One of my favorite places to go since grad school. Between the wings, beer selection, and prompt service, this place is like a family. My best friend and I love to come here on a Friday after work when we crave the goat cheese burger(so yummy). It’s definitely a place you could stay for hours and not mean to because you are relaxed and having such a good time!!!

I can’t believe it took me so long to write this review since I frequent this establishment every week. What makes a great bar review? 1) wing night is awesome on Wednesday .40 wings that taste awesome with fantastic homemade Blue cheese dressing. 2) drinks are poured generously for a fair price 3) great people watching 4) great bar food 5) Eric the bartender is always smiling and cheery and the rare occasion he isn’t tending the bar the other staff does a great job. 6) plenty of Televisions to watch the games 7) plenty of pool tables Most of the patrons are regulars and I can see why. Love this place, it’s always sure to be a good ol’ time… sort of a hidden gem.

The bar was clean and it wasn’t too busy. I was able to get my beers quickly and the bartender remembered my name. We were able to get a pool table as soon as we got there and kept it the entire night without a problem. The only downfall was the fact that the jukebox is a dollar per song and a group of guys kept playing screamo music the entire night. Yikes.

In short, the server obviously did not want to be there. She never smiled or was friendly in any way. The drink orders took nearly 15 minutes to be completed. Half of our table, party of 12, were able to order food before she walked away. After the food was delivered, she disappeared for nearly 20 minutes — not once coming back to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. Had she glanced our way she would have seen an empty pitcher needing a refill and three ladies sitting without food. Ended up going to the bar for our own refill. Once flagged down she reluctantly took the ladies order — telling them their order was already taken. The food was subpar. The beer was subpar. Their beer selections have gone downhill. Their tap lines need a good cleaning!!! Hint: run some beer off the tap before serving — tastes stale! By the way, the stipulation for servers to receive 18% gratuity for parties of 8 or more should be revoked. There is NO incentive for them to treat the customers like they should be. When I was here two months ago I said I would not return. Today, I guarantee that I will not.

I went there for their ribs. Though they do taste relatively good, I have never seen such skimpy ribs in my whole life. I got a half rack and it probably amounted to less than a cup of meat. Lots of bones, but not much on them. This place has a lot of bar specials. My guess is that their skipping on the menu items to make up for their lack of profits. I think the ploy is to make you buy a full rack of ribs which is more money in order to get filled up. But A half rack technically should be fine. It’s a whole lot more work having to go through a full rack of bony ribs then it is just get what you’re supposed to get with a half rack. As for the sides that go with the half rack of ribs, they are fine.

Food is mediocre. Service is ok sometimes and crappy other times. It is, however, a great place to watch Sunday football. They have a ton of TVs and if you get there early enough you can get your game playing on the tv in front of you. If you go on Sunday sit at the bar to the right. The male bartender is a better bartender than the 2 girls working the left bar.

I started going to buffalo bills this summer and now I’m there almost every wednesday for wing night and to grab a beer and play some pool etc. Great relaxed atmosphere. It’s a super mellow place to hang out and have a good time and the staff is great! ask for trish as your waitress!

They do have good wings here but the clientele can get a little rowdy. This is pretty much a bar for the beer drinking crowd and a bit of a pick up place. While they have been around for years, they have yet to figure out exactly what they want to be. But as I said, if you are in the mood for wings and you are in Monroe then fine. Go on a special night or your bill for drinks might be a surprise.

I live in AZ but visited this place just to find somewhere in this part of CT that offered a happy hour and tvs. I know great sports bars, deals, and happy hours. I’ve got mixed reviews for this place. First, they have a good happy hour from 4 – 6 M-F, especially for CT. They don’t carry my beer, Miller 64, but they did have Michelob Ultra. Prices are $ 2 for a bottle during happy hour. Great deal. However, happy hour is suppose to be 4 – 6. My husband went up to the bar at 5:55 and ordered our last 2 happy hour beers. They charged us full price using the excuse that their bar computer /cash register doesn’t go by real time. It is set so that happy hour prices are over at 5:55 and not 6pm. First, this is false advertising and illegal. They should change the signs to 4 – 5:55. So, this type of thing irks me. The bar was hot and humid. The bar it self, doesn’t seat many people, but there are tables. They had another bar where people could actually sit at the bar, but they had it closed for some reason. The wait staff is very slow. We never got our last beer. We ordered their wings. I thought they were very good and priced well. We didn’t have the 30cent wings that people are talking about. There were no other appetizer specials. Every place we go to in the Phoenix area has ½ off appetizers, free food, and drink specials, but I know there aren’t many places with appetizer specials in CT. Good tvs, good wings, cheap beer… just beware of the warmth in the building, slow service, and happy hour ending at 5:55pm. No daily appetizer specials.

At first I couldn’t figure out how they can afford to keep all of these cute waitresses employed by only charging 30 cents each for wings on Wednesdays. They are surprisingly good, and very spicy! Then I got my bar bill at the end of the night. Well played, Mr. «Buffalo» Bill. Well played.

Just went to BB the second time this week. Had amazing wings, burgers, and sweet potato fries with my husband and friends. The staff is so incredible and accommodating, even during a busy pool league night. Every Saturday night get a tall mixed drink for the price of a small. LOVELISA B!!!

The 20 cent Wednesday night special is cool. We ordered 30 wings(three different types). On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d give them a 7 on taste but overall a 4 as they were all luke warm. It was likely bad luck and I didn’t want to send them back, but nevertheless they were not hot. This is a hot spot for high school kids… half the local HS must have been there… but that’s cool they are eating wings and not getting into other trouble. Will be back another time — only for wings — to see if they come out hot.

You can’t beat Buffalo Bill’s for cheap, delicious wings(20¢ each on Wednesdays). The service is normally quick, though on a busy Wednesday, you may be waiting for a bit. If it’s not Wednesday, the rest of the menu is a bit limited; however, everything I’ve had is done very well. If you’re having a party, there’s plenty of room, many TV’s, several pool tables, a couple video games, and always a crowd for Friday night karaōke. While primarily a bar, they’re trying to become more of a family restaurant(at least during the day), so don’t be afraid to go in the day or early evening if you have kids.

Went for the wings and would go back for the wings. Tried it based on a recommendation and was thrilled with the wings and fries. On a Thursday night, wasn’t sure what to expect, but bartender had to work the bar and about 10 tables near it — so service wasn’t greatest, but once we ordered the food came quicker than expected. Love a good wings place like this that also cares about making good fries. They have extensive steak menu — but I didn’t even look. Will go back.

I was invited to BB in Monroe a couple of times, but circumstances did not allow me to go. Finally my calender was clear, and no other incidents stopped me from going to this place. BB is a sports bar slash steakhouse and on Wednesdays the wings are only $ 0.20 per piece. It is a great place to hang out and eat some cheap chicken. The sad part is that the flavors are limited, available is bar b q and the basic hot wings. For 20¢ no reason to complain, and the wings are tender and juicy… BB is definitely a perfect spot to have a good time with friends on a Wednesday evening, and at the end of the night your wallet is not hurting a bit.
