Godfathers Pizza

The buffet price was high at $ 9.49 without a drink. The salad bar had a good variety of fresh, healthy items including broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, and hard boiled eggs. There were seven pizza varieties available at the buffet including my favorite combo, veggie, beef, and pepperoni. The pizza tasted great, and was just the right temperature. The service at the counter was exemplary (friendly, helpful, and efficient). The dining area was nicely done and clean, with pleasant classic rock background music. Vintage arcade games and a pinball table were available. If you buy a buffet and a drink on Thursdays and get your receipt stamped, then you can come back for a free buffet within the next week. Overall A-​OK.

Great pizza! Got a medium with olives and tomatoes! So delicious:) the service was great, they even give you a free beverage while you are waiting inside. The lady at the front counter even let us look at the pizza to make sure it was to our liking before we left! Great service to me! Try it out :)

I love the pizza! But the delivery is horrible. It usually takes 1.5−2 hours if there’s even a driver on staff that date. I’ve placed orders online only to have to either not go through it gets canceled for no reason. The website isn’t the most user-​friendly either.

Terrible service. Quality of the food was low, as well. Did I mention terrible service? Also. The service is terrible.

The buffet is pretty expensive for what it is. A few of the classic staples are on it, so it’s ok to wander in there now and again, but $ 11.xx for a buffet and a soda? Seems awfully pricy with competition like Pizza Street and Cici’s killing prices like that.
The worst part? The LOUD country music in the dining room. Country music has a very select crowd and it’s one of those things you either love or you hate. I personally hate it… it is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Besides, what is it about an Italian mobster that dictates playing country music in his restaurant? Makes no sense, and made me eat as fast as I could so I could get the hell out of there. The only thing worse than shitty music is LOUD SHITTY MUSIC!
I’ll order for delivery next time. Godfathers still rocks the best Taco Pizza ever…

I personally like the pizza godfathers offers but the service at the Mission location is so bad, especially if you are wanting a delivery that I no longer eat there. 4 out my last 5 deliveries were taken to the wrong side of town and the 5^th order they forgot to deliver at all. Maybe with a new staff…

This place is terrible. Seriously, piss poor service and the pizza is worse.

I have always liked GF’s thin crust. The comments about this place being ragged are truth, they haven’t changed in 30 years, and they could probably do with some new upholstery, carpet shampoo and kitchen degreasing. Once when I was there and the youthful (politically correct?) staff was very happy, but I knew why… there was a strong herbal aroma coming from the back, and it was oregeno… I thought someone was burning rope.
Stoned teens either put WAY too much on, or not enough, depending on their mood. I always try to be nice and fun, leave rolling papers as a tip and rarely do I have a problem. Of course it is a little odd to leave rolling papers as a tip, but it seems to be appreciated.
Make sure the green herbs on your pizza are oregeno, or you may fail your next drug test. I’m not being mean, I’m being honest. It would be awesome if they would do a deep cleaning on the store, but other than that, it’s decent, and while not D’Bronx or Minsky’s, it’s okay.

Godfather’s is the first restaurant pizza I ever ate. I was about ten years old, and we went there for my brother’s birthday. That was at the one in KCK at 38^th and State. Well, it’s 33 years later, and I still love Godfather’s pizza! The sauce is good, and I love the non-​greasy, flavorful, chewy original crust.
Primarily, I order large quantities when I host massive events with hundreds of people for my work. Management is always friendly, helpful, and they give me a steal if I order a lot! Delivery drivers are great, punctual, and I couldn’t ask for better. For delivery and pizza itself, I would give it five stars. The place itself is kinda raggedy, though, so I have no interest in actually sitting down and eating in the restaurant (although I have many times over the years). I highly recommend if you are a coach, hosting a sporting event, or just want to order pizza delivery for home.

Service at the counter — Terrible, the girl working there was rude and acted like she hated to be there
Food — TERRIBLE, this pizza is absolutely awful, doughy crust that seemed undercooked but apparently that’s how it’s supposed to be here LOL
Atmosphere — if you like a restaurant that doesn’t appear to be very new clean or welcoming, this might be the place for you.
YUCK, never again. I don’t care if they gave me a free pizza, i’d rather pay for a good pizza than eat at this place again.

Be prepared to have your order screwed up… or to wait longer than you expected. We don’t normally eat here but decided to give it a shot again. The pizza tastes the way it always tastes. Good, not great. But the workers forgot to actually make our food. So we had to wait after we had already waited to pick it up. I didn’t expect too much though. It’s run by teenagers without any adults present… so I can’t really blame them. I’d screw around too! It’s ok but sometimes not really worth the hassle.

The crust is tough and chewy, little to no cheese, and light toppings and messed up order all for $ 30 w a $ 4 coupon. Certainly checking this place off the list. In these hard times quality is the last thing a business can mess with and still expect happy customers. Too bad I really use to love this place

I used to be a fan of this place. Especially their cheeseburger pizza and their dessert pizza but not so much any more. The last visit was ruined by a rude manager who refused to even listen to my complaint. I will never eat here again as long as «Charlie» (not sure if that’s his real name or not) still manages this location.
