Ordered a pizza, gyro and free wings from a previous screw up. This time gyro meat isn’t even warm, fries are soggy and not even warm and no gyro sauce. Done with this crap hole of place. I really hope they go under or get cooks that can actually make edible food.

Been meaning to write this update for a long time now. They did replace their phone staff and I’ve been ordering for years. I’ve always loved Rosati’s and will continue to order from this one. Pizza has improved also. They had a rough go of it in the beginning, but, they worked it out. I’m glad I continued to give them chances, as, what would I do without a Rosati’s?

It’s a Friday night ritual for us to order pizza and have a movie night. We moved to Montgomery a little over a year ago and were excited to find a Roastis close by– as we came from Warrenville and ordered from the Rosatits when we lived there. The food was always good and the customer service was always great. After we started ordering from the montgomery location, we noticed many inconsistencies from week to week. One week the pizza would be perfect, the next week we would get it cold and the cheese rubbery. Not to mention whenever we order poppers we always ask for ranch in addition to the red sauce it comes with. Every time there was one sauce or the other– sometimes neither — but we always get charged for the extra sauce. One thing that has remained consistent with this place is how RUDE the girls are at the front desk. They never greet with a «hi» or «how are you?» Or «how can I help you?». It’s always«name?» With a look on their faces and a tone in their voice like they hate their job. There is no please or thank you or even a hint of a smile. If you pay with a card they swipe it and slap the slip on the counter«sign this». No «have a good night» — NOTHING. Being in the industry for many many years I know how dealing with the public can be — but part of your job is to put a smile on your face and treat guests with respect and courtesy. Because I understand, I always try to make sure to be extra nice — but even that doesn’t make a difference. They don’t care. I’m giving 3 stars because when the pizza is good it’s REALLY good — and if we opt to get delivery, every driver I have ever dealt with has been extremely pleasant. My suggestion is to do a major overhaul with the girls working the front. They need a major attitude adjustment and training in customer service. If you don’t like working with the public, find another job. A restaurant is not for you — just sayin.

This place is simple and affordable. It’s a nice standard hangout to grab a beer or something to eat. The food is very simple, pizza/pub food but good. The only thing I got here that was a disappointment was the gyros plate. The gyros is the boxed kind, not fresh kind and it was dry. They give you very little meat. Other than that, grab a pizza, a beer, some pasta and watch a game.

Great pizza at reasonable prices with fast friendly service. I eat here at least once a week and sometimes just stop for the slice of the day which is a great bargin and always good.

Poor customer service!!! It’s funny, before even ordering my pizza, I checked the Unilocal Reviews and many of the reviews stated how bad management was. I figured I just wanted to order 2 pizzas and wouldn’t have to deal w/management anyway. When I picked up my 2 pizzas I went in the car and made sure to check my pizzas before leaving. Well, one of them did not have ½ mushrooms & yet I was still charged for it. I went back inside and showed them the pizza and the receipt and they agreed that the mushrooms were not there. They asked if I wanted to wait for a new one, but I couldn’t and they asked if they could deliver a new one to me, but I live 30 minutes away. The girl got the mgr and he offered me a $ 5 credit for me to use when I return again. Ummm… I don’t think so. I want $$ taken off the pizza that you messed up! Looking at many of the other reviews, they mess up a lot of pizzas! Maybe you need to hire new cooks! He told me he couldn’t give me $$ back and that I would need to talk to his boss. Ok, let me talk to him. Ohhhh… of course, he’s not there now. Errr!!! A $ 5 credit when I return is worthless because I won’t be back! When he was trying to tell me «that’s all he can do,» I said that’s fine but to expect a review on Unilocal.I asked him if he has ever checked the Unilocal reviews. He said he hasn’t. I told him it might not be a bad idea because many of them state how bad the management is. In the end, after I did not back down on principle, he gave me $ 10 back reluctantly.(BTW, the pizza was not impressive at all. There are sooo many other better pizza places!!)

Used to be a fan, but not anymore. Rude management. We ordered a sausage calzone, but it unfortunately also contained mushrooms. I called Rosatis directly, but the manager told me he made calzone himself and it did not have mushrooms. He offered to make me a new one, but I did not want to drive all the way back for one calzone, making my family wait longer on dinner. They would not allow a credit for a future visit or a refund. I’m very upset at the way this location handled the situation, and I don’t believe I will return, especially after being told I was basically a liar. I don’t even care that they wouldn’t offer a credit… I don’t like being told I’m wrong when they made a mistake. Had my family not been crazy hungry, I would’ve gladly picked up a fresh calzone WITHOUT mushrooms, but the manager really upset me. Sharing my experience.

No, just no anymore. Gone with small children only to have patrons engage in yelling matches at the bar… twice. There is about an 80% of your food being messed up. I will say the establishment is very willing try to make things better with coupons or gift certificates. However, about the 4th or 5th time having stuff messed up it’s not worth it. I really wish this place would get better. So close to home and the potential for a great place. Love the one in Yorkville!

Is it just me, or did their pizza recipe change? I’ve been ordering here for the past 6 months or so, and I love their pizza. A lot better than other Rosatis locations. For some reason the past couple pizzas i ordered were not good though. What happened?

This Rosatis is the worst one I’ve been to customer service wise. I’ve been to the pub and had horrible service twice. I recently went in and ordered 2 beefs and cheese fries. Then proceeded to go to Walgreens and shop. Came back and the food wasn’t done. I asked the girl behind the counter to please check on our food. Her response was it takes 10 minutes to make the beefs. It was clearly longer than 10 minutes from when I placed my order. Got home and the cheese sauce cup wasn’t even half full. While we were waiting a customer came in and the girl behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge her.

Our favorite local place to go for pizza! Even though they have a bar a good suggestion would be a few kids games in back! Parents stay longer, kids are happier!

I’ve tried a lot of Rosati’s all over Illinois. This is the BEST and I repeat the BEST franchised location ever. Since I’ve had bad experiences at other Rosati’s I still decided to give them a try. And I have to say I’m not the least bit disappointed with their pizza. Always prompt and right on time service from deliveries to carry out. Their double crust pizza is definitely the best I’ve had. They do tend to obviously get busier on the weekends which will make delivery a little longer. So plan ahead.

Never say never. Wanted to go out for pizza Saturday night close to home. Though there is a place in town a bit closer the parking is difficult. So… we gave Rosati’s another try. The place was busy as the Blackhawks were playing. Pizza was much better than before. Finally like I expected. The potato skins were wonderful. A bit different from other places but that’s what made them so good. Though the manager says she’s been there since they opened I cannot believe she’s the same manager who was so aloof on our previous visits. She was very nice and stopped by our table. April, our server, was as good as it gets. She was very attentive and so personable. She is clearly an asset to the place. They also had live entertainment, a country duo, who despite having to compete with the Hawks game was very good. We will go back. Third time is a charm.

I really like the atmosphere of the pizza pub. The waitstaff is very friendly, and the bartenders are really knowledgeable. The pizza was phenomenal. I would definitely return!

This gets a good review because I am a fan of Rosati’s in general. The pizza I have gotten here at this location has been good. The store appears to be well run and the staff is friendly. Not bad overall.
