Excellent service, great menu, and atmosphere. The food was played very nicely and the drinks were spectacular. I came her for nachos with the kids and they were amazing. This time it was a girls dinner and I had the best meal. I know it may be a small chain but that doesn’t demote this place.

Man, whatta chump joint! Great for twenty somethings to overpay at, but not real folk. The dollar hamburger actually costs at least 5 $, as one must have a beverage with it. The food was well dressed greasy bar food. Great if you are a shifty malcontent looking to impress the other simps in the room.

Went there and sat at the bar. Was looking for a steak. Did not have many traditional menu items. I settled for a couple appetizers. I got the tempura shrimp and boneless buffalo wings. The shrimp was average. Decent sauces came with and not a bad serving of sauces. The wings were awful. They were small an basically burnt. I was never asked how everything was by a manager nor the bartender. I hardly touched them and asked for the check. Even then I wasn’t asked if I enjoyed them or why I only ate 2 wings and didn’t get a box. I didn’t drink any beer while I was there but looked like they had a nice selection. If I was to ever return it’d be to drink only.

Freaking awesomeness! Salmon sliders… delish! I also had the veggie flatbread and it was just ok. But the salmon sliders… Ummmm. Yes please! They were amazing. The night I went which was a Wednesday or Thursday I believe, they also do $ 5 martinis… yum delish. I’ve always been a fan of Bar Louie, because they take bar food and elevate it. So of course I’ll be back!

This is a beautiful bar and restaurant! It’s massive, and seems like it would be a great place to host a big event with a group. We sat on the bar side, and ordered one of the most delicious cocktails I’ve ever had: the coconut mint lemonade. Holy, delicious!!! This is an amazing summer cocktail, and I totally aspire to make one like this at home. Also tried the strawberry lemonade sangria, which is delightful and summery as well. Food-wise we decided to share the apps, which I’m glad Samantha A suggested, because this menu is massive! There’s certainly something here for everyone. I was skeptical about the salmon sliders, as I find salmon can just be awful if not done properly, but these were so adorable and tasty! The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the flavourful toppings made it so tasty. I love that the little sliders some with fries! It’s pretty much big enough for a small meal. We also got the chicken parmesan sliders, which I may have loved even more! the veggie flatbread was tasty as well, but I was so full I only tried a little. Overall, this place is amazing for drinks and food, and would be great for a group. Prices were decent, staff was friendly and the atmosphere casual, but classy.

Bar Louie is the prime spot for crafted cocktails. Coconut mint lemonade is TODIE for and the Strawberry Lemonade Sangria is just as delicious. There is a HUGE line of beer taps that feature classic domestics AND a generous amount of crafts, seasonal, and sought after local brews from places like Greenbush, Burn Em Brewing, and 3 Floyd’s. The menu is huge so if you’ve never been there before… Scope it out online or plan on taking a minute to look it all over. There are classic options like burgers, wings, and spinach dip… But there are also unique options like Ginger shrimp lettuce wraps and Seasame crusted Ahi Tuna steak sandwich. My go to order is the outrageously delicious veggie flatbread. It has the in house made spinach artichoke dip as a sauce topped with grilled mushrooms, tomatoes, balsamic onions, and cheese. I also love the chicken parmisan or blackened salmon sliders that come with bacon, pesto mayo(other toppings) ANDFRIES. An app with a sandwich and fries? Hello?!? Can I get a YUM?!? The staff is sweet, pretty, and always ready with suggestions if you’re having trouble deciding. Plus there is always something going on there… DJs on the weekends… Martini night… Half priced apps… one dollar burgers… You have to come check it out! Oh– fun fact: Bar Louie is locally owned and while it is part of a «chain» the way it’s «owned and operated» is locally based and a little bit different than a typical bar Louie. The manager(mike– who gives TOPNOTCH customer service) said all sauces are made in house and most all items are home made, hand breaded, freshly composed every day. That’s a business you can back if you love local and love Michiana.
