Round Table Pizza

OK pizza. Weekday buffet is good. Quick lunch.

This is the second time that we have come to this restaurant. The first time the food was nowhere near as good as it should be for the price. So it has been about a year or so since then and we decided to try it again since we had some coupons. This time I place the order online and order to receive a 15% off discount. I ordered pizza and wings. Online it said it would be about 45 minutes until the pizza would be delivered. Not even five minutes later I got a phone call stating that they only have one driver and it wouldn’t be for about an hour and a half until my food would actually be delivered. I’ve been asked if I could just come pick it up I was told I could and there was no issues. My fiancé suggested that since this is an inconvenience that they should probably provide additional discount or something for you like a side salad. When I asked I was told that I was already getting enough discount and it would go down by three dollars since I would no longer have to pay the delivery charge. Not wanting to argue with them I went ahead and said I would go get the pizza even though this was a huge inconvenience for me. When I got there the food was already ready and I got out of the car and decided to check it there were no sauces with my wings so I went back in. The guy was rude when I asked for sauces, he really acted like it was coming out of his paycheck… Then I told him this was a huge inconvenience for me and I’ve been disappointed with them 2x. His pathetic attempt at making it better was… «Well we are usually understaffed of Sundays and most people come in to eat» WOW, just wow. Never again will I be going here.

Last time we will be coming here. The time before this it took an hour and thirty minutes for our large pizza to come. not to mention 30 minutes for our pitcher of beer… well this time they brought us out our pitcher of beer with dirty glasses.. . dirty glasses that had been semi chilled to make it even worse. That’s just laziness and disgusting. Tables are always filthy and half assed wiped down. Time to find a new pizza and beer spot.

This round table has really bad service and is really expensive, don’t recommend for a night out, steve out

I love to go here because they have the best pizza, but the service suxs and the pizza to way to expensive.

I love all there different types of pizza & service there is Awesome! All the other reviews are *ullshit!!!

Just tried to order a large King Arthur. He said that will be $ 27. $ 27!!! No thanks I said.

On our receipt it says Axell R. took our order. She was beyond rude. Not to mention she violated MANY Basic Health Food Regulations. First, she had an attitude and was not paying attention. I had to repeat my simple order to her THREE times. She was chewing gum with her mouth open while taking our order (Violation #1 [136a CRITICAL]: NO CHEWING GUM ALLOWED). Her hair was a hot mess and all over the place not wearing a hat or visor (Violation #2 [138 NC]: Hair must be properly restrained). The associates received a phone call, another associate answered, and Axell interrupted our order to asked the other associate «Who was that» the other associate replied and said «Amber is going to be late, and doesnt know what time she will be in.» Axell then rolled her eyes as we were standing there waiting to complete our order. We sat down again. Didn’t mind waiting. until we saw the table behind us receive their food first. We again, order a simple pepperoni pizza, and the customer after us ordered more complex pizzas. We went to sit directly in front of the cashier and waited. No one noticed we were still waiting. Then I noticed Axell going to grab water and drinking it without lid or straw (Violation #3 [136b CRITICAL]: employees cups must have lids and straws). After 45 minutes again, we finally received our simple order. We were beyond upset that this is how Round Table allows their employees to represent their company. I will be filing a complaint with the DHEC to report the violations I saw.

Not even worth a star. Discovered brush bristles in the pizza and received a nonchalant explanation that it was from the pizza brush and usually people think it’s hair! Thanks for letting us know it’s happened before and you consider hair or bristles as a topping. Got my $ back and will never step foot in there again.

This Round Table is in bad shape. I should have looked at the restroom before ordering. They offer a lunch buffet for 7.99. It’s bad, to say the least. What I don’t understand is, how can they ask you to pay $ 16.99 for a small, single topping pizza?
That’s just wrong. How about a lunch special rather than a buffet of bad food?

Not even worth the 1 star. Service and cleanliness VERY disappointing. Ordered a medium 2 topping and an order of buffalo wings took over an hour in a half. Management was no help. Tables not cleared and no ice in the soda machine after I told them. Don’t waste your time or $ here. Staff and management are incompetent.

Was a committed customer to this place. As time goes by the quality is cheap less toppings really greasy and salty. And yet prices seem to get higher. Salad bar doesn’t look fresh! Staff keeps changing, no one smiles as if they don’t care to be apart of this company, they are just their for the paycheck. Tables stay dirty while staff is chatting and restrooms are sick. No last honest pizza at this location. If I can give zero stars I would to poor management at this location.

Just read all the negative reviews about Round Table Pizza in Monrovia. My own experience is positive. They have my favorite pizza of all the pizza chains. A large Wombo Combo regular crust! My wife and I get it about twice a month. So delicious! All I add to it is a little Tajin (which I put on most of my food). The current promotion is Monday Madness which is ½ price. They are expensive but I am willing to pay a little extra for that pizza!!! If you consider it gives us both 2 meals, its not really that expensive.

Terrible. Took an hour to get a pizza that wasn’t made to order and was cold! Never got our wings either. I love round table pizza but this place was awful. Never going again.

Round table has been at this location forever and never updated anything inside but always served a good pepperoni pizza, I hadn’t been in a long time because I had a better preference down the road in BJ’s restaurant but like all corporate business they go do something stupid and stop selling their best seller… Anyway back to old faithful Round Table, good pizza, cold beer but EXPENSIVE.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered online on a Sunday afternoon and was quoted 2:40 as pickup time. Got there at 2:45 and they told me it’d be another 10 minutes. I saw the cook put the pizza in the oven once I got there. Seriously? The place was dead other than a baseball team occupying the back room. How does this place stay in business? It’s old, dirty, run down, and has employees who look like they hate their lives. While I was waiting for my pizza, a little girl went up and asked the cashier to make change for a dollar. The cashier stated they had no change. How do you not have change when you have all of those games which require quarters? The look of disappointment on this little girl’s face was heartbreaking. Way to go, Monrovia RoundTable. Oh and if I’m paying $ 2.35 to add garlic onto a pizza, you could at least put more than a teaspoon over the whole pizza. Neeeever again. This place needs to go. Can we get a Shakey’s instead?

It took 2 hrs to get my food n when it finally arived it was not only cold but it was wrong never ordering from here again

Ordering online and ordering over the phone is completely bull to these guys. Twice in a roll where they actually don’t make it until you show up in the store and pay for it. So it’s been about an hour since I ordered my pizza online, and it’s been about forty minutes since my husband arrived at the store, and guess what, pizza still isn’t ready.
This will be the last time ordering from round table, for $ 40, I’m better off ordering pizza from a local pizzeria.

I have never had such a crappy experience, first of all, the pizza is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. Second whoever they have answering the phone at night, needs to learn how to prounounce prices correctly, I went to pick up 2 mediocre large pizzas thinking it would be 36 dollars, only to find out when I get there it was 56. 56 dollars for 2 pizzas. Worst customer service ive ever seen. The girl was on the phone and instead of saying hold on a minute, she just brushed us off. The cook stared at me, showed me the pizza and put it back. Thank you so much for showing me the pizza, and putting it back, I just showed up to look at it. Are you kidding me? Awful awful service. And the pizza isn’t even that good, not even for 36 dollars.

My favorite pizza place in the pizza world. Got to love round table pizza. They make delicious pizza dough, so crispy and delicious.
I ordered a personal pan pizza with pepperoni. And I paid for extra toppings, mushrooms. My favorite toppings, pepperoni and mushrooms. So, I opened he box to eat the pizza, to my surprise, there were hardly any toppings!!!
They are so cheap skate with the toppings.
Unacceptable!
When you’re paying for extra toppings. Smh.
Don’t come here. Go to either the one in Pasadena or somewhere else. No wonder there’s hardly anybody in that place.
