Target Optical

I was looking for an eye exam only for my mom, she doesnt have insurance but i called everywhere and this one is the cheapest. for $ 49. after she was seen by the optometrist, Tamara was the one who helped us out with the frames and everything, she was very friendly and accommodating, my mom gets really picky with her glasses, she keeps asking for a cheaper eye glass for reading not for everyday use, but Tamara was very patient with my mom and keeps making her smile. so she deserves 5 stars!
oh yeh, they also give you 10% off if you’re an AAA member, its not much but it helps.

This review is long overdue as I have been coming here for my yearly supply of contact lenses and eyeglasses for the past several years. I am not one to change when I am comfortable with a provider so I still go to my same eye doctor so this review is mainly for the optical store. Here, Dorian has always taken care of my order. He always remembers his customers and will greet us accordingly. He takes the time to research the maximum allowance through my insurance and I leave with a good deal. I even found out yesterday that those with my same insurance can get a new pair of eyeglasses every year contrary to what my friends have been told that they can only get a new pair every other year. I will always return to this location because Dorian goes out of his way to make sure all of our needs are met.

I should have none better than to come to this horrible place for just a check up.
Made an appointment to get my eye checked since I feared I had an infection. I was told by the receptionist I had to pay an additional 75 $ just to get seen when I knew what my insurance covered.
That particular person was rude and had no customer service skills. I proceeded to tell her to just do her job and verify my insurance appropriately. They had no regard to customer service skills whatsoever. I’m never coming here again. If you like to get treated with lack of respect and waste time this is the place for you, but beware.

This optometry is surprising. Usually I wouldn’t think an optometry in a super market would be all that good but this one was great. The service here was amazing. The doctor that helped me was dr Han. I would recommend this optometry greatly.

I’m surprised by the previous reviews on here. My experience couldn’t have been more different. I usually go to a private optometry office for my eyeglass needs, but recently I decided to give this Target Optical a try because I shop at Target regularly. It also had a better selection and seemed cleaner than the Walmart Optical. I will be coming to this Target Optical from now on for my eyeglass needs. The girls in the front were very efficient, which is important to me because I like to get in and out quickly. But they allowed me all the time I needed to choose the right pair of glasses. They were very accommodating and patient with me, as I get very picky with styles. The optometrist was very professional and also very efficient. She reassured me that if I had any problem with the prescription, she would re-​examine me at no extra charge. But after I received my glasses, it wasn’t necessary because the prescription was perfect, and the glasses were soooo comfortable. They also had a large selection to choose from and the overall price was lower than what I paid at the private optometry office I used to go to! I was so happy with the price, selection, and service, that I sent my husband here since he needed a pair of prescription sunglasses. He was very happy with what he found and the price really can’t be beat. Definitely glad I decided to try out Target Optical.

Service is pretty bad. Went there because my husband desperately needed glasses. They do accept medi– cal so his exam was free. We just had to pay for the cost of the glasses which was almost $ 300. We had to wait 14 days to get them. When he finally got them they just handed them to him and didn’t explain anything to us. Just did a quick adjustment which made them worse and sent us on our way. Wish they would of told us how long it would take for him to adjust and if we could bring them back if he wasn’t happy. I feel they are understaffed because they say they are SO busy every time I talk to them.

Received horrible service today. Lost my business. We will be taking our family’s prescriptions and money somewhere else.
