I’ve eaten Phở at several places around the U of M campus but KimBinh’s phở is by far the best. They know their phở. I also like their Bun Bo Hue(spicy noodle soup) and egg rolls. I’ll have to come back and try the rest of their menu. Patio seating is a plus on those beautiful summer evenings. Located in Dinkytown, validated parking makes it a breeze. Good food, good prices — thumbs up from me!

I haven’t really had any of their other food, but if you’re a vegetarian, then come winter, you HAVE to come here for their vegetarian Phở. That’s right, vegetarian phở. This broth is from nothing but vegetables(though you’d be skeptical at first, I confirmed it with the owner, 100% vegan my friends). It’s earthy, it’s sweet, it’s hearty. It’s everything meat broth should be, but animal friendly!

KimBinh just opened a month ago and the timing couldn’t be better. I was looking for a good place to get a decent bowl of phở(Vietnamese Noodle soup) around the Dinkytown area and was not expecting much. But this place blew me away. Not only is the Phở decent, it’s freakin’ tasty and just as good my other favorite Phở shop in Minneapolis(Pho79). The place is clean, service was prompt. What else can I say? If you’re located in the U of M campus area and need a good bowl of Vietnamese Noodle soup, you can’t go wrong with KimBinh. BTW — Try thier egg noodle soup with wontons, my other favorite dish of theirs.
