Don’t waste your time here. Literally. Busy or not we’ve had to wait for everything. Taking our order takes forever, getting drinks is even longer, Our food got cold before we could ask for a refill. It’s horrible. Tried it 3 times on the 4th time we waited for 7 mins at the host counter and never even got a look for any Denny’s employee so we walked out.

I really like this Denny’s, I have been to several and this one is the cleanest with the best service, a little slow sometimes but not too terrible. The Steak salad is wonderful. It is filling and priced well. My husband and I can each get what we want with out breaking the bank and waiting too long. Do not go here expecting to get a gourmet meal. The food is good and inexpensive. The servings are adequate and the menu is diverse but not real fancy. Just a good basic place to eat.

Food isn’t bad, but the bacon sucks. It’s so thin you can see through it. Good service though. Service gets 5 stars, food gets 3 stars, bacon gets 0 stars.

I generally like Denny’s because it is cheap and they have a pretty good variety. But I have had a couple bad experiences in Morgan Hill. The host asked us if our name was on the wait list. We said no and he then asked the person behind us if they had their names on the list. They also said no but he wrote their names down. He then walked away and never acknowledged us again. It was very rude. We walked out.

Wow, just called this place trying to order to go food and I was told they’re not taking any togo for 45 min and I asked if I should call back in 45 min and he said or you can go somewhere else. Really? I guess they don’t want any business. This is the first I’ve heard of this.

Horrible service. Came in at 1:40 on Sunday and wasn’t too busy. We had to ask our server for everything. Ketchup, utensils, sugar, creamer, toast we ordered, coffee refill, napkins, EVERYTHING!!! And she was annoyed we kept asking for stuff we needed! It is Dennys so it’s typical service.

We stopped here on our way home from LA. Annette, the shift supervisor, was actually our waitress. She was very attentive and checked up on us regularly to make us feel welcomed and not forgotten. Her demeanor was friendly and helpful. We got the pumpkin pecan pancakes with a side of hash browns and eggs. I really loved the pancakes, the pecans seem to be caramelized, sweet and crunchy. We really enjoyed our stop at this Denny’s based on our interaction with Annette.

Worst customer service. Host not there for a crowd of waiting people. Person filling in didn’t even look me in the eye and took the person behind me’s name for the wait list.

Very poor service by waitress(Elizabeth) and not great food. She didn’t allow us much time to order due to being a rush to leave work. Also was in so much of a rush that she vacuumed under our table as we were eating and then groaned at us for not being done.

Slow as fuck the restaurant was empty took 20 mins to get one stack of pancakes never coming back lesson learned Denny’s is too damn slow under staffed even though no one is here. It’s an issue in more than one location so it’s not just one place. It’s just the chain itself waste of money and time. To get the bill took even longer I hate to leave bad reviews but this was one of those rare occasions where I had to service was that bad

Horrendous service. We were passing through around 10pm and had missed most of the dinner restaurants. We saw this and stopped. Huge mistake. The restaurant was full, but we were seated immediately. The server came and took our drink order then vanished. Ten minutes later, I saw her at the hostess station seating other customers. Another server came and asked if we’d been helped and I told her we had placed drink orders, but never got them. Our original server returned a few minutes later with our drinks and took our order. We didn’t order anything out of the ordinary or unusual. Or so I thought. We placed our order and the restaurant emptied until there were only 2 or 3 other tables. And so began the wait. 10 minutes. 20 minutes. 30 minutes. 40 minutes. Finally, after 45 minutes, we got our food. It was okay. Except the toast. The toast wasn’t really toast at all, it was warm bread which was a bit irritating since I had asked for my toast to be darkly toasted. But that wasn’t the most irritating part by a long shot. At this point, the dining room was nearly empty, but every table was covered with dirty dishes that just sat since nobody was bussing them. We finished our food and the server finally managed to find her way out into the dining room to check on us. She brought a box for one of the meals that wasn’t finished and I hoped she might be getting ready to bring the check. False hope. We finally got up since our quick meal had already taken close to an hour and a half. A couple at another table were in the same boat waiting for their check. We all got up and went to the cashier and had to tell them which ticket was ours. I never really had a chance to look at the bill before I paid and in hindsight, I should’ve taken the time. I had ordered a skillet from their holiday menu. Enough time had passed by the time she took our order that I didn’t have the details of the menu memorized. I should have. After she took my order, she asked, «you want sourdough toast?» Thinking it was included with my meal, I said sure and can I get that darkly toasted please. When the food arrived, I had a sliced avocado(which I mistakenly guessed was included with my meal) and the«raw» toast. After I got home, I looked more closely at my bill and found that I had been charged .99 to add toast and avocado to my meal. Obviously not the end of the world, but it’s irritating. We never once discussed avocado and the manner in which she asked about the toast made it sound as if it was included in my meal. So, if you’re in the mood for piss poor service, hours-long dining experience and being overcharged, visit this Denny’s. As for me, if I happen to be suffering from malnutrition and I’m in the area, I’ll keep on suffering and not waste my time or money at this place.

We are regular sunday Denny’s customers. We like them for their family friendly menus and environment, but we had a terrible service experience at the Morgan Hill location. Waited 20 mins to be seated… When seated, didn’t get acknowlwedged, didn’t have utensils… waited 10 mins and approached someone for attention. We ended up waiting about 45 mins for our food to come until we decided to end the torture and walk out. No one cared… The place was not busy at all but it is very poorly managed. Sucks to start your day with this experience!

I am giving this five star rating mainly because of our server Kim P. She’s so friendly, attentive, warm, kind, and very fast. She needs to be an example to other Denny’s staff at ALL Denny’s locations. Seriously! You’re the reason we come back. Keep up the good job. Kim you deserve a raise!

Terrible food quality and slow service! We ordered at 10:40 and did not receive our food until 11:30. When our food came half of it was cold. The pancakes were disgusting and the bacon was literally a half inch strip of «two slices». When I brought it to the attention of the manager he said«that’s what we serve here sorry» I would never go to this Denny’s again.

Awful service we ordered our food at 140 there was only a few people in there and didn’t get our food until 230. The servers are slow and there’s a lady one there who’s rude. The manager is useless doesn’t know how to deal with customers when they address a concern. Just says oh um let me find out what happened and never returns.

If I could go lower on stars I would. This is the second time I had to wait more than 15 minutes to get my food order in(which I never did because we walked out). For Denny’s to let customers wait that long for service is really embarrassing. You would think that MAYBE it was busy but NO. Place was almost empty. They need to open an IHOP around here instead. Dear Denny’s, I am sad I didn’t get pancakes. Sincerely, A very sad/mad customer

I very rarely give a one star review. Buy when I had to argue with the cashier about getting a refund when they overcharged me, and going to a supervisor and then the manager, only to get a half assed excuse for a refund you more than deserve the one star review. Long story short, me and some friends split our bill, they tell me I can use a coupon, I pay, get my receipt to find that they didn’t apply the 20% off. So naturally inlet them know and ask for my money back. They informed me i can’t get a refund because the coupon has already been used, by the same party? Yeah its one coupon per table. She admits I deserve a refund but she isn’t able to process it. Supervisor tells me she can’t take the coupon. I get the manager and finally get them to process a refund. She can’t refund my credit card so just gives me cash and coins. That’s not convenient, because the still over changed my credit card so now I have to deposit cash and deal with a credit card payment. Apparently their system can’t refund cards. The food was typical generic Dennys, worth the price, but not worth the amount of drama I dealt with.

Used to frequent this place the past few years. Went in to have lunch with an old friend a couple days ago and its a good thing we talked a lot because the service was RIDICULOUSLYSLOWWWWWW! One star for the smiling faces and courteous supervisor but absolutely horrendous in speed and lackluster in quality. And when we got the food it was pretty much heat-lamp dried up. My friend observed that he saw a lot of food just sitting on the pass window, drying to a crumble. No one had any sense of urgency This place REALLY went downhill since my last few visits. Get it together, you guys. Told my friend who used to work this Dennys a while back and he was depressed to hear the sad state of this place.

Pros: Open late Warm food Short wait time for food Cons: Poor Service Over priced than most Bay area Denny’s Less food than your average Denny’s If you can, skip this«restaurant» although I hate Walmart, I should have just got a snack there. Walmart is across the street. I went here on a Tuesday night at 9pm and this place was half full! The place is clean, lots of space, has LCD flatscreeens and judging by the corona sign outside i think they serve beer. The Service sucks, just plain and simple. I don’t name names but a short gentlemen with an apathic expression his face showed us to a seat. We had an extra little person with us so we asked for a differrent booth next in the adjacent room next to a quite couple. Dude sighed and was a little upset he couldn’t pac us like sardines with the majority of patrons tryng to say this side of the restaurant is closed! FORWHAT? To wrap this up they rushed us to order, they never checked on us, forgot to give us our coke and we asked for a refund he said quietly why didn’t you tell me? Well sir, you never checked on us. He tried to hustle us by asking blankly if we wanted it to go? Whats the point in that? SERVICE, GIVETOME! The portions sizes at this the dennys are smaller and more expensive! On a good note the food was warm and the wait time was short. Food was serviced in silence, kinda odd. If the service is bad i will only say so after the meal is finished ill pass on a side of spit in my fries. There looked like a manager a lady in red, she asked a couple of patrons how they were doing, i waited to make eye contact before approaching her but after she asked the couple in front of us how they were doing she left. I guess that’s understandable because i know asking everyone would be difficult task to do all the time, it would be hard to do and stressful. I left with tipping them better than the average amount of 20% but never on my deathbed do i have any plans on returning this subpair establishment. The Denny’s near me is amazing.
