Still open? I’m not sure. No menu out front anymore, and my Unilocal friend Warren B. assures me the place has closed.

Pretty good! The spaghetti alla carbonara was delicious– super creamy. I noticed there was not a kids menu but they do accommodate for that by pretty much serving adult plates & charging you adult price even if you order a kids meal for it so definitely did not enjoy that. No wait & it wasn’t packed which was a plus. Still find the pasta pretty good here.

First time here for a friends birthday. Food was pretty good. However, the service was incredibly disappointing. We asked for a birthday cake and our waitress responded with an attitude saying people normally say it earlier and dropped the dessert menu in front of my friend… very rude. Ended up not getting a birthday cake for her from being so turned off. The waitress and hostess began talking about us– making the situation even more uncomfortable. We paid the bill and gave 20% tip, as soon as she received the bill she started cleaning up and pulled the napkin right from under my elbow, and gave a nasty glare when my friend went to the bathroom. Much better restaurants in Morristown with better service and food.

I truely have mixed feelings about the place. We went on a Friday night, mostly because the other restaurants in the area all had 1 hour waits. We didn’t know what to expect and the menu looked good. The Mediterranean salad was excellent, but could have had a little less arugula. We ordered 2 pizzas. One plain and one with prosciutto. Again we thought both pizzas were excellent. They came out fresh and hot. The potato gnocchi was good but not excellent. Lastly we also ordered the penne vodka. This was my personal meal. When it came out the top layer was a bit dry like it was sitting for some time. The pasta was under done for me but I like my pasta mushy. It was probably cooked aldente. I thought this dish tasted awesome and would be my recommendation, get it with the shrimp. The service was fine but I could have used a drink refill. Mind you it was not crowded at all. This is where it all fell apart. After receiving the itemized check and handing the server my credit card, the credit slip came back with a different more expensive total than the itemized check. When we asked about it, they fixed the itemized bill to reflect the higher amount. When we asked about this change we were told that they punched in the price of a meal on the itemized check wrong and fixed it. We got into a discussion about how they could not charge our card for a value higher than the itemized check. Check your itemized total against your card total.

I heard that this restaurant’s foods are good. I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. I came here for dinner with my family, my dad’s girlfriend and her daughter. Our waitress, Ariana was so friendly and was engaging with her customers. I ordered a personal pizza(Parm) which has mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula and parmesan cheese which I liked. I’ll come back again :-) It’s BYO

Great Italian food! I came here with my husband tonight and the food was amazing! I’m very picky about my Italian food and Parm did not disappoint! We didn’t realize it was a BYOB; however we were pleasantly surprised that a liquor store would deliver to us while looking over the menu! We started off with the Zuppa Calamari alla Puttana which was perfect! I just wish the portion size was larger. For dinner I had the special Pollo alla Scarpariello which was good. The chicken came right off the bone. My husband had the Zuppa di Pesce which was amazing! There was a lot of seafood and everything was cooked to perfection. The couscous was different but so good. I will be getting that next time we come back! Overall great restaurant! We will come back soon!

Terrible experience. I paid $ 22 for valentina truffalina and they bring me 4 little raviolis. When I questioned why I was given such a small portion for such a high price, management said thats how they do things around here and refused to give me anymore. I will never again be going to this restaurant.

Went for Valentines Day, great atmosphere. Service was OK, food was good and pretty fairly priced. Will definitely visit again once it’s warmer and we can sit outside.

We were reluctant to try this place, due to 3.5 stars on Unilocal, but are we glad we did! We were seated quickly, had our choice of 2 tables as all others were reserved. My son had truffle fries –to die for. He stopped eating so he would have room for dinner. Heated up 3 days later they were still amazing. I had a Caesar salad with meatball. It was ok, but a little odd. Meatball was good. We both got pasta entrees. The penne vodka with sausage-absolutely delicious. The veal ravioli-one of the best things I have ever eaten. Can’t wait to go back, and I need to bring my daughter so she can get truffle Fries!

This place was truly great. We walked in prime time on a Friday night, and the place was clearly busy, but they were able to accommodate us with a table for 2 outside in about 20 minutes. We took a walk down the street to buy a bottle of wine, as it’s a BYOB, but later found out that this place uses a delivery service from one of the nearby liquor stores in case you don’t feel like going to get your own. The owner happened to be there that night(I’m under the impression that he frequently is, as the place just opened), and he personally took the time to make recommendations off the menu. The food really was delicious! Servers were extremely attentive. We had a caesar salad with meatballs(sounds weird, but was awesome) coupled with an Italian meats/cheeses plate to start. Both were great, and we were honestly full after the appetizers and fresh bread. We split the Giggy Genovese pasta dish as our entrée, which was basically a bolognese with brisket – owner’s personal favorite, and we’re glad we took his recommendation because this was also very good. It’s a great little spot in the heart of Morristown, and makes for a great date night. We’ll be back for sure.

We went on a limb a few weeks back looking for something new and different. I am happy we didn’t read reviews before we sat down. Hostess and all staff were pleasant, everyone was attentive and fast. Service — great! It’s a BYOB or order from Cambridge Wines, who has a descent selection. We ordered a salad, 2 pizzas and a side of… I don’t remember what at this point. Food was delivered fast, although they were busy on a Friday night. Everything was cooked well and tasty, salad was fresh too. Dress code is casual, seating outside is a must and it’s a great downtown place to enjoy some Italian food.

I rarely write a subpar review so it makes me sad when I have to — but our meal here was really not good. Across the board, our appetizers and entrees left us wanting more, and we left them mostly uneaten. The Caesar salad with meatballs and anchovies was overwhelming and didn’t work. The meatballs tasted like they were boiled and anchovies on top of it all was just too much. The«BIG» Italian salad was medium sized at most, and comprised of 65% endive, which made it way too bitter to be enjoyable. We got two pizzas, both of which tasted like they were made without salt, and the chicken parm was bland and mushy. I am hoping these are just some issues that go along with opening a new restaurant, and they get the kinks ironed out — because with the location and the ambience, there’s lots of potential!

We ate here for dinner, service was friendly and the food was good! The owner was very nice and was around the Resturant helping about. Liked the décor and atmosphere it’s a great addition that it’s a BYO and that there is the option to have the wine delivered from the store down the street the spaghetti and gnocchi were home made the penne was obviously boxed so I would ask for the spaghetti with whatever dish you order.

This was my first time at this restaurant and they made a terrible first impression. I understand mistakes happen, but the difference is in how a restaurant owns up to its shortcomings and tries to proactively remedy the situation. We sat down at 6:30 with a nice table outside. It seemed like a slow night, there were maybe only 8 tables seated. This was why it was so surprising that our waiter took 15 minutes to take our order. By about 7:15, we started to get concerned about where our food was. The tables that were seated after ours had already been served their orders. The waiter kept apologizing and said«a few more minutes.» I wish he was honest with us about what happened. We had an 8:00 show at the MPAC and were at risk of not eating. Had we known they had forgotten to put our order in, we would have cancelled and left. After multiple stops at our table saying«a few more minutes» our food was served at 7:40. We asked the waiter to bring boxes, our check and the manager. The manager was apologetic and informed us the kitchen had lost our ticket. Why couldn’t they have told us from the start? The worst part was that none of our meal was comped. Terrible! We never ate our hot food. We boxed it and left for the show. We kept expecting the manager to offer a discount as part of her apology but it never came. So finally, we had to ASK for free dessert. Again, mistakes happen, but this was very poorly handled. We paid for a meal we didn’t even get to eat at the table. If this was handled more proactively I would consider giving it a second chance, but sadly, it was not. It seems service has been a major issue per other recent reviews and the restaurant is being stingy about its shortcomings and not offering comped meals or discounts.

Happy we didn’t read the reviews before dining here. From the minute we entered until we left every encounter was very pleasant. It was a busy Friday night and although we could not be seated outside there was a table immediately available indoors. Our server Kim was as good as they come. If you have read other posts of mine, a main gripe we have about M’town is the crappy service. We started off with a Cesar salad that was great. Our meals were very tasty. The penne ala vodka was perfect as was the gnocchi. If you like firmer gnocchi you may not care for it here as it was a bit soft. My only complaint was the gnocchi was really, really hot and took a long time to cool down enough for me to eat it. We look forward to returning.

I want to start out by saying, I do not believe this place is fairly reviewed on Unilocal… as you can tell most of the 5 star ratings are from people who are clearly friends with owners, because they have 1 review on Unilocal and that is of Parm Centro only. So here is my unbiased, thorough review of the newest Italian restaurant in Morristown. Came here in a Wednesday night with a large party(10) and was seated in a semi private area. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. The ambiance was welcoming and nicely decorated. The appetizers were definitely the favorite part of my meal. Ordered Rice balls that were pretty good came out very hot. I thought the fried calamari was definitely lacking flavor. It came out a bit too lightly fried, almost looked uncooked and had basically no taste. The BYO wine made up for the lack of taste in the calamari. A nice touch was that they brought out delicious pizza and bread for the entire table. From what I hear, this is standard for all restaurant guests, not just large parties. Onto the entrees, my boyfriend and I split the gnocchi w/red sauce and mozzarella. One major complaint about the gnocchi would definitely be that it was very inconsistent. Some of the pasta’s were huuuuge and some were small. There was no happy medium, the gnocchi definitely should be a lot smaller then some of the pieces were. We both ordered a meat as well, he ordered the veal chop and I ordered the chicken francese. My boyfriend thought the veal was average, but my dish however, was not edible. The chicken francese tasted like it was coated in plastic, no taste. thick, horrible coating on the chicken. One person at the table ordered a pizza, it came out 15 minutes after everyone’s meal and it was the wrong pizza. I mean come on, pizza coming out so delayed after all the meat dishes? Doesn’t make sense. Another thing that puzzled me is why the pizza he ordered looked so different from the fresh pizza bites they originally brought out to the table when we were first seated. I was excited for dessert to come out, especially when the waitress offered a pound cake with nutella and ice-cream. That excitement was shot down shortly after, when she came back to the table and said they did not have that item anymore. Instead I had a piece of chocolate mouse cake, it was ok, nothing special. But others at the table did rave about the cheesecake and canollis. So overall, I believe I would return in the future, for appetizers only, none one the other entrée’s really stuck out to me. Definitely willing to try this place again with a smaller party. *side note, the menu online is not the menu they have in the restaurant, some of the prices in the restaurant have higher prices(rice balls) and the menu online does not have gnocci with red sauce and mozzeralla.

The look of the place is really cute. A lot bigger than you would think. The hostess was very sweet. It is always good to enter on a nice note. She was dressed professionally and greeted us with a huge smile. We were seated immediately. We were offered a wine list from a local wine shop that delivers which is a great touch. We did that at the previous restaurant that was there. Didn’t do it this time but I love that. We were greeted by the waiter who was very nice. We got fresh bread with a tomato dipping sauce which was really good and there were four small squares of pizza! It was really good and when we were done they gave us more. I had the penne vodka and added chicken. The bf had the chicken francese with pasta and kale. The pasta was $ 7.50 extra with the dish and it was not that much pasta and my chicken was $ 6 extra, expected. Both dishes were delicious. The bf’s sauce was soooo good. The waiter forgot the bf’s refill coke twice but he didn’t mind. They were getting a little busier so that’s ok. Will definitely go back!
