Panda Express

I’d like to brag of a awesome experience but when we’ve waited over 30 min because they had nothing ready is BS. I can’t believe they had ¾ of their display empty! It was 8:20 when we got here. No offer for compensation and I just heard them say we’re out of everything. You can order what you see or you can wait. Rude ass customer service. The only benefit is my food will be fresh except for the white rice on one plate and the chowmein that’s been served just sitting out of view of the heat lamps while I wait for everything else.

Always fresh but the line gets pretty long during dinner rush and it gets crowded because it’s a bit small.

This location is consistently terrible. Came in at 7:10 and just left at 7:45 — there were only 2 people ahead of me in line! Nearly all of the trays were almost empty and soggy looking. Frustratingly, this is what o was served for most of my order — soggy old food. Then there was the orange chicken. Week night. Dinner time. No orange chicken. Communicated wait time — 8 min. Actual wait time — 19min. Do you think the rest of my order was even more cold and soggy than it was on the serving line? Yup. Additionally frustrating is that this food isn’t cheap. I spent $ 20 on dinner for my family that was gross. Just gross. I’ve come to this location before and have had similar experiences — many frustrated customers standing around waiting for one entrée to be made while the rest of their old, soggy food gets cold.
Bottom line: go to the Floyd/​Roselle or Orangeburg/​Briggsmore locations.
Sending my experience to Corporate. Hopefully they will help this location become a better representation of their brand.

This is one of the best pandas i have been to its always clean and the people are always helpful and nice and the food is always fresh.

Came in at 630 pm. Dinner rush time. Four items I ordered were on a waitlist. Staff was friendly but didn’t appreciate a wait at a FAST FOOD restaurant. Took 15 minutes for food. Not too bad if I wasn’t in a huge hurry.

If it was possible to give them no stars, I would. We’ve gone there a handful of times and have always left disappointed. The first time we were disappointed was when we were waiting on orange chicken and they let all our other food sit out and get cold for the ten minutes we had to wait for orange chicken. Another time, we waited fifteen minutes in line for it to move two people. Not two groups of people, but literally two people in line. Then, Betty (who we always seem to have a problem with) was super rude when we were trying to order. Tonight, though, tops it. Tonight, July 21^st at 7:30pm we were disgusted when we were eating. We were sitting in there eating and Betty was wiping all of the tables down cleaning them. After that she heads to the trash. We watched her go through the trash, pick up all of the Styrofoam boxes, empty them into the trash, stack the boxes, put them back in the trash and close it. All without any gloves or anything, just with her bare hands. She sat there for about five minutes doing that right next to our table. At first we were disgusted that she would be doing that instead of just taking the trash out like she was supposed to. Immediately after touching the trash, she goes and touches all of the forks, knives and spoons. WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. I almost threw up right then. I went over to the manager, Chris, and told him what happened. He went in the back and talked to her. He admitted to me that he’s had multiple complaints and problems with Betty. He was extremely apologetic and gave us our money back, along with a coupon for any location. Unfortunately, we’ve had too many problems with that particular location. So we will NEVER go back to that one.

Best fast food in Modesto. We frequent this location, sometimes twice a week and are never disappointed. Their food is always freshly cooked, the service is quick and the facility is clean. Recently discovered the online ordering that eliminates waiting in line. The place is popular as it should be. The Chicken with String Beans and Walnut Honey Shrimp are favorites. Try the online ordering, it’s great to be in and out when you’re hungry.

Terrible service by Juliana. Went in to get some to go and left out disappointed. I asked for mushroom chicken and didn’t get any mushrooms so I asked if she could put some in there and she said she could she would just have to take food out… so she proceeded to take some out as well as my teriyaki chicken and didn’t ask if I’d like sauce for that…

Some of the food tasted stale and some of the chicken was crispy and fresh but the walnut shrimp was pretty amazing, but I would probably not come back to this location unless I really had to nothing against Panda Express just more on this location. I give it 3 stars because of how some food was fresh and some not and I love chopsticks but the chopsticks were Modesto at best.

This location is horrible! It’s irritating because it’s close to home, but now we drive 10 more minutes to the location by Raleys. This one over cooks food and the staff except for 1 or 2 people are very cold and rude.

Love me some Panda Express but this is probably the slowest one that I have ever been too!
Lines go out the door and when you go to order your most likely gonna have to wait awhile for the particular food that you actually want!
Advice, before getting in line, check out and make sure all the food you want is actually there, and if not ASK when it And if it’s just a little bit in the tray, tell them you want a fresh order. They are pretty accommodating to that as they are known for HOT, FRESH, FAST Chinese food,

You’re in a hurry and want something that resembles Chinese food but you don’t have much money. This is what brings you to Panda Express. Surprisingly the food here can be good if you follow one caveat. Order it fresh every time. The workers will hate you and try to convince you the food on display just came up but don’t believe it. Let them scowl and order it fresh. It only takes 6 – 10 minutes and your stomach and rectum will thank you for it later.

Finally have a menu change with a few new items. It got boring.
Prices seem to be a bit higher, but maybe that is just me.
Quality is the same with their measured portions. Speedy service, esp for lunch or in a hurry meals.

The food is great, however, I’ve not seen a more unorganized Panda Express… Almost always have to wait for something… It seems like the ideas of «lunch rush» and «dinner rush,» do not occur to them in the way of planning ahead…

there OK, but why would i go here when theres a million other chinese places that give me 4x the food for ½ the price… and the food is authentic and better as well… panda express is to chinese food as taco bell is to mexican food

I went with my bf the food was good not much to choose from thow the trays were half empty. Also customer service was not good at all the girl that gave us our food had a bit of an attitude. Other then that the place was clean.

Its Panda Express need i say more. I have been to numerous ones and they are all on point… The only thing that is lacking from this place is a drive thru… The employees are very friendly and nice and they keep this store clean.

Panda Express is always a great alternative when looking for fast food. I don’t know that any of it is all that healthy, but it is good.
I got a little frustrated ordering here though. All I wanted was chow mein and some of those cream cheese rangoons, but the woman kept offering me orange chicken. I didn’t want any orange chicken, but she kept trying to give me a piece of it on a toothpick. Three times I said chow mein before we finally got to business. And the rangoons? They were out and I had to wait for them to be cooked (this happens every time I order them… so either everyone orders them and they run out or nobody orders them so they never make them… I haven’t decided which it is yet).
Could be a little cheaper, but it is good. And the usual fast food does get old, so I’m sure I’ll be back. The fortune cookie is a big draw too.

Panda is always good.
