Westlake Village, CA
4.5 stars? Maybe for Simi/​Moorpark, but in Thousand Oaks/​Westlake Village area, I have 6 or more pizza places that are better. There’s nothing wonderful and amazing here, but it’s great for a baseball/​soccer/​football team celebration or a kids party.
Nice is the small salad bar. About 12 – 15 items of the basics, but super fresh. $ 4 will get you a small plate for one-​trip, $ 5 for a large plate. AYCE? No, but I asked.
Pizza is a little pricey. I got a Medium Everything for $ 17. While the crust, sausage, and mozzarella were subpar, the rest of toppings were amazing and very generous — you can really taste the quality and freshness. 12 or so beers on tap make this place a winner.
A solid 4.0 star performance, nearly a standing ovation. Used to be a Lamppost, and it still has a Lamppost/Shakey’s/Toppers feel. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, let’s just set expectations.

Amazing. Just absolutely amazing. Food is delicious and the owner is an absolute sweetheart. He brings in halal wings for customers that eat halal. Some of the best chicken wings I have ever had in my life. Service is nothing but the best. I will make sure to always be back and support this amazing restaurant.

My wife ordered a bbq pizza and a veggie pizza I am sad to say I could not eat one slice there pizza doe is low quality very plastic like I told my wife to call and complain she said I am just not gone go there anymore but I said they should learn that the main thing is a perfect doe I hate to say I had a better dominos pizza than this crap

This place is the best! I don’t understand why people always go to toppers in Simi Valley. I live in Simi and would rather drive here for Jax’s pizza. Soo good. I love there wings and salad bar! To die for! They have sandwiches and good beer.
Everything is super fresh and made perfectly to order. Will be a regular customer!

Great bbq pizza ! Family and I stopped in for dinner and the owner was there. He was very informative on all there food so we order Pizza pasta and a salad. Everything was exceptional and owner eve shared a few slices of his fiancée favorite pizza.

The service is phenomenal! They really appreciate their customers and you can feel it when you walk in the door. Pizza is some of the best I’ve tasted and it’s better than delivery! I would highly recommend to my friends.

We just had our Jax pizza delivered by the owner. Delicious pizza and wonderful service. The owner greeted us with a smile and was very courteous. Moorpark needs more great small businesses just like Jax Pizza! We will certainly be ordering from here again soon.

Im writing this review as i am drinkin a delicious 805 pint which only cost me $ 3.50 and it so happens to be wing Wednesday which make the wings almost seem free. i never mind going to mom and pop pizza parlors but jax seems to have everything i want. good food great service and friendly staff. i definitely recommend this place if you are anywhere close to here… did i mention the muggs are always frozen… makes the beer super cold… my type of spot…
Ps. The garlic sauce on a side of naked wings is the buisness

This place is great. Even though Moorpark has a million pizza places Jax is clean, great place for the family, pizza is great, and owners are so nice. My family and I have been going a couple times a month to watch football or baseball (yes even Dodgers) and today I took my staff there for a celebration. They couldn’t have been more accommodating! Will be back and my staff will be too!

Ordered ahead but wasn’t ready for dine in Maybe they wait for you to come in. First impression it has that «ripe» smell, ya know? I could post other irritants but should talk pizza. It was a solid two. Crust should be a little more cooked rather than floppy and to pay $ 2 extra for a teaspoon of onions and $ 2 for a T of mushrooms seems extreme. It was our first time but We agreed we won’t go back. Sauce was pretty good though. They need their sauce on Dans and I will be happy I think.

The best pizza in Moorpark. If you want pseudo-​exotic, overpriced flatbread by all means go to custom melts. If you want really good pizza, get Jax. My definition of good pizza is real, fresh mozzarella, fresh and tasty toppings, and tasty but not overly salted dough. Don’t think this means Jax only has simple pizza options, they have fantastic pesto and other non-​tomato sauce choices and creative and unique pizzas. To top it off, they’ve provided fantastic service every time we’ve used them. It’s the only place we order from, strongly recommended.
Oh and the wings are solid too!

We stopped in tonight on our way home from a road trip. The pizza was pretty good Loved the cheese, and the pepperoni was very flavorful. Service was friendly and fast.
The only downside is there were two sports related groups having a party, and the kids ran around screaming and yelling.
I’d recommend the staff to pay better attention to cleaning. The bathrooms were disgusting, and even the walls in the hallway were disgustingly dirty, so I knocked off a star.
If you live in the area, or happen to be passing through, give it try. Beats the well known chain pizza places in my opinion.

So if you live in Moorpark you know we have 100 pizza places out here… My Husband and I haven’t been thrilled with any of them so we deiced to try out Jax pizza. First of all, the staff was super sweet and the owner/​manager went out of his way to make sue we will fully taken care of while we waited for our food.
Got home and it was great! Loved their pizza and subs and will be back again for sure!

Best pizza in Moorpark hands down. Wings and meatballs are also great. Salad bar was a little meh (compared with Toppers at least) but it gets the job done.
Delivery is always fast and the food is always hot. These guys are my new go to.

Jax has easily become my new favorite pizza place. My buddies and I tried it out about a month after they took over the old Lamppost location and were really impressed with the quality of ingredients. The pizza is consistently delicious and the staff is always super friendly. We’ve been going/​ordering for delivery at least once every couple weeks since then.
One occasion that really put it over the top for me was when Tierra Rejada was closed down due to an accident one evening and the owner (who was delivering the pizza himself) called me to let me know about it and that he’d have to backtrack all the way around the other way. Once he arrived he refused any tip and kept apologizing for the delay. Loyalty earned.

The Wings, GET THE WINGS! with the hot sauce… oh man… I love them… i come just for those wings…
The pasta and pizza too are delicious. You will enjoy it.
