Best drinks in Monterey, knowledgeable bartenders, beautiful atmosphere, fantastic live music, fun people and amazing service. Worth the price!!! We will come back for sure.

Stopped here for breakfast and it was delicious! I ordered the traditional style eggs Benedict which is the version with Canadian bacon instead of the smoked salmon. It was the best I’ve had. The English muffin was toasted perfectly and not too hard and super crispy like other places I’ve tried. I also tried their buttermilk pancakes and they were super fluffy, soft, and delicious as well. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because they charged $ 10 extra for the fruit on the pancakes, which I never asked for and was never given a choice of having the fruit or not by the waiter.

We came yesterday for Mother’s Day Brunch. It was the most anticipated time that I’ve been waiting for weeks. We stayed at Intercontinental as well to make it easier for us just to come down, in fact we were half an hour early. The ambience was good, the food selection was great. Tried the sweet ham, tenderloin, mushroom soup, omelette station, everything was perfect. Then we tried the seafood station. Tried the shrimp, oyster. Oh my God. The shrimp was foul, the color of the shrimp itself was even not fresh anymore, yes you could tell by sight and smell. Husband ate once, and he had to vomit it. The oysters were slimy. I ate about 4 – 5 shrimp, and few oysters. Learned my lesson very fast though, about 30 minutes after I had(apologize for TMI) runny diarrhea, and boy it didn’t stop at the hotel. We checked out after that, and later that night, I still had cramps, and diarrhea at home. Took TUMS, and good thing they worked fast. The only thing that bothers me was the look from the waitress after we told her about their bad quality of seafood. She looked at us as if we made up the whole scenario as if we needed for discount. The manager did give us 25% discount, but that’s not what we wanted. Nobody wants food poisoning just for the sake of getting thirty bucks discount. At least not us. I’m a mother with a toddler, and a baby that I still breastfeed, there’s no way I want all this predicament just for the sake of discount. The night before, we even spent more money at The Sardine Factory, we didn’t mind since the food and service was mind blowing. We still left good tip for them though, because they were polite, they gave what we asked for, and the made great drinks. So, reading Noelle’s review below me was no joke. I should have trusted her review before I made my decision going to C restaurant. All the cooked food was great, only the seafood that was unsatisfactory. However, my review here is honest, and I want to remind everybody who’s planning to eat here to be careful what you’re gonna order. Or else, you will end up with food poisoning.

Just had an amazing time. Euclidean is the best. Made Mother’s Day a treat for our family. Hadn’t wanted to do a big meal and weren’t up for the buffet. Euclidean was very accommodating and went above and beyond. We’ll keep coming back.

The only time I ever give 5 stars is when I’ve been to an establishment multiple times to be impressed with absolute perfection each time. In this case, I’m even more confident in awarding 5 stars because I feel that any negative reviews of this restaurant were either experienced on a very off day, or written by folks who just can’t be pleased unless they’re getting their balls tickled by the staff while they eat. We’ve become regulars here. The service has been exceptional every time. The live music is fantastic. The atmosphere is stunning, and the food is absolutely delicious. This is not a budget restaurant, so no complaining about price. You come here to splurge, and the staff is well versed in helping you do so.

No no no. Worst clam chowder I have ever had. It was gritty and lukewarm. Crab salad was mediocre I’ve had crab feeds and expected it to be just as fresh being in Monterey .nope! Service was great though. Prices are high.

First morning with the family for this trip to Monterey and we wanted to have a good heavy breakfast before we spend the whole day inside the aquarium, which is only a hop, skip and jump away. The C is found at the ground level of the InterContinental The Clement Monterey Hotel. There was no line to get seated because aside from us, there was only one other party present at the time. This was great because we got window seats which has a view of the beautiful Monterey Bay. The Clement Eggs Benedict Their regular eggs benedict has Canadian bacon, or what I call ham, while this one has smoked salmon instead. Very very good. Their hollandaise sauce is awesome. Belgian Waffle Comes with berries and cream. Yummy! The C Omelet This was full of good stuff. Each ingredient was cooked perfectly. Not one is burned or raw. Parking… well, we came really early. There are plenty of metered parking on the street but since we were planning on going to the aquarium, we parked at the lot at the south side of Cannery Row.

Breakfast was perfect and delicious. The serving sizes were not too much, but just right. I love it when I go somewhere and do not need to add any spices or seasoning(no salt, pepper or even syrup was needed. The view was amazing and the ambiance was airy and on point. The presentation of the food was beautiful and appetizing. Service was very attentive, informative when solicited and warm. Management is doing something right. I love it when I can just write positive notes on a restaurant. Good job! If we had been in town for longer, we would’ve gone again and again.

Loved this place while staying for two nights in our suite at the hotel :) :) We ate here for both breakfast & dinner each day.(Plus room service!) Everything was delish. The best desserts and port selection in the evening, the most amazing breakfast options and a beautiful view to go with it. I really thought the manager and the wait staff were awesome. Really friendly folks and super professional. I can’t wait to return!

We stayed at the hotel a few days and dined her for lunch and dinner. Parking could be a problem if you weren’t staying here. I’d recommend you valet park here. The restaurant has an outstanding view of the bay. The food was awesome every time we ate here. The staff was always prompt and friendly. The menu was a bit pricey but that’s to be expected being your dining at probably the best hotel in Cannery Row. My only negative about this place was that it is kind of plain. I think with a little decorating the place could feel a little more intimate.

I’ve been to this place many times when in Monterey and was always pretty pleased. The service is good, the food is tasty, and it’s a good location. I happened to be in Monterey on a holiday and everything had huge lines. Even the to-go clam chowder line next door seemed to have an hour wait. We popped in to C, saw a table in the bar area, and sat down. Granted you can’t order off of their full menu, but the bar menu had enough to keep us going!

Lunch on the patio outside, just do it! Loved the fact that the ocean was under us, the waves were crashing. Love the valet complimentary validation. Been here for breakfast as well. They have one of the longest happy hours and the dinner views are just something else. The view from the restaurant is epic.

This restaurant & bar is in the InterContinental Hotel. It is fancy, just like the hotel! They belong together! LOL We got a congratulatory card from the Concierge which included a complimentary dessert from this place for our Anniversary. It was in our room when we checked-in to our Hotel room. It was a very nice, yet simple touch! We didn’t want to waste it and we are so utterly happy we used it! This restaurant looks modern yet you can have a cozy & intimate dining experience here if you opted to. There is seating with views of the ocean and it was recommended to dine early so you can nab one of those tables. The bar drinks are super expensive and the service was alright. Not overly impressed, but we hung out together and enjoyed each other’s company. Bar rating? 3 stars. While we didn’t dine here, we did visit the bar a couple times and ordered our complimentary dessert. We looked over the dessert menu which had 7 items including a cheese plate on it. Our waitress recommended the Chocolate Budino, and after checking out our options, we decided to go with her suggestion. It was the best choice ever! This Chocolate Budino consists of: Valrhona Chocolate, Butterscotch, Chocolate Soil, Maldon. I have no idea exactly what most of those items are, but I do know that it was an excellently comprised dessert! It was super rich, but for once, that didn’t stop us from devouring the whole thing! Rating? 5 star dessert!!! If, for nothing else, we would definitely come back for just this one dessert and maybe a cup of coffee!

Stayed at the Intercontinental for a night while visiting Monterey and booked the breakfast package which gave us a $ 50 voucher to use at the C Restaurant. We were seated in a nice booth facing the bay and the restaurant was super nice and upscale. Hot coffee pot left at the table and water available by request. I ordered the Croissant Stuffed French Toast — a totally different taste than what I was expecting. I was expecting something more along the lines of a cronut… flaky layers that are croissant like and stuffed with some filling. Turned out to be croissants treated like your usual brioche-battered and served with cream and fresh berries. It was good but a little too soggy for my liking. The berries were in some kind of glaze/juice so they weren’t as «fresh» as I wanted them to be. Husband had the Huevos Rancheros de Marisco with lump pieces of crab and shrimp. Portion was on the bigger side for him but managed to eat most of it. Service was good as well! We also had a drink after dinner on the first night we stayed. Had the Pear-fect Every Time, trying to get something sweet after a huge meal but actually was a lot stronger than I thought. The bartender was nice, attentive and friendly… they had a lot of other drinks we would’ve liked to try, but opted for one and enjoyed our evening on the pier instead.

We stayed at the Intercontinental hotel and this place was perfect to get an appetizer and drink before hitting Cannery Row. We ordered the GranAn made in a perfect tall coupe glass(which is the most gorgeous glass ever!) and it was spicy and sweet. You cannot taste the gin which made it even better. We had the calamari which was yum, covered in fresh Parmesan cheese! Next time we stay at the hotel we will back for sure!

This place is by the aquarium. With that said we were walking around with our two labs and there didn’t seem like to many, if any places to eat which were dog friendly. This place is super upscale and top notch, and they let us bring our dogs on to their patio to eat for lunch. While we were eating there was a musician playing live really good music which was awesome and the servers and staff were very attentive to us. Thank you! The place is right on the water with a stunning view so I’d have to say this was awesome. My wife got the fish tacos and was happy with them. I got the calamari for a starter, it was a little to greasy for me but it was still very good. My main course was the chiopino and it was really really tasty. I also got two coffee beverages, a double espresso which was very good and a mocha which I would NOT recommend. The mocha just wasn’t good,(I am picky with coffee/espresso based drinks). My only other complaint is that the menu is very limited but in talking to the server he was willing to adjust items as we wanted. IE my wife got the fish tacos with chicken instead of fish, lol. Overall I would suggest this place to others especially if you have a dog.

We stumbled upon this gem while walking down cannery row and after Bubba gumps quoted us a 1 hour wait time. As one other reviewer said it was a stress free meal with four kids and an infant in our party. They were super accomodating and gave us a semi private section of the restaurant. We had a great view of the ocean. Their restrooms were nice and clean. We checked in on Unilocal and got a complimentary calamari which was really yummy… the sliced battered lemons really added a nice flavor to the dish, same with the green beans. The kids smoothies were delicious and the portions for the kids meals were generous. I ordered the steak frites and unfortunately that was the least favorite dish and the most expensive(why they lost a star). The steak was very chewy and just not that great :/the salad that came with it was super tasty though also the fingerling potatoes were yummy. My husband got the steak sandwich and we really enjoyed that one and again the salad was very good! My brother got the artic char which was surprisingly super yummy and not fishy. Definitely worth trying especially with kids, easy access to the deck as well.

We came here on two occasions — one to enjoy the champagne tasting at happy hour, and the other to redeem our complimentary anniversary dessert offered by the Clement. Omg, the champagne tasting — what a lovely treat! We sat overlooking the water while enjoying the champagne and strawberries. At happy hour, the champagne flight is only $ 11 — such a steal for four 2 oz. glasses of delicious sparkling wine(see pic). I selected the International Sparkling flight(which technically includes only one champagne) and just loved it. Having been to Schramsberg, I would recommend trying their sparkling flight as well(it just isn’t half price at happy hour). C Restaurant & Bar has a great happy hour menu(see pic) and although the food prices don’t really compete with several of its neighbors, the sparkling wine flight is well worth it if you’re a bubbly lover. Our beer and champagne tasting with bay & sea otter views cost us $ 15.76 — and we never had to leave our hotel. Heyo. So after our dinner at il vecchio, we decided to redeem our anniversary dessert at C Bar. It was mostly empty in the bar on a Sunday night, but I found Cannery Row really empties out around 4:00pm on Sundays… I found it nicely quiet! The dessert menu has loads of options(see pic), but I really just wanted a hot fudge sundae, which was luckily on offer on the kids menu. It came with a brownie, fresh strawberries, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and sprinkles. A perfect portion for me, especially since I was pretty full from dinner. Service was great on both occasions, which isn’t surprising in an Intercon. If you’re staying here, I’d definitely recommend stopping in for a drink to enjoy the quiet bay views just off from the Cannery Row chaos.

I love it when fancy places like The C Restaurant have a good happy hour, because I get to enjoy the million dollar view & atmosphere for a cost that actually fits my grad student budget! Yuan C. and I found this place while wandering down Cannery Row. It’s located right next to Bubba Gump’s, definitely not difficult to find. For happy hour, they let you choose indoor high-chair seating or outdoor patio seating — we opted for the patio, of course! Their happy hour is Sun-Thurs 4−7pm. It has a decent amount of draft beers, a rotating cocktail or two, a sparkling flight, and a handful of appetizers, all offered at ½ off. – Big Blue Live Mojito(HH price $ 6.50) — Turned out to come in a super small glass that made me regret not ordering 2 beers for the same price instead. It was very sweet, which I don’t mind, but I think most people would find it excessive – Monterey Bay Calamari(HH price $ 7) — Definitely a bit too salty but the batter was very light, which I enjoyed. It has a bit of parmesan in it too, which is a nice touch! (*Sidenote: the waitress had me use the hotel’s restroom when I asked to be directed towards one, and let me tell you, it was TOPNOTCH. We’re talking cloth towels here… I’m a fan.) Overall, if I were ever back in the area during happy hour, I would consider coming back for the reasonable prices and generally high-end atmosphere.
