The pizza is OK, however the overall experience is what brings this review down to 1 star. The restaurant itself has a dirty feel to it. Dishes are not always as clean as they should be, and plastic utensils are cheap and easy to break. Men’s room is not clean and needs general maintenance. Owners are rude and stingy. With expensively priced pizza, simple requests like extra sauce or a side of ranch should be accommodated free of charge, but they expect you to pay for everything. There are plenty of tastier pizza places in town with friendlier owners.

This used to be one of my favorite places to get pizza from. I have not had it in a couple years and decided to go yesterday. When I got there it was dead(Sunday afternoon). We wanted to get ¼ of the pizza with no toppings for our children and they could not do that for whatever reason. It had to be an entire half… why cant you just estimate where a quarter is and not put toppings on, especially when you are not busy??? Anyway I will not be returning here. The bottom was very crunchy and hard to cut through with the lousy plastic utensils they had for us to use(no metal ones) the fork actually broke off into the pizza. Pluses for the place: — good amount of toppings –quick service(better be on a slow night) Negatives: –overpriced($ 30 for extra large supreme) wont make that mistake again. –quality is nothing to brag about.

This is really lame i have to complain about this(I truly RARELY complain) but its how I was talked to that really let me down. Where’s Undercover Boss when you really need them! Let me try to summarize — Picked up online pizza order — pizza should have had extra sauce, and bread sticks should have come with 2 sides of red sauce per my online order. Pointed out to female employee(perhaps co-owner or manager) of the 2 extra sauces. Employee then mentions the website promotion is wrong and I will only get 1 side of sauce at no charge. Then goes on to tell me its not her problem 8-O. Mcscuse me? I’m seriously not going to have this argument with you over sauces but if your margins are so low that you can’t honor the most inexpensive side due to what you claim is a corporate website error, I’m just going to pay for the extra sauces and go on my way. To add insult to injury — when I got to the office, the pizza itself also did NOT have extra sauce. That’s okay Round Table Moorpark — I’ve sent an email to corporate, I know they don’t control you — but I expect better behavior from an employee over a 75 cent side of sauce. You know what I do to my buyers in a home sales transaction when item’s that should have been left are taken or weren’t clearly identified in a contract? I do my best to compensate them within the law and my means to make them happy. Why? Because I’m honest and good customer service always leads to REPEATBUSINESS.

Salad bar was sad… I ask for a change in the lettuce something more fresh. It was disappointing to see what they changed it with. The price for all you can eat salad and pizza, wasn’t bad, $ 8.99. Downfall is that there isn’t much of a selection. So I guess you’re getting what you pay for. Or they can put more effort into making it better.

One of the WORST experiences I’ve had. I had company and we waited an HOUR for our pizza, when it finally came we were starving and we found hair in multiple slices of our pizza, not only on top but cooked inside the dough. We waited another 20 minutes for our new pizzas to arrive and when the owner came to deliver them I showed her the slices with hair and explained how upset we were for waiting so long to find hair in our food that we waited an hour for. Instead of apologizing she gave me attitude and was extremely rude. I will NEVER order pizza from them again and I will inform everyone I know of the experience we had.

I went there last. Weekend and have been going there for years and the commute is worth while, in my area there is a round table but it isn’t good at all compared to this one the dough is fresh, vegetables are fresh, they are not cheap in the form of adding toppings to the pizza. Happy hour is great on the beer. Very satisfied with the food overall. Great place to dine in watch sports or just tv and relax

All is well, I posted this review for the wrong Roundtable Pizza location. I’ve been to the Moorpark location and it’s the best one so far.

First off, the pizza rocks!!! I have been eating Round Table Pizza for most of my life and they do an awesome job. The owners are super cool and truly support our community. They have a great hidden gem, the Indian version of the Parmesan twist. It is amazing!!! It is not on the menu but you just have to ask for this delicious treat. I am not sure what they call it but I just ask for the Indian version of the twists. It is not for the faint of heart… there is definitely some spice and a kick. Round Table has been in our community for a number of years and I truly enjoy going there… just ordered again tonight. As far as some of the comments about the owners… you are terribly wrong. These are cool folks and work amazingly hard everyday. Please support Round Table and our friends at this location!!! Cheers

Last night we ordered a pizza from here and it was horrible. It took over an hour and it was cold and there was no white sauce on the pizza as stated in the description. Did I mention that they had a coupon in the mail, but the pizza was no deal since the charge a trip charge on top of everything. Will not go here again!

Stopped by for pizza and wings here. When walking in i was greeted by the manager and it was nice to be acknowledged by someone as you go in. I sat down and waited for the pizza to get there and i noticed how clean the place was. Its nice that this business still cares aboit cleanliness. The food was amazing. The wings were nice and crispy just like i ordered them. I will keep coming to this place every time i crave pizza or wings.

Took my family to this restaurant for pizza today and was greeted very kindly by the managers at this establishment. Let me begin by saying how clean this place is. We ordered 2 large pizzas and the lady at the register made a few recommendations of what she liked. We decided to order the meat lovers pizza, let me say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. My niece and nephews ordered wings and those are a must here. We really appreciated the customer service. They came to our table and checked on us and ask if we enjoyed our food. I don’t understand the false reviews below. My family and I will continue to come and enjoy this place.

I have to agree with most of the negative reviews. The pizza is excellent but the owners(particularly the lady) are rude and dismissive. I’ve been a customer for 20 years but I’m going to find other options.

I quite like the pizza, but the thought of giving the manager of this particular location any business is out of the question. Last night my wife phoned in with a coupon and asked to have the pizza delivered, since it was late and we had both worked a long day. When she finishes ordering, the guy on the phone tells her the coupon is for pickup only, even though it says directly on the coupon«For pickup, dine in, or delivery.» I decided to pick it up anyway and brought the coupon with me to show the manager, expecting at least an apology. I don’t think«I’m sorry» is in this troglodyte’s vocabulary. When I showed him what the coupon said, he literally looked me in the eye and shrugged. I shrugged back at him and asked, «That’s the best you can do? Shrug at me?» He then just turned and walked away. All this while his son watched, learning the ropes of customer service from Mr. Personality. Hopefully Round Table will give this guy’s franchise to someone that actually cares about his customers.

The pizza is great, but the owners are so rude and cheap it’s not worth it. The male owner especially is incredibly rude. Can’t say enough bad things about him. Save your money, support any other round table. The one thousand oaks is great! The one in simi is dirty. Moral of the story, don’t support this ass-hat.

Absolutely THEWORST customer service I have bee received! Have never been so respected in my life by someone who claims to be the ‘manager’. We received the wrong order and when we asked them to send another they absolutely refused and went on to tell us that I was wrong. When the manager(Paul?) finally brought the new pizza an HOUR later he proceeds to throw the wrong pizza on our floor!!! All because it had a couple bites out of it??? Sorry we were hungry and tired of waiting! SODISRESPECTFUL!!! The pizza was still wrong! NEVER eat here! The place is so unsanitary, your food comes out wrong, and they have the worst customer service

I have eaten here a few time over the years but never written a review for them. I looked them up here on Unilocal and find a lot of poor reviews… hum I said, we have always had a great experience here. Well I have been craving a King Arthur Supreme so lets give it a go. We ordered online and the website was very easy to maneuver. we picked out two pies, the King Arthur Supreme and a Montes all meat marvel, we opted to pick our pies up. When we arrived the place was full of people having a great time same as before… hum. Our pizzas were ready, we paid for them and took them home. Both pies were cooked perfect, from the crust which wasn’t soggy and you could hold the slices out and not have them droop(this is not NY pizza). The cheese was melted, the meats were juicy and the veggies were cooked just right hum… I give them 5 since once they again have made the pizza correctly and fed us the flavors we were looking for in a round table pizza. its not boutique or gourmet pizza but its consistent and good.

I love round table pizza and I always have since I was a kid so don’t get me wrong. One night I placed an order for pick up. When I got home I realized they screwed up so I called right back and spoke to the owner. I asked him to send another pizza out for the mix up. He told me he wouldn’t have a driver for an hour, and I said no problem just send them then. He then told me he needed to see the pizza… Ok have them pick it up when they bring my replacement. He didn’t like this so we went round and round about getting a new one that night. Finally he said he would give me 50% my next order. Ok great! I’m ok with that. How would he know it’s me??? «I’m the owner and I am here all the time. I will remember» Are you sure I asked? Do you need to write it down? «No I will remember» Flash forward to tonight when he’s not there when I called and talked to the assistant manager. I tell her what happened, placed my order, and she quotes me the same price I paid before. «Um it’s 50% off» Yes I gave you that «No you didn’t» Oh I’ll give you the medium pizza free From her price to me, that’s $ 6 off. Not 50% like I was told So I go down there to pick up my pizza and let the assistant manager know the owner told me 50%. She insists she is giving me a free pizza and that’s all she can do. I again let her know it’s 50% off and if she can’t them call the owner… «I did and he doesn’t even remember telling you this» Excuse me?! After he said repeatedly to me he would remember?! I told her to get him on the phone again. After he refused to honor the 50% off the whole order I told her forget it. They can eat the cost of the pizzas. I could see one was out of the oven and in a box and the other was almost out of the oven. It’s the principle of things. When you give someone your word that you will honor a mistake your place of business made, then do it. And remember it! It’s no wonder the last three times I have been in there, no one else has been in there! Good luck running the place into the ground. It’s a shame too cause I love round table pizza.

To see my review of the food, please scroll to the bottom. I used to work here, and the owners(I won’t name names) are rude. I don’t know if it’s a cultural thing because they’re from India or what, but they just come off as cold. They always seem like they’re in a bad mood. They are super cheap and greedy. They cut corners whenever they can. Yes that Indian or Arab looking man or woman delivering your pizza are actually the owners trying to get as much money as they can, so remember that when you tip. They already charge $ 3 delivery fees, but they get to get the tips too. They are always understaffed, and I would always be scheduled to do delivery on Saturday nights so I wouldn’t make plans ever on Saturdays only to get a phone call nearly every week at 4:30 when my shift started at 5 saying that I don’t have to come in because it’s slow. Of course it’s slow! It’s only 4:30! So not only did I loose out on 5 hours pay and about $ 75 in tips, but I’d miss out on things because I planned on working. That’s totally disrespectful. Before I quit, only 2 of the 5POS/cash registers were working and the other 3 were collecting dust with no hope of being repaired or replaced anytime soon. More proof of how cheap the owners are, is the husband has another job as a welder during the day. The wife runs the place basically by herself from opening until late afternoon when the husband arrives after his other job. Some days the wife will stay during the evening, but usually the husband takes over and does delivery. The duo work 7 days a week, 362 days a year(or how ever many days they keep it open) and are frankly burnt out, so they’re complacent and just do the bare minimum to get by. The husband has told me that he’s lucky to get 4 hours of sleep a night. I don’t want to speculate their financial situation, but they must owe a lot of money to someone or are supporting relatives back in India because it doesn’t make sense to own a pizza restaurant, have a full time welding job, which in itself should be enough income to support a wife and kid, and not own a home. The owners told me that they were living in an apartment. I feel like they’re stockpiling all of this money, always working and never spending unless it is absolutely necessary and cheap. I know it’s none of my business and is irrelevant to a Unilocal review, but it just makes you wonder where their money is going. In the summer they were too cheap to hire a babysitter, so they’d have their 5 year old son running around in the restaurant all day, and it was him who unwittingly told me that his parents were insulting me behind my back that led to me quitting. They’re always talking in Punjabi, so none of the employees can understand them, and you can tell they’re speaking negatively even without understanding what they’re actually saying. Their English extremely poor. In fact, it is so poor that there is definitely a breakdown in communication between the owners/management and the employees, which leads to conflict, and things not getting done properly or at all. Furthermore, the owners are not innovative and are stuck in their ways. They aren’t open to suggestions and are afraid of change. The husband used to be the manager for the old owner and has been doing this monotonous job for over 20 years. He is not business savy. He just knows how to run the everyday functions of a Round Table Pizza franchise. The owners also lack customer service skills. They just want your money and you to leave as fast as possible unless you’re spending more money. They also lack the ability to properly train their employees. Usually new employees have to figure out what to do by watching the older employees work. Now that I’m done venting about the owners. Overall the pizza is pretty good, but it’s overpriced. Never order without a coupon, and if you don’t have a coupon ask for the special which is buy one pizza get second one half off. Paying full price at Round Table will set you back a pretty penny. The pizza ingredients are of good quality and the produce is fresh. The dough and sauce is made fresh daily. After working in the back kitchen, I would eat the food from here. Some people I know have worked in gross kitchens with spoiled ingredients and wouldn’t ingest their own restaurant’s food even if someone paid them. That isn’t a problem with Round Table Moorpark. For the freshest ingredients, you’re going to want to stick with pizza and get the more popular menu items. The appetizers, besides the garlic twists, are all just frozen like the Buffalo wings and the pasta etc. If you order something that isn’t very common, chances are that it’s been sitting in the freezer for a while.
