the first time I came to Kelly’s Bakery I was 9 years old. I lived a few blocks away and my mom would always order the fruit tarts. Now as an adult I have made it a family tradition to buy deserts from Kelly’s Bakery for every occasion. They still have the same excellent customer service. Amazing deserts and meat pies! I wish this company the best in the future and many more years of business to come.

The last time I was in Kelley’s Bakery was many years ago. During my most recent visit, it seemed very similar to Cream Pan in Orange County and 85 Degrees, but on a smaller scale. I overheard a customer asking if they were under new ownership and the cashier confirmed that they were. As I was perusing through the glass case, the girl behind the counter raved about the strawberry croissants and informed me that they were their best sellers. They look just like Cream Pan’s! I picked up a few along with the individual fruit tarts. If you want their various breads, the set up is just like 85 Degrees– it’s self-serve where you pick up a tray and pair of tongs. I like their mini fruit tarts, but they’re almost a dollar each which a little high in my opinion. Overall and okay place to pick up some sweets.

Thought it was an Asian style bakery but it’s not really or at least not any more. There are still a few things that are Chinese but no Chinese signage or employees. The fruit tarts are good but the bakery seems to be trying to play up their $ 4+ drinks. Also the free samples attract a lot of freeloaders who block up the aisles and the traffic flow just seems chaotic.

I would always go as a child and git a tart. They are great with already made pastries. I just didn’t like how I ordered a cake and discussed all the details the day I ordered but the day I gotta the cake it did not look the same and I had to pay for it cuz it was too late for anything else

So I just recently came back to store, it’s been a while. They changed their way of picking some of their goods. They started having the option to have a tray where you can grab what you want with tongs similar to how 85 degrees bakery does it. I also notice they have more desserts and food, it’s been under new management for a while now. Friendly service and plenty of parking! Also a great place to keep you full for class or for the day. Prices are relatively cheap. Would come back for more!

I’m a little disappointed. Quality went down especially with service. I went in to buy a cake and asked the employee what was in the cake. She told me mixed fruits. I asked her to explain and she mentioned a few. I took it home and it was only peaches inside(tasted like canned). The cake overall had too much cream and tasted a little bland. Also, as she was writing, I noticed the penmanship was sloppy so I asked the other employee to rewrite it. I received a free cream puff for checking in and it was not to my liking. The puff was very soggy. Also, prices went up at least $ 1 – 3. This is the place I’ve been buying my cakes for a long time. It’s going through some changes right now so hopefully quality and service will step up soon again.

Stopped by to grab a snack and breakfast for the next day. Decent variety but avg ~50cents more than the average bakery for mediocre quality. pineapple bun $ 1.70 and sausage bun was around there too. Not bad. Standard.

They have really yummy sweet strawberry tarts! And have really cheap hot dogs and other tasty treats that’s affordable for college students but they don’t have the friendliest staff. There’s this older Mexican woman whose worked there for a long time whose really rude. Another worker who was new and sweet wasn’t even finished ringing me up and that older woman took the next cyst me and was just VERYRUDE! She should smile and seem happy she has a job

The pastries here are very good and it seems like they have remodeled. It looks very modern, very bright. They have a nice choice in pastries and very pretty cakes.

I’ve been buying cakes and desserts from Kelley’s bakery for over 10 years! I’m so glad that it’s still around. Their chocolate banana cake is to die for, I promise you. But if you’re not feeling adventurous, strawberry is always a great go to. I always find myself grabbing the cream puffs and little fruit tarts just for a little treat to myself. I love that Kelley’s is still around and still providing delicious sweets that bring me back to my childhood.

They seemed to have cut back on the inventory. They used to have hot dog croissants, ham and cheese croissants, and other similar on the go meals. Maybe they were just out today, but it seemed bare bones for Kelly’s. They usually have a lot more on offer. I was there about noon, not late at night close to closing time, so there should have been a better selection. There’s nothing in the window. If they put some of their most attractive pastries of which they have plenty on display in the window facing outside I’m sure they could double their business.

I ordered a mickey mouse cake in advance and I was very disappointed with the writing. It was so embarrassing that the picture I posted is the only picture I have of it. I was expecting to see nice writing like in the pic they showed me because they never mentioned that they could not do that writing when I mentioned that I wanted it the same. Taste was good but presentation is also important

I’ve been coming to Kelley’s bakery for over 15 years, and their custard/cream puffs, fruit tarts, and turkey pies are still my favorite things to get here! The custard and creams puff are pretty standard, but they fill them generously and they come in mini and regular sizes. The custard is drizzled with chocolate and the cream is dusted with powdered sugar. Similarly, the fruit tarts come in mini and regular sizes, except they only offer the strawberry tart in the regular size. Fruit options include: strawberry, kiwi, blueberry, pineapple(fave), peach, cantaloupe and honeydew. The turkey pot pie is about the size of my palm, and is delicious little snack, or lunch(if you get two!). The crust is always perfectly buttery and flaky with turkey and veggies inside. These items all range in price from 75 cents to three dollars(give or take 50 cents). Kelley’s also serves other items such as hot dogs, pork buns, pineapple buns, cookies, danishes, cakes, etc… but the above items are my go-tos and I rarely get anything other than those three items. TL;DR: I’m a 15+ year patron to this place, and I still love their custard/cream puffs, fruit tarts, and turkey pies. Sometimes, you just have to stick with what you know(& like).

solid selection, some refreshing items like the double-flavored macaroons. I had an almond danish and it was fabulous. Macaroon a little too rich/sweet, but worth the $ 1.65. Nice service, obviously hard-working staff, imagine if they had an espresso machine and a little more inviting décor.

I like the fruit tarts, puffs and fruit pies. They’re great! But the service could be better. The old, short-haired Asian lady is really bad. She is the owner. She’s very argumentative and aggressive. The other reviewers point out how terrible she is. She even rubs off on 1 of her other employees. The skinny Latin girl. She was sweet as pie when I first went in there but now she turned into a sour old Asian lady. It’s too bad because I want to give them 5 stars.

3.5 stars While searching for desserts to bring in for work, I found Kelley’s Bakery and was intrigued by the little mini fruit tarts. I stopped by around 5:15pm on a Tuesday praying there would be fruit tarts left since it was nearing towards the end of the day. Lucky for me there was! Strawberry and blueberry are $ 0.90 a piece. Cantaloupe, melon, kiwi, pineapple, peach are $ 0.85 cents. When i initially walked in, an older lady(who i’m assuming is the owner) greeted me while she was helping someone else. Another customer walks in after — I was browsing to see what was available and the employee never asked if I was ready. She went along to help the other customer. Another customer walks in, she asks«are you ready?» I assume she’s speaking to me but when both me and the other customer respond, she puts her hand up to me and tells me to hold on and helps the other guy! Seriously!!! Kelley’s Bakery is located in the same plaza as Daiso. I don’t know anywhere else that sells these little fruit tarts so I’d come back for these but don’t expect great service.
