When I first found this place, I was pretty excited, cool spot, wide variety of options. I was even more excited to see«blackberry sangria lemonade» on the board. I ordered one, and built my own salad. This was about a year back, but I remember the salad being great, and having to ask again for my lemonade. Normally, id never complain about something like that. I work in food service, sometimes you forget. But a few days ago, I went again. Ordered a panini, and a lemonade. The young girl who helped me was sort of rude, but I ignored it, and sat to eat. I got my sandwich, it was yummy, no problems. The macaroni salad tasted like nothing but onion to me. And once again, no lemonade. I guess they don’t cross check orders because I was pretty sure the girl wrote it down. I didn’t bother asking for it afterwords, just made sure it wasn’t added to the check. Long story short: I don’t know why these people don’t want to give me their damn special lemonade.

Salads and Such is good, healthy food. Though it may be on the pricey side, in my opinion the portion they give you is worth it. Service can be slow at times, but the food is consistently good. One of the best options in the area when trying to eat healthier.

I love Salads and Such! It’s so neat and clean. I never have to worry about my orders because Patti knows exactly what my husband likes and he as a chef loves her food. She is very knowledgeable and can answer any question you have!

Hidden gem! Super fresh salads, wraps, soup, and sandwiches. Great alternative to chain restaurants! The portions are enormous and staff is great. Super clean… SO glad we stumbled upon it!

Really fresh consistent food. I’m very health conscious and this is a go to spot when I can’t cook. Also, my dad will eat here… and he is so picky and particular that’s saying enough.

I travel down to the Monroe/Woodbury NY area quite a bit and found this little gem. Usually I can only find tasteless healthy food or bad fast food options. This place offers a lot of healthy options that taste great. Nice daily specials that were very unique and interesting. Salads are made fresh right in front of you which was nice. Wraps, Paninis etc are also very good. Service was quick and very upbeat. Have been there 2 – 3 times now and will definitely be coming back.

Quite disappointed in the food for the price. I pre-ordered on the phone and a rude young girl gave me attitude for no reason. My apple delight salad with grilled chicken was accompanied by super dry chicken and a sticker from the apple(which I don’t think was even washed). The balsamic dressing definitely changed for the worse. Broccoli cheddar soup had no broccoli in it… Just little green specs. The soup itself tasted like you were ingesting melted velveeta cheese. Gross. Won’t come back for a while

Worst meal I’ve had since I moved to Monroe. My chicken panini had chopped dark meat, not a cutlet. The pesto was dry and pasty. Service was awful. There was some loud obnoxious guy in there who seemed like he might have been the owner. I will not be going back.

I used to love this place as I had salads once a week. I may have gone twice some weeks. The salads were pricey but good. I was there last week too and ordered my favorite salad with grilled chicken. When I was eating my salad, I noticed very bad taste and was going to throw up but I did not because there were many customers next to me. It was one of the worse food taste that I ever had in my life. I noticed that they used rotten tomatoes in my salad. I separated the rotten tomatoes from the rest and I finished my salad. When most of the customers left, I talked to the owner and explained what happened. The owner was very defensive and did not even apologize. Instead, he brought a small fresh bowl of tomatoes and asked me to test them. Then I asked the owner to taste the saved rotten tomatoes in my plate and he declined. When you pay for $ 11 for a small plate of salad, you expect the fresh vegetables. I never go back there again. You may get sick since salads are raw vegetables not cooked ones.

The salads are always fresh and delicious – lots of selections to choose from! The counter where the ingredients are placed is always very clean. Salad portion sizes are great – you will definitely be full after lunch! The frozen yogurt is also very good(lactose and gluten free)! Unfortunately, the service is definitely sub par. I am a huge fan of local businesses and love supporting the local community, however it is tough to keep coming here when there are so other choices around that have better service. Service is SOIMPORTANT!!! There are one or two employees who are very pleasant and helpful. However, when calling in group orders for work the service is ALWAYS horrible. We have had countless employees and even the owner treat us very rudely. They don’t have strict rules about delivering so it is always an issue over whether they will deliver to our office location – sometimes«yes», sometimes«no». They often mess up the orders but blame it on us. It definitely seems that their ego is a little big and they should appreciate their repeat, local customers a little more. I would say it is worth the visit if you are in the area and can stop by in person, but it is NOT a great place for calling in an order.

My sister and I were in the area and wanted to try something different, but healthy, so we decided to give this place a try. We thought we hit the mother load when we came across Salads and Such because it had a variety of green options and frozen yogurt, but we were sadly disappointed. We opted to do the ‘build our own salad and add the six toppings’ deal– tomatoes, black olives, roasted red peppers, chick peas, walnuts, onions. We also added chicken for some protein and some avocado, and then tossed it in oil and vinegar for a light dressing. After waiting 20 minutes for take-out, we were faced with a $ 30 bill. A little too pricey for our taste, but we thought the salad would be worth it. Well it wasn’t. Not only was the dressing completely oil-based, but the person who made our salad forgot to put on half of our toppings! There were no black olives, chick peas, or onions. There were barely any walnuts, but I guess she made up for that deficiency by adding in almond slices that we did NOT ask for. On top of that, the slice of avocado that we were given was dumped whole on top of the bed of lettuce, making it very difficult to eat. I would never recommend this place to salad lovers or anyone for that fact because you simply don’t get what you pay for.

My wife and I love this place!!! My wife and I are eating here two to three times a week. you can make your own custom salad or choose from one of the salads they have listed. Have not tried the frozen yogurt yet. I am always too full from salad.

This restaurant could be so much better! I was excited to try this place after hearing about it from friends plus it is close to my gym. The décor is clean and bright. The counter where the salads are prepared in front of you was very clean as was the toppings bar for the fro-yo. I went in at lunch time hoping for a salad and a soup. There is a sign that lets you know where the line begins, but no one seemed to be paying attention to that and a few people jumped the line in front of us. The staff seemed harried even though it wasn’t that busy; no smiles or friendly chatter and the girl with the brown hair in a ponytail who served us was flat out rude giving a frustrated sigh at each of my questions about the menu. I was surprised to see how many Daily Specials were offered(sandwiches, salads, half a dozen soups). I ordered the Tuscan White Bean soup and Coconut Shrimp Wrap. While we waited for our food my son and I shared a frozen yogurt. It was good, not amazing. There were 6 not-so-exciting flavors. There were a lot of toppings to choose from and it seemed clean. We took our food to go. There was a nice area to sit down and eat. I don’t think there is a waitstaff, but you could order at the counter and have a seat. My wrap was DRENCHED in dressing(sad face!). The shrimp was cooked nicely and the rest of the ingredients were quality, but the dressing overwhelmed it. I didn’t see an option to upgrade to a healthier tortilla which I would have gladly paid for. My soup was extra salty. I was expecting a much better meal from the look of things in the restaurant. The staff were all wearing t-shirts that had some kind of slogan about healthy eating. I didn’t feel very healthy after eating there. Very disappointed. I’m not sure that I’ll go back there again.

I go here now and then for a take-out meal. The staff is friendly expect for the young brown hair girl(not the owners daughter) and the food comes out quick. I’ve only tried some of their salads and the chicken panini. It tastes great! The chicken noodle soup is what draws me to this store frequently. I’ll be going there more now that the weather is getting colder so I can enjoy a nice bowl of warm chicken noodle soup!

Just got a great salad from here, it was very healthy but also tasty and refreshing. On top of that it was also well priced, and the service and staff were great. It is overall all a very clean and inviting place, you definitely need to try it!

Love this place! I wish there was something like this closer to me. Fresh salads made to order and they usually have a couple of homemade soups as well. Great alternative to the typical deli lunch.

The salads here are great, every time I’ve been here the food is fresh. I like to get the southwestern salad with romaine lettuce, or the cobb salad minus the turkey and bacon. The people who work here are very sweet too! They never get annoyed or frustrated when you ask a lot of questions. If you live in the area I would definitely give this place a shot, and if you like it, signing up for their email list is a plus because you’ll be the first to know any of the new frozen yogurt flavors, soups, and salad specials.

Great idea with the ice cream machines… Build your own soft serve ice cream sunday… what in the world haha… genious…The foods mediocure, the sit down area needs work, maybe some retro oldschool car bench seats or some local sports photos, but over all the place is great… Ill be back soon.
