Tonight was my first time trying seafood. I was a complete nervous weenie mainly bc I didn’t wanna spend money on something I didn’t like. We told the waiter of my issue and recommended I start worth the fish. I tried their Cajun salmon fish that included shrimp,(tried to be bold and try two new things). I actually enjoyed it allot, the fish to be exact. It could be me but the shrimp was a no. Other than that, the service was amazing bc our server was extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide nothing but honest and positive feedback.

Had a great time. Great server. Hooked me up with fresh biscuits. I dont know why they only have 3 stars though. Maybe we came on a good night.

Good service! Yummy food! Lobsters, salmon, shrimp, our server is fantastic! His name is Clarence! We had a good lunch, we were seated right away, parking was plenty. They do have kids meal! Will definitely come back!

Waitress was great when we arrived, but then promptly forgot about us the rest of the night. Had to ask for our food to be delivered. And Ask for our check. And there were items on the menu that then weren’t available. Not a satisfying dinner experience at all.

I grew up going to the Red Lobster in Lancaster, PA quite a bit; however, since moving to California it has been years since I have been to this chain. With so many great restaurant choices in today’s ever evolving restaurant industry, I was hesitant to come back. Well, we went with a Party of three on a Friday evening at about 7pm. This Red Lobster in Monrovia was quite spacious and accommodated a lot of parties. Because of that, we only had a ten minute wait for a table. We were greeted by a very friendly group of hosts and hostesses. We had a very friendly server(I believe her name might have been Alicia). Management was very present around the dining room, but never in the way. Best of all, the food was still awesome and at a relatively reasonable price for the portion size. Who could ever forget the Cheddar Bay Biscuits… plenty of them were brought out by the server. We each had an entrée, which for an average entrée price of about $ 20.00, we found the portion size to be quite nice and the food to be very tasty! We loved the fact that it came with a side and a salad as well. We even shared dessert between the three of us, which we also thought was delicious. We did not try any drinks on this visit. I am glad to see Red Lobster still is the way I remember it when I was younger. Thank you, and I will definitely be returning in the future.

I rarely write reviews and I don’t like lowering business’ stars because I know how it is, but I needed to let this specific location know that a few weeks ago I brought my dad and sister there for their birthdays for Sunday lunch and we were automatically put in the bar area when the dining room was almost completely empty. My dad was very offended by this, because he said the last time he went there, he had the same thing happen. He really felt like we were being racially profiled. I even told the host that it was their birthday and they never sang for them. It was pretty bad. Please train your staff to have better customer service and not to withhold your best service to ethnic people who are paying the SAME amount as everyone else, especially when they’re celebrating birthdays! This was NOT the experience or ambiance we wanted to have to celebrate. They also messed up my order :( I still gave 3 stars because the food was still good and our«bartender» server was quite nice.

When we arrived at this Red Lobster it seemed as though they weren’t open. Nobody was in front to greet us. When the host came out to sit us, instead of the main dining room, they placed the 3 of us in the bar area. My dad asked why we were put in the bar area when there were other people sitting in the main dining room and the host explained that there were no servers available. I have no idea why they seemed so unprepared. Anyway, the bartender was our server for our lunch. We ordered our meals and they got our sides wrong. My sister didn’t want to complain but nonetheless her plate had rice pilaf instead of mashed potatoes. The bartender was a good server but maybe it was just a mix up. Honestly, the service could have been better but Red Lobster, is Red Lobster. You go for the food.

Love their shrimp and crab, especially their ultimate lobster. Their oysters on half shell are delicious

Had the best service. The place was full of birthdays tonight so even with that our waiter Roland was on point. He came often to check how we were doing. The food was hot and so good. The biscuits still our favorite. The waiter was amazing about asking if we wanted more. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I just had dinner alone here. I love the fact that there is a Red Lobster out here in California because I love their food. I was drawn in for the endless shrimp special. I also glad that the new company is continuing the Daren restaurant way. My overall experience was perfect. The hostess greeted me promptly and I was seated immediately. My waitress for the evening was Grace. I want to send a huge thank you out to Grace for being very friendly, super sweet, kind, and in a positive mood. It is so difficult to find outstanding servers today and Grace was one of those special positive servers. The food was superb overall. Hot fresh, efficient, great portion sizes, and the endless shrimp refills came out fast. The prices are very affordable and reasonable as well. The interior and exterior was clean. I thought this was a large layout compared to other Red Lobster businesses. I would highly recommend this Red Lobster because it was a perfect experience all around. I had a lovely lonely meal this fine evening.(9÷19÷15). Thank you.

Great experience here at Red Lobster. With the help of our server Justine, my friend’s birthday became really perfect. She helped us with the menu and she gave us some more time to pick our food to order.: the food was great. Justine even gave my friend a happy birthday ice cream treat. The guy receptionist was nice too. He wanted to make sure that we are gonna be comfortable on our seat. Another guy approached us and asked us how was our food. Everyone was friendly.

Haven’t been to Red Lobsters in years… I’m talking like 15 years if not more. lol And it was actually this Red Lobster my parents took me to when i was a little kid Left the Arcadia mall the other day and was tired of eating at the same restaurants we always visit so we came to Red Lobster. Service was great as were their starter menu. We shared the Crispy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps($ 10) and the Lobster-Crab-and Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms($ 10). Just off those 2 starters(and the biscuits lol) we were almost full, so we shared the Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon($ 29). Everything we had was amazing! We’ll be back!

Every time I have come here, I have always had excellent service. Wait staff are all so friendly and competent. Sure, maybe a couple of times they forgot to bring me something, but once reminded, he/she brings it out right away. I’m not perfect, so I don’t expect them to be as well. The food is good, not the greatest, but pretty good. The last I went, I got the 4 course meal for 17.99 which included soup, salad, an entrée and a dessert. I really come here for the bread. Oh those cheddar bay biscuits are delicious! I like to put piña colada sauce on the bread. So good!

I haven’t been to a Red Lobster in over 10 years and I decided to come here after trying to make a trip to Sonics down the street which was close. Still can’t figure out how my taste buds went from wanting Sonics to Red Lobster lol The entrance is kind of tricky depending on which way you’re coming from. Coming from the West is easy because you can just enter to your right but coming from the East you would have to make a Left at the red light where Double Tree Hotel is. If you pass Double Tree Hotel, you can turn Left at the next street but you can’t make a U-Turn legally. So I got to Red Lobster on a Tuesday evening around 5pm. There was so much seating available. Which was good for me because it was not busy at all. My server was David and he was super attentive. He kept checking on us at perfect timing and not when I was stuffing my face and trying to answer him that everything was good with a bunch of food in my mouth. So I received my food well within 10 minutes of ordering. It felt like 5 minutes but no way someone can whip that up so fast Which was super fast because I was still enjoying the complimentary famous Cheddar Biscuits. I ordered the Lobster Scampi Linguini which I thought it was extremely delicious. The white wine and garlic scampi sauce was so flavorful. I deducted 1 star only because the linguini was too al dente for my liking. It was rather chewy. I prefer my noodles a little on the softer side. I really enjoyed my dish only because 1-it was flavorful and 2-my dish had big chunks of overflowing lobster meat in it. A lot of places are expected to just put a few pieces but the quantity of Lobster meat was overwhelming in a good way. Maybe they under cooked my linguini and that was the reason why it was made so fast??? I don’t know. Even David himself said it was an all time record. The dish was $ 23.49 and it also came with 2 pieces of toasted sourdough bread and side salad(garden or caesar salad). I got the caesar and it was solid!
I would order this again but perhaps requesting my linguini to be cooked an extra couple of minutes longer. Oh and for dessert I had the Warm Apple Crostada. That was amazing! It was like a round apple pie with little chunks of cinnamon apples inside. It came with whip cream and vanilla ice cream on the side with a caramel drizzle. Overall I had a good dinner. It was not busy at all, we got our food fast, and David was such a great Server.

Red Lobster use to be my favorite seafood restaurant … Until recently. The portion size has decreased extremely. The shrimps are more like medium shrimp. The presentation was lacking. The large plates and decreased portion sizes … Marketing trips. Red Lobster please get it together. No ones a foodie dummy !!! I must say the only thing that has remained the same is the service by the. Staff. They are excellent !! It’s Red Lobster that’s trying to trick the customers. They need competition #Pappeadeux to show them how it’s done –Unhappy customers

It’s been many years my wife and I have been to Red Lobster after problems with the food and never came back, we decided to try it again to have a nice meal at Red lobster. We traveled to Monrovia try out this Red Lobster. When we arrive at the restaurant there was people waiting for their table, we waited it took about 20 minutes but it worth it. Finally we got seated at our booth, the atmosphere at the restaurant was dark but give you a romantic feeling that we like.. We look at the menu they many changes on the menu, we haven’t seen yeah its been a long time we been to a Red Lobster. Our waiter come get our drink order, he was remarkable nice with a good sense of humor. We decided to order the four course meal it’s soup, salad, entrée, and dessert. The soup I order the clam chowder and my wife got cream potate. We both order the fresh garden side. The entrée I order the fresh grill tilapia and my wife order the coconut shrimp and spicy shrimp. The server brought our drinks and the cheese biscuits they were good and warm. Our waiter brought us our soups, my clam chowder smell really good and my wife creamy potato smell also really good. The clam chowder was incredible good with a good flavor it wasn’t fishy that most clam chowder do come from other restaurants. My wife was enjoying her creamy potato soup. The waiter brought us your meal, our meal look really good.
One bite of my fresh grill tilapia was amazing, the flavor incredible good, they grill fish perfect. I can tell the tilapia was fresh it didn’t have any fishy smell that’s good I know the fish is fresh not frozen. My meal comes a side of fresh steam broccoli it was delicious. My wife enjoy her coconut and spicy shrimp including the coconut/pineapple sauce. After we finish with our meal our fourth and final course of our meal dessert. I order the brownie al mode and my wife order the Carmel cheesecake. Final our waiter brought our dessert both dessert look awesome. I really enjoy my dessert it was so good I combine the brownie and vanilla ice cream was incredible good. My wife carmel cheesecake was so devilish good. Overall we enjoy our meal at Red lobster also the service including our waiter. We will go back again to Red Lobster in Monrovia..

(Review based on 2.5 stars) I came to Red Lobster for dinner with my family of a party of 4. When we walked in on a Saturday night around 6:30 pm, we had to wait for a table since we didn’t have a reservation. After a 15 minute wait, we were seated with menus in hand. From the menu, food items I had and shared with family included: Salmon Caesar Salad($ 9.99 for salad + $ 4.50 for salmon, all prior to tax) — I opted for a salad and thought this salad was rather lack luster. The Caesar salad was not chopped very well and so I had these huge hunks of romaine and iceberg lettuce that made it difficult to eat. The salmon tasted fine though. Shrimp Linguini Alfredo(half size, $ 13.49 prior to tax) — Cheesy and creamy but also quite oily and heavy. Thought this linguini alfredo was just average. Wished there were more pieces of shrimp in this dish. Wood-Grilled Peppercorn Sirloin and Shrimp($ 19.99 prior to tax) — Sirloin was rather dry but the shrimp was good. This entrée came with a side of butter for additional dipping, but the shrimp was already seasoned and thought it wasn’t necessary for the butter(but I know not everyone does things the way I do). The complementary cheddar bay biscuits we had were good and filling, wished our server would have been better attentive at refilling our bread basket though. Service was just average and really could have been better. Overall, this dining experience was disappointing. But didn’t expect much from this large restaurant chain. Do not see myself coming back here, nor recommending it to anyone. You can get better seafood elsewhere.

This is the closest Red Lobster to me. Yes… not very close considering I drive from Northeast Los Angeles. Lobsterfest commericals sold me on the Red Lobster. This location has plenty of parking. The location is clean and the service is decent. Food? Well… most people go to Red Lobster for their lobster. They have fresh Maine lobsters for market price. If you go for Lobsterfest… they have a few items on their menu that is all lobster. Sorry to say my dinner(which had both the rock West Coast lobster and the East Coast Maine lobster) and for almost $ 40 was just okay. Everything… was too salty. The lobsters were probably frozen but tasty decent but it was just too salty. The Red… not bad when you go once a year. But not really worth the drive from LA on a daily basis.

Came here on a Sunday night with family, the girl in the front forget to put our names down so we waited an additional 20ish minutes on top of the estimated wait time… CHEDDARBAYBISCUITS: Pretty much the sole reason I will even come to Red Lobster. Biscuit with garlic and cheese baked right into it, unlimited so ask for more. SHRIMPNACHOS: Nachos composed of cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, sour cream, and shrimp. Wished thete was more cheese on top. A hefty portion for an appetizer. Tie it in with the biscuits to start the meal out right. LOBSTERTACOS: Three tortilla tacos with lobster meat and a side of rice pilaf. Wasn’t the biggest fan of their tortillas but had a very generous portion of lobster. Found a bit of a shell in one of the tacos so at least we know they use real lobster. SALMONNEWORLEANS: Salmon smothered with some sort of cream sauce and pico de gallo with shrimp on top. A bit on the small side LOBSTERSCAMPILINGUINI: Linguini pasta with scampi sauce and chunks of lobster on top. Comes with sides of toasted bread. Brother got this, said it was good but not worth the money. Overall, not a bad place for an evening meal with family
