’ carpet bag.
I’ve been here a few times since it opened and always leave vowing to make a million dollars so that I can come back and actually buy something. I’m sure the shopkeepers are wondering who this grown woman is with her nose pressed up on the glass. Like a pauper.
The shop is bright, colorful and well-​designed (clearly, since it’s a design boutique). The merchandise includes the whole range of home goods, from graphic duvet covers to whimsical salt shakers and quirky animal sculptures. Everything is unique and absolutely screams good taste.
So while I might never be able to enjoy that perfect Jonathan Adler throw blanket on my couch at home, I’d highly recommend this place if you have the dough. Or not — It’s still fun to look.
P. S. I also had the opportunity to attend the opening party too, which was packed with well-​groomed Minneapolitans and Jonathan Adler himself!

It’s much more fun to lust in person over gorgeous home décor than online; and now you can at Jonathan Adler! I stopped in today and the store is absolutely beautiful & full of his quirky signature touches. I wish I could afford more than candles & coasters but it’s still fun to look.
Great place to shop for a great accent piece, gift or for no reason at all!
