Busy Friday evening, so maybe I’m not being fair. It seemed that a lot of newbies were working tonight and that most of the employees seemed more interested in chatting than taking care of the orders. I felt like a teacher trying to keep the students’ attention just to get my order completed. I get to the checkout and the fella can’t figure out how to enter my reward membership number. The girl that«cut» the pizzas, really just put dents in them, so if you pulled out a slice, all the toppings pulled off. I’ve had better experiences at less congested locations, so I’ll likely avoid this location in the future, unless something special comes up.

Pizza is good though they don’t put enough on it. Worse part is the customer service. I’m usually fine until the end of the line with the pizza cutter and the cashier they are usually rude

Always a solid choice for lunch or dinner. The pizzas are always $ 6.99 whether you order one off the list or create your own, unlike other pizza places where they up-charge you on toppings. After 10 or so visits we have never been disappointed. The staff here is really great and super friendly. Pros: Friendly Staff Quick Pizza No hidden cost for extra toppings Perfect size pizza– serves 1 – 2 people Cons: None

Very good food but still felt a little hungry afterwards. Definitely like the barbecue chicken option.

Looks like a good idea but it’s poorly executed. My pizza was lukewarm coming out of the oven and it was ice cold after the second piece. The taste was just average, nothing special. Doubt I go back.

I might have originally rated this store/food slightly higher, but that was before I tried Topp’d. The prices were very similar, but the amount of toppings and quality of the crust were worlds apart. I’m a big guy and just half of the Topp’d pizza filled me up. The store itself was far cleaner than Pie5 also.

I’ve been here a couple of times. I enjoyed the first time I went but the last time that I went here my pizza was burnt. It was disappointing since the first time I went the pizza was really good. I also didn’t like that they cut my pizza with a pizza cutter that was covered in food.

The pizza was quick(five minutes), customized, and tasty. I liked the many choices, and the friendly employees. The dining area was clean, and new, with a good vibe. Very nice!

Pizza was pretty good… I had a salad not in the crust bowl… I thought it was a little to much salad dressing and I wish they had asked what kind of dressing I’m not big on the vinaigrette dressing but it was pretty good. can’t complain… the day we were there the pop machine wasn’t working so that was kinda of a bummer

Great place to grab some quick lunch. I love the variety of toppings they have. I got the veggie with some BBQ pork on top that hit the spot. Friendly service, but we are in the Midwest where everyone is nice. I’m excited to see more things open up in Mission.

It pains me to not give a excellent review of this place. This is Pie Five has not been around for very long, but I got a case of the Meh’s on my visit here. I ordered pizzas for my wife and I to bring to work, which she works in the area. Chicken Carbonara for her and a High Five for me. My biggest issue was the crust. We both got thin crust. Is it so hard to have rounder crusts? It’s like they ran the dough through their«flattener» and slapped it on a pan. Looks to me like someone doesn’t take pride in their work, just getting things done as quick as possible. Secondly, I observed people in front of me getting their pizzas made. There seemed to be some confusion on how much of the toppings to put on a pizza. The first server puts 5 large pepperoni slices on the customer’s pizza, then the next one takes one off. I ordered a High Five, which is their meat lovers, and the same thing happened with my pizza. Honestly, the crispy pepperoni is often the best part on a pizza. A 5th slice would have been very welcome. Let’s get it together here. Regardless, this place is new and I’m sure will see improvements. I will continue to patronize this place mainly due to the proximity to home and work for me. If things don’t improve, that may change.

To me, this is the epitome of «meh, I’ve had better». It’s one or two notches below Papa John’s and one notch above Tony’s Pizza you find in the freezer aisle. Not sure if the ‘magic dust’ did it or what, but it was the saltiest thing I’ve eaten in quite a while. Thought the service could have been a little friendlier as well, hey maybe how about a smile and«have a good day» instead of throwing our box in a bag and walking away… just a thought It’s not good. With Chipotle right across the road and many, many other options in budding Mission, probably won’t be going back — not anytime soon that is. Oh and its cheap, so that’s appealing to some. All-in-all, it’s a Pass.

We had a coupon for 1 free entrée. We came in and got 3 to go. The Jack Stack pizza, the High Five, and spinach salad. Two of us were famished and still couldn’t finish all of the food. The good thing is you can add as a many toppings as you like, so I was super excited about that. That was probably the thing that pushed me over the edge to become a potential regular.

These guys are fast and friendly. More fun than the make your own burrito place next door and cheaper! Unlimited toppings for 6.99 $ and you can get a drink and either salad or dessert with it for 10 $. This is next up on the hubby and me cheap date night. And the kids will love making their very own — no sharing– pizza.

Oh my pie! Built my own pizza(any toppings you want as much as you want!), got a salad and a drink for 11.02! If you don’t want a salad you can choose from their deserts for the same price! Will be back and with the whole family!!!

Really good pizza and value. I had the Hi Five(basically all meats, red sauce, and cheddar) add ricotta and chose a deep dish crust. $ 6.99 In fact everything is that price. It was delicious and plenty of food, even though I’m a big eater. NOTE: They do not take phone-in orders here.

This place has been popping up around KC and its burbs quite a bit in the past year, but I hadn’t stopped in to check one out until the one in Mission opened on Johnson Drive this month. For its size, Mission is getting to have quite the number of choices for casual lunches, though most of it is fast food-ish or a slight tier up, like Pie Five. Still, options close to home are never something I’ll complain about. This location just opened, last week, I think, so they have a pretty new staff. The concept is somewhere in the hybrid Subway/Chipotle approach to making personal pizzas… they have a number of specialty pizzas with preselected ingredient combos posted on a menuboard, or you can build your own. They feature different crusts; a multigrain, a thin/crispy, a pan, and even a gluten-free for that whole crowd. You choose from a bunch of toppings kept in tubs behind the glass, a la Subway, and most of them looked pretty fresh and good. I got the Pesto Chicken Alfredo pizza on a thin crust, and it had fresh basil and really fresh cherry tomatoes. Lots of their options have different sauces than just a standard red pizza sauce. The crust had a little more give than was probably optimum for eating it non-messily, but as I let it cool, it firmed up a bit. The ingredients were pretty decent, esp. the veggies. Mine came with caramelized onion, which was actually delicious. The girl making mine was new and being coached through on how to assemble the one I ordered which seemed kind of embarrassing for her, but, hey, the pizza was good. You pay a flat price for the pizzas, no matter the toppings you get. It would be a little steep for just a thin-crust, cheese pizza, but if you get the pan crust with lots of toppings, you could get a pretty filling meal for your money. The«individual» size is actually pretty big, and more filling than it looks. You can also get salads, which they put in «bowls» made of pizza crust. This hearkens back to being a college student and studying at our local Perkins restaurant, where they served breadbowl salads in the 90s, so I was intrigued. All in all, it’s not too different a concept or price point than local spot Pizza 51, in that you can order individual servings made to order, or according to preset topping combos. Pie Five’s thing is that they run it through the oven and you get it in five minutes, which is really probably all the longer it should take at Pizza 51. Ambience is of course akin to similar chains, it’s pretty much styled like a Chipotle. There is outdoor seating at this one, but it is along busy Johnson Drive, just off Metcalf, so I wonder how loud it is. It is «sunken,» though, below street level, which could help, as long as they can keep it clean of debris and leaves and stuff.

Had some high expectations for the first time going. It was just ok not great not bad. You get a lot of food with the meal deal but you certainly pay for it. Salad was good but too much dressing. Pizza was good in size for one person and was ok in taste. Would rather go to pizza shoppe for their lunch deal.
