Can’t get enough of there food. The last time we came here by son’s & my wife and I had a great time here. I recommend this place to everyone.

Slow service! Rude workers that don’t apologize! Need to tell 3 different workers that we are ready to order but they say in a minute. We were there at 11:30am and didn’t get the food until almost 12:15. People who arrived after us got their food first. They just ignore customers like they don’t exist. The girl that worked there just rolls her eyes when you ask where’s our food. Not a very friendly place. The food is good but probably won’t be back. And the other workers just grin knowing we aren’t being served yet. Of course they blame it on the kitchen. But at least let us know the status of our order. The workers look at their cell phones constantly and have the music blasting loud like if they were at the club. We left and packed the food to go. It lost our appetite waiting and waiting with no apologies.

Two stars because the food pretty good but –3 stars because the customer service is abysmal.

I am a frequent customer to this place, and I definitely do not come here for the customer service. They are pretty slow and the stuck up girl with a ponytail that is always there never smiles at anyone and it seems like you’re annoying her with everything you ask for. However, my visit yesterday takes the cake, or Mochi, in this case. My sister and i came last night around 9:30, upon looking on Unilocal to see what time they closed(10:30). After sitting down they inform us that they are out of edamame. Ok no big deal. We each order 1 roll, and decide that we see how it goes. After our food is delivered, they tell us that they’re doing last call on food. It’s 9:50 at this point. Ok no biggie so we glance at the menu again to hurry and order before they close the kitchen. No sooner do they douse the kitchen floors with Pinesol. There’s no doors to the kitchen so the smell overpowers the restaurant. So bad that I could taste Pinesol in my mouth. I understand trying to get out of work early and get your side duties finished quickly, but I felt this to be extremely rude and disgusting. I immediately jump up and ask for the check and let them know why we’re leaving. I ask to speak to the manager, whom of course was not there, so I pay the check and we leave. I will likely be eating my sushi elsewhere from now on. Which is a shame because the rolls are usually tasty here and the beer is cheap. But so is the quality of service, and as someone in the service industry, I know what to expect. Farewell Sushi Mora

I was having lunch on Saturday afternoon by myself in my neighborhood. Upon arrival I was asked what I wanted to drink. I said hot tea. O was informed that the restaurant didn’t have hot tea as they had fun out on Friday night. Who runs out of hot tea in a Japanese Restaurant My seond choice was water. I was served warm water no ice. It will be awhile before I return to this restaurant.

I’ve only made one visit here to date, but so far … not too shabby! The seats are quite comfortable, the service seems pretty solid, and there’s plenty of parking space available. The calamari tempura roll I ordered was pretty good. I would definitely be open to returning here and sampling more of their menu, which looked quite promising.

This place isn’t a real sushi spot. You can tell by the rice in the sushi and the freshness of the fish(or lack there of). The rolls were tolerable but not great. Maybe the other food is good because the place was packed.

This place is okay but I felt bad took my coworkers here for our lunch break their 1st time. And our service suck big time we wasted our whole lunch time they took forever to bring our drinks than to bring our order said we will just take to go the girl never came back with our containers. We had to go pay at the register and ask for boxes for our food. We work across the street and we had to eat at the office in between our patients. When we got to the office they messed up one of my coworkers order.

I was hopeful about this place but it was just okay, and yes, I’ve had better. It came to around $ 30 for two $ 9.50-$ 9.95 lunch specials(choice of 2 – 3 different items), a salmon roll, and a Sapporo. Service was lackluster and they forgot a drink we ordered but luckily it wasnt on the bill anyway.

Their rolls are pretty good, good price. It was a really good place when it first opened, but now it seems quality and everything’s gone down. But it’s still decent. I remember when it opened, we went a lot. Now we only go so often. I remember one time, we got a free specialty from the kitchen, something the chef was making up. It was delicious. Sadly no name, chefs special.

I wanted to like this place but it was a total fail, I came here to meet an old friend but all I got was an old rainbow roll with no avocado! I could’ve been forgiving but I wasn’t even notified they just served it to me as if nothing was missing. The fish on my rolls look grey, I really hope I don’t get sick please take a look at the ugly sushi I was served. Also the waiters were not attentive at all!

Another great japanese retaurant in Montebello area. High quality sushi with reasonable price. Highly recommend their spicy rainbows roll. Dynamite roll was great as well. Waitress was very friendly and the foods were served very quick. Will definitely come back to this price.

So… I’m not super sure what I should do– start dancing to EDM they are playing here or just focus on my food. Heck I’ll do both why not. Food is great and fast and fresh. Eh just come and check it out, will leave it up to you to agree or disagree. Happy eating(and head banging)

I would say I’m kinda a regular and live to go with my friends here when I have the chance. The food is amazing in not only taste but presentation as well. The wait is not long and the service is incredible. I can watch the games and have a cold one right next door to my house with the company of my friends. The price is unbelievably amazing and the food fills you up. The portions are a good serving and as always taste great. The restaurant itself may be small but that gives it a homely feel to it and is not to big where the servers are to busy and take forever to get to you. Service is fast and amazing. Fish is fresh and always ready to eat. If I can give this place a higher rating I would but sadly I can only give a 5⁄5. Keep it up guys your doing great.

So much food for such a small price! Food was great, service was great, I’m honestly surprised this place wasn’t packed! Great place to hang out with friends and drink a pitcher of beer :) Can’t wait to come back and try everything else on their menu! Definitely will be telling everyone about this awesome place!

Honestly, I wouldn’t expect much from a sushi place in montebello. Compared to other sushi places I’ve been too this isn’t the worst but not the best, thus 3 stars. We sat in the patio area, edamame was served with three plates for two people. Assuming the extra plate was for the shells. Usually it would be a bowl since it overflows. BTW they were a little overcooked and old, sat there for a while. The service was prompt and friendly but its like they were not ready. I had to ask for soy sauce, trays, wasabi, and ginger separately — I wasn’t offered. I don’t mean to sound rude but its usually already a given, given that we just ordered 8 rolls. As for food, everything is just«meh» the ones that stood out to me the most is the dynamite roll(which comes a little damp topped with mussels, scallops, and mushrooms), and the Freddy cougar roll(which comes with albacore, jalepeno, and a sweet&spicy sauce– for spicy lovers). Both were $ 9.95. We also ordered the Cali roll, spicy tuna, Philadelphia roll, eastern philadelphia roll, crunchy shrimp tempera roll, and the salmon skin roll. They were pretty cheap and are 50% off right now. – So the Cali & spicy tuna was about $ 3.50. The Philadelphia roll was about $ 4.30 and the eastern Philadelphia roll was about $ 5.50. Honestly — they taste the same, forgot what the difference was but not worth the extra buck. Everything else is just to get full and nothing special. The shrimp tempera crunch was alright, pretty generic and the salmon skin wasn’t anything special — def had better. (full disclosure: I estimated the prices, the cents may be off so don’t take my word for the exact price) Overall, I was only here to meet with a friend that lived nearby, wouldn’t come back if I had a choice but I do appreciate the low carb section which is cucumber or radish in place of rice. Too bad the good ones were about $ 9.95 and look small.

My fiancée wanted sushi so we came to this spot. Walked in and got seated right away. As we sat at our table I stepped on some food that was left underneath the table. We had to get the waiter to clean it up. We then ordered spicy tuna roll, a smoked salmon roll, and two other specialty rolls. We also ordered some sashimi. To drink we had two beers. Once the roles came out I noticed they were small rolls and was a little disappointed. The spicy tuna was ok a little spicy but also a little fishier then usual. The special rolls were good and tasty. I might give this spot another chance when wanting to eat some sushi.

Oooooooooh k… here I go again. My wife n I enjoy our nights out together. So this past tuesday we tried this Sushi Moora. Looked ok from the outside and the inside was the same. Nothing popped out for attention. There were plenty of tables open and only 4 other people there. We waited 12 minutes before being seated. That should have been the first sign. We were seated in a dirty booth, after cleaning out take I excused myself to the RR. Wow, this was bad. The toilet was clogged with shit n toilet paper. Horrible. Coming back I noticed we were served water in dirty glasses. What ever. I ordered a bento box n my wife some sashimi. My sesame chicken was fried. WTF? I’ve never had fried sesame teriyaki chicken at a sushi place. My wife’s food was horribly wrapped and the entire presentation was horrible. The waitress came back asking how’s everything? I looked at her askinging for the bill. She came back with a $ 57 bill. HEEEELLLLLLNO. I’ve had it. I told her I was only leaving$ 15 because the food was horrible, my table was dirty, water glasses the same, food had no taste and she had charged us for 2 beers we never ordered. Bad service and worse food. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Perhaps it was only this one time for me, but that’s all it takes.
