Papa John’s Pizza

5 Stars for caring and compassion. When the owner was asked to help a local family in need, he immediately ran over and purchased a huge box of food and snack items for the children. No questions asked! He also gave them coupons for free large pizzas. In a World where so many people can help the less fortunate but so few do, it was refreshing to find someone who jumped at the chance to reach out to a struggling young family! Thank you Papa John’s!

I ordered a pizza from papa johns of Moorpark today and can u believe it, there was no salt in the pizza. It was absolutely tasteless. This was the last time I ordered a papa johns pizza. Highly disappointing.

The pizza is not bad, although the clerks working the counter could use better customer service skills. I had a bad experience picking up some pizza and then got a nice follow up call from the supervisor. I wanted to find out when the owner would be there so I could share my customer experience but no one seems to know. I can always take my money to the competition who makes the same product and offers better service.

For superbowl, we decided to grab carryout at PJ’s. We placed our order online at around 6 pm and went to go pick up the pizza shortly after. Surprisingly, they weren’t that busy. but probably because the game was almost over by that time.
The staff at the store had such a nice and warm greeting and was very prompt in ringing me up and bring the food.
The pizza itself was delicious but a tad bit salty. We ordered the spicy sausage and pepperoni combo pizza and a chocolate chip cookie for $ 24 bucks. Kinda expensive for just two items, but nonetheless taste pretty good… especially with the garlic sauce!
I would definitely recommend picking up a pizza from here as opposed to delivery to save a couple bucks from the delivery fee and tip.

Service was great. Had it delivered. Sausage was terrible on the pizza. Other than that the rest of the pizza was pretty good.

They have pretty good specials and staff is always very friendly! They also delivered to my house many times and have always been within 30−40min of ordering.

i was contacted by the owner, he had left me a voicemail and sent me a letter with 3 complimentary pizza cards which I thought was a nice gesture. Unfortunately only 1 of the 3 cards actually worked, the other 2 were invalid. Oh well.

After not having papa johns pizza here In Moorpark for some time, they are finally back ! Let me tell you that the customer service here is wonderful! The employees are kind and very welcoming. I am very delighted how Taylor takes his time to please his customers! He even took the time to take my pizza outside to my car. The pizza was just perfect! I am extremely pleased with the food and service ! I will definitely be back.

I use to love Papa Johns Pizza. I recently moved to Camarillo from Valencia and Papa was a go to place for good yet fast and affordable Deals after a long work day. Never had a problem with any locations like I have with the Camarillo one. First let me say the 50% flier they mail to u only works on SOME of there food. No where does it say there is a Restriction. But I looked Past that and the first time I Ordered I got a person who barley spoke english taking my order. I tried and tried to bare with him but i had to speak with someone else. I got the Mngr on the phone who sounded like a young Kid. I placed my order and he forget to give me a total or the wait time so when Asked he said the amount and 15 mins. I live pretty close by to the store so I waited 5 mins and left my house. When I got there I noticed 2 other people Waiting for there pizzas. Around the 15 min mark I started to wonder where my pizza was and spoke up. I got told that the «oven was not working properly and my order has to be redone?! «what?! So by now I am pretty irritated. I wait about 10 mins and finally my order comes up. I ask does this thing usually happen at 5pm on a dinner rush? The mngr who looked to be about 18 said no and the temp was off. He did apologize and offer me a free 2 liter or bread sticks. I declined and wanted to go home to my hungry family. When I got home and looked at the pizza i noticed it was half cooked! I was so up set and apologized to the wifey and mother in Law that it took so long and now they have to eat Cold Pizza. I will not be returning to this Location. And if your Reading this John please do something about this overall. Toppers sounds good right about now!

Poor excuse for a pizza. Thankfully I used a 50% off coupon to lessen the blow. Doughy, flavorless and I have no idea what they use as «cheese».

Taylor is by far the friendliest person I’ve ever met! The pizza is awesome the service is always friendly and I can’t wait to go again

Ordered take out from papa johns again last night and was satisfied as always! We order quite frequently from this location and its always good! I actually didn’t care much for papa johns pizza before we started ordering from this one, but we ordered from them twice this weekend! Taylor usually takes our order and is always happy and willing to inform us of all the specials. He also went through the ingredients on some of the pizzas and offered his opinion of them. He went above and beyond this time and I had to update my review! This place never disappoints! we will certainly be back!

I am going to say, that I have ordered from this location over 4X, and today was the only day I had a problem… My delivery was about two hours late, and soggy by the time it got here. Now, had it not been for Taylor, I would not be going back here. With that being said, Taylor handled my problem professionally, and made up for the inconvenience of today’s lunch. It was for my coworkers birthday and she wanted pizza so it sucks that this happened today out of all days! But I will continue coming back here because Taylor gave me faith in this store. Thanks Taylor for handling everything for us!

I can not believe Papa John’s has been around since 1984 and this is the first time I have eaten it. Yes, I know there are tv commercial with famous football quarterbacks endorsements but I figured all chain pizza joints suck. We usually order pizza from independent true authentic pizza joint, except for tonight, we felt like having pizza delivered and we choice Papa John’s in Moorpark because they were rated 5 stars. To my surprise it was really good ingredients were fresh, nothing tasted «plastic» like most chain fast food places. I can truly say that, If I need pizza delivered again it will be Papa John’s …oh yeah! The price is very reasonable Thank You Papa Johns… Bravo Zulu…

I work for a school in Moorpark and our first experience with this Papa John’s was nothing less than exceptional. Staff (Taylor) was extremely helpful and courteous; a great example of top customer service! The pizza was great, ready on time and cooked as ordered. We will definitely reorder for our future events!

When I heard that the owner is a veteran who recently left the Marine Corps after several years of service I knew I wanted to check out his new store in Moorpark. On Wednesdays we buy lunch for our office folks and they aways like pizza.
We are located in Newbury Park but I had the office phone in our order and I picked it up and drove it back to the office. Like myself, a few of the folks at our office had never tried Papa John’s before. we were all very pleased.
So, check this place out. The owner is super friendly and very efficient. I know he will be a big success and this will be his «first» location.

I am not a fan of pizza. However, when I tried their Garden Fresh Pizza, one of their specialty pizzas, I became a fan of Papa John’s. Their customer service is also great.

Always can rely in Papa Johns for some great pizza!
