Jimmy John’s

I ate here in a pinch. Poor ingredients, flavorless vinaigrette and bread. It is worthwhile to go a little out of one’s way to patronize one of the non-​chains in Montclair such as Nicolo’s, Alan’s, Watchung or Nauna’s. The kids working here were very polite and cheerfully added more vinaigrette to my sandwich when I complained it was dry. However, I won’t return here.

A little pricey but still a good addition to the neighborhood. Still wish we had a Jersey Mike’s. They do fast delivery which is a big plus.

Just had my first sandwich there, a roast beef. Just 2 slices of roast beef, a meager amount of lettuce and tomatoes.
The bread was not bad at all.

Jimbo, you are on your game. You limit the options so we don’t have to think about what we want too much. We can just pick a number and move on. You train your staff so well, especially at this location, that sometimes your sub is ready by the time you fill your drink (or before). You make sure your employees know that being friendly is a huge win and they respond for you at this location — always smiling, helpful and working the quick assembly line so you are rarely waiting more than a couple minutes.
Your food is consistent and on point. The 8″ sub is the perfect and necessary agreement between 6″ (I’m still hungry) and 12″ (I shouldn’t knock this all down, but I will). For a quick sub chain, you can’t do much better. Even the way the store is set up is for the benefit of the customer ordering (all right above the register) and for the staff doing the work behind there (open space, but assembly sandwich design).
I have to say Jim, I don’t even care that the parking is horrific over there because if you had a lot I would show up every day instead of every other day and I’m not sure that would be a good thing. Actually the days I don’t show up it’s just because I couldn’t find a spot.

Ordered the #6 veggie wrap and #17 ultimate porker totally worth it. This place is clean, music is good, and the food is so fresh! Those guys need a tip jar, though, they were diligent and super friendly for a few young guys on a Saturday night! Will definitely return

I ordered two trays of sandwiches for a family party. They were as fresh as could be and ready to go at the agreed upon time. They also were packed perfectly which made it easy to carry. The staff was friendly and nice and the store was extremely clean. Would recommend 1000%!!! Ordered more trays for the groomsmen in a wedding party I was in. As usual the sandwiches were a hit! Jimmy Johns Montclair awesome as always! Staff is second to none!!!

I’ve been a fan of Jimmy Johns when I lived in Florida. You have to try their wheat bread. I usually get an Italian sandwich on wheat bread. that there is the bomb. They are on the pricier side but they deliver a good
Well they also deliver food as well… this is great if your at work and don’t have time to run out and grab something.

The place is very clean, the owner very friendly. What I like here is I get a consistent sandwich every time– and fresh bread.

I’m not sure if we were the first customers or what but everyone behind the counter was extremely friendly. We were greeted almost a dozen times. I suggest reading the menu before you get there because it’s super TINY. I ordered a #12 with bacon but they forgot the turkey so we had to come back. For what it is, it’s pretty good. Nothing like it in the area. Next time I’ll order extra meat.
