Took my wife kids during spring break order a couple of coffees and some cookies. My wife’s coffee as well as mine tasted like I it had been sitting on the warmer all day. If this place was supposed to be known for cookies I rather had a Miss. Fields. My wife says it was terrible… Don’t think we will coming back.

I come here because I love how sweet their hot chocolate is. Don’t come here if you’re looking for coffee, it’s basically boiled water. Also if you buy 5 cookies you get the 6th one free. Their cookies aren’t THE best. Not like the ones you get at an all organic bakery but, when you want a nice buttery chocolate chip cookie for kicks, this is the place where it’s at. Almost like a fast food restaurant for cookies.

It smelled like bathroom mop water. The guy was mopping the whole place when I went in and it smell like human feces & mold.

Skipped the cookies and just had ice cream cones. Nice service. The guy made a really nice ice cream cone. He actually took the time to stuff the ice cream into the base of the cone. Price was about $ 4 for a scoop including tax. +$ 0.60 for waffle cone. Waffle cone was hugely worth it because he fit more into the cone. It’s all Dryers ice cream.

Chain cookie place near Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row. The location was relatively clean for a high volume place. They also serve ice cream. The cookies were tasty and reasonably priced. Staff seemed like they were ready to go home because at 430PM they were almost out of inventory and did not look like they were going to put out any more cookies for the day. Still very satisfied.

We had just seen the Undercover Boss episode and thought we’d try it. Between the two of us, we ordered a peanut butter cup, chocolate chip cookie, white chocolate macadamia, double trouble and two small drinks to the tune of $ 18! The first white chocolate macadamia I got was literally raw. I took it back to the counter. She gave me another one and after one bite I quit eating it. My daughter’s chocolate chip cookie was overdone and tasteless and she didn’t finish it — and like all kids — she loves cookies. The small drinks were smaller than a kids drink! This place is an overpriced, tasteless joke. Obviously all they care about is raking tourists over the coals. The woman who helped up was rude and couldn’t care less about customer service. We certainly won’t be back here(we’re locals).

Oh my God, that may have been the worst chocolate chip cookie we ever ate! No one in my family liked it, from the adults to the kids. How can you make a cookie that kids don’t like? You’d be better off buying a package in the supermarket. And did I say as well, that it was overpriced and expensive nastiness?

Overpriced cookies loaded with butter and not even warm… Seriously, disappointing. Chocolate chip, snicker doodle and m&m cookies were just meh

Went in to buy some cookies for my kids. Did see any deals without a drink. I asked the girl if there was any deals? She said«yes, 5 for 5.» I agreed and kids picked out their cookies. She rang it up $ 10bucks… I told her you said it was«5×5»?? She said«No, I said«buy 5 get one free. Why would say 5×5? I told her«that’s not what you said.» «You didn’t ask for the price.» She said in a snotty attitude. Very unprofessional she didn’t apologize for her mistake. My husband was ready to give her a piece of his mind because he heard the conversation. Feel bad for All those tourists who have to put up with the shitty attitude of this place. Over priced cookies!

I expected a fun patisserie with exotic chocolate desserts. A bit disappointing. Mostly it just had cookies and ice cream. They were ok but not the best thing ever.

The cookies here were pretty meh. We got chocolate chip and they weren’t very chewy or tasty. I’m usually a fan but not sure if it was a poor batch or if the the recipe has changed. Maybe I can request them to warm it up next time. I wonder if they do that? It’s conveniently located on Cannery Row so if you’re craving milk and cookies, this would be your place.

We didn’t come here for the cookies because they have the same sickening smell like Mrs. Fields. We got ice cream instead. Nestle doesn’t make their own ice cream. They offer Dreyers. Nevertheless my mocha chip was delicious. There wss a line but I feel the servers really worked hard because we didn’t wait too long. Not bad.

Noelle’s Unilocal Notebook 2015 Nestle Toll House Café by Chip leads me to believe this place is a franchise. We arrived early in the morning only to have the smell of strong cleaning products make me turn out of the shop and come back later. After lunch at Cannery Pizza we came back, the odor of cleaning products was faint but not as strong as before. The shop was clean and the employees friendly. The couches in the sitting area were in terrible disrepair with rips and such. They had a decent amount of cookies behind the glass case. We purchased sicker doodle, chocolate chip, brown sugar with chocolate candies, white chocolate macadamia nuts. I did spy the clear plastic bags with frozen cookie dough. They basically place the frozen cookie dough onto baking sheets and bake it in a professional oven. The cookies didn’t taste very good– but when in Rome! Obviously, you could bake your own at home with the recipe on the back or buy frozen cookie dough. So what I thought was really odd was these freshly baked cookies tasted nothing like the Nestle Toll House cookie dough you buy at the market or the kind you make from the recipe on the back of the chocolate chips bag, they tasted like the worst kind of Nestle Toll House cookies imaginable. The customer service was good but the cookies were a waste of money. It would help if there was an air curtain or kept the doors shut as I saw flies inside the cookie shop. Noelle’s Notes Skip it

Best hot chocolate in town without a doubt with probably the best prices in town. Always enjoyed the fresh baked goods here. Fresh cookies. And great ice cream. This is a stop for chocolate lovers and a quick quenching of your thirst from a good walk up cannery row. Enjoy this place as I did.

What a beautiful café! Where can you go and get a Custom-Homemade Ice Cream Sandwich! Yeah! 2 cookies of my choice and a scoop of any ice cream that I want! I think so! Not to mention those cookies are fresh baked, all day with yummy Toll House Morsels! Nestle does it again! These cafes ROCK!

If for some reason you can’t ever get a chocolate chip cookie, might be worth a stop. I paid $ 5+ for an ice cream cookie sandwich and I’ve had just as good frozen from 7 – 11. Couple that with the two servers blaring(can’t think of a louder synonym) hard rock and playing air guitar before/after serving us… a terrible ambiance to sit and eat my cookie. Dare I say it got a little better when the hard rock ended and they switched to ESPN? My companion and I were the only two patrons, one look and you would not have picked either choice for our dining entertainment.

Seeing that Nestlé Toll House sign, REALLY just makes me start CRAVING warm ooey gooey chocolate chip cookies! Mnmm! What’s better than that? ICECREAMCOOKIESAMMIES!!! Luckily, they’re scoopin’ Dreyer’s ice cream inside for my tasting pleasure ;) Having powered up our jaunt through The Monterey Aquarium with a yummy cookie cool treat at Dippin’ Dots just down the way, it was time for a recharge after finishing the day there. Fortune shines on me cuz there are TWO eateries serving my fave cool treat close by ONTHESAMESTREET!!! So… taste test! No aroma of fresh baked cookies lingering when we enter. Chaps runnin’ the counter are distracted by the NFL Playoffs, so takes a bit before they greet us. I ask how fresh the cookies are and 20 minutes is the time given. Sounds good, so I’ll indulge in a lil somethin’… *ICECREAMSANDWICH: Lots of cookie options here. I chose walnut chocolate chip cookies and of the 16 Dreyer’s flavors, Mint Chocolate Chip appealed to me today. Sadly, the cookies were pretty hard and cold. Did NOT taste fresh outta the oven at all :(Yeah sure, cookies were baked 20 minutes ago. No offer to warm cookies either. Nice sized serving of ice cream, though. THIS is NESTLÉTOLLHOUSE!!! Old crunchy cookies is not what I’d expect to be served here. The cookies up the street @ Dippin’ Dots are outsourced from Pacific Cookie Co. INSANTACRUZ, and they taste fresher than here! Y’all are a COOKIESTORE, c’mon! Step up yur game!!!

This is the second time I’ve been here and both times it smells like bleach and chemicals. When I walk into Toll House my dream is to smell chocolate and or something delicious baking. Most of their said ‘delights’ appear stale and cold and they are unless you request them to warm it up(ugh). I’m done here.

We couldn’t resist coming here for some gooey toll house chocolate chips cookies with vanilla ice cream. Made a nice little ice cream sandwich for us. Of course there was a huge line & slow service due to the fact it’s conveniently located near the Monterey Bay Aquarium. So expect a ton of tourist. When it was our turn the service was very kind & patient. Oh how I crave their delicious cookies. The only unfortunate thing is I wish back home we still had this same shop open at the Americana.
