One of my very favorite go to places to grab something yummy! I have yet to be disappointed. Breakfast is great as are the sandwiches and burgers. You can get anything you want on them! They do have a tendency to be busy so if you are in a hurry, they have pre-made options but get there early and it is so worth it! The staff is friendly and helpful. The liquor selection is fairly large as is the wine selection. I highly recommend.

We were looking for something that we could have prepared and taken back to our hotel because it was our last night of vacation & we were pretty tired… Sunburned from sitting at the beach all day! When you walk in you order at the cash register and they send the order to the deli part. The sandwiches were very delicious but I would not recommend any of the fried sides, they were super greasy and it was hard to tell if you were eating a piece of zucchini or jalapeño or onion or whatever… You couldn’t really tell one flavor apart from the other with all that grease. I do like that they have a Pepsi and Coke machine for whatever your preference is.

Horrible service and the WORST pastrami sandwich ever! Rude employees who do not know the meaning of «customer service» at all. Will never come back here EVER!

Love this place. I’m in town for a few weeks on business and I’m SOOOO glad I stopped here! The employees are super friendly and the food is super yum!!! They have great pricing for sandwiches and snacks, plus they carry all sorts of beer, liquor, soda, etc. In the next few days I’m going to head over to try their breakfast… I have a feeling I won’t be sorry!!!

This could have easily been a higher rating had I selected a different bread. I wanted my sandwich in a roll over a sliced bread. The bread was very dry and felt like it may have been a few days old. The sandwich internals were all good and fresh. The beer selection here is pretty darn good for a liquor store here in town. Had my bread been better this would easily be a 4 possibly a 5. Don’t let my 3 keep you from giving it a try. Just heed the warning on the French roll.

I hate doing this, I really wanted to fall in love with this place… but the bacon. C’mon man, how can you screw up the bacon??? It’s a familiar story that many of you have experienced before. You find a new spot, everything looks great, plenty of selection, great service(I must emphasize, their service was fabulous!), healthy portions(well, only«healthy» if you eat half now, half for dinner!) and made just the way you ordered it. what’s the problem you ask? The bacon. I will always happily pay an extra buck(or even two!) for good bacon, because bad bacon just ruins everything. I literally spit out nearly all the bacon from this breakfast burrito. Now my friends can tell you, I LOVE breakfast burritos. especially with bacon. and more bacon. BUTITMUSTBEGOODBACON!!! agh! so sad, because it was not crispy, full of fat, chewy, and generally not very flavorful. Right across the street, Taco de Mex has always had phenomenal bacon. I sorta considered myself a traitor for trying this breakfast burrito, but it’s ok… if it has good bacon! oh well, maybe I’ll try a sandwich someday and report back, hopefully one with no bacon :( ps. Bottle Liquor, we could have been made for each other… but you gotta show me the bacon love

The deli area could be cleaner, but their club sandwich is absolutely amazing, one of my favorite sandwiches, I wish they had horseradish sauce(that would be icing on the cake for me)

Love Morro Bay just not crazy about the dining options. What a surprise to read good reviews about a deli in a liquor store. All we wanted was 2 small sandwiches to take to the rock for a picnic. The small sandwiches were huge. Lots of meat. Fresh bread. Made to order. And a real parking lot so you’re not walking 5 blocks to get there. New fav.

Who knew the little liquor store on the corner would have the best burger in town? Too many people, apparently because I’m having to wait longer and longer for my lunch. They make awesome breakfast burritos and deli sandwiches too!

I will say I was quite entertained watching Ren and Stimpy have a kitchen meltdown as a result of 2 orders. They also had especially shitty dialogue about taking bong rips while giggling about the woman with big tits who is also been waiting ten minutes for a napkin. Get high after work dummies. Cmon Nick. Bad form gentleman.

I guess you really have to trust that the locals know what they’re doing when they say«there’s a place in a liquor store that has great food». Amazing call by the brother in law on this one! The reviews alone got me excited and granted for being small on the outside there is quite an array of items on the inside. I drank a bit too hard the night before so seeing a store full of every alcohol known to man made me want to vomit again, but I took notes for where to go to supply that fix on the next Morro outing. Ha-ha! At the very least I can’t say enough about the food itself, but then again it spoke for itself as well. I will start off with the one disappointment of the meal, the fried mushrooms. I was so excited to have these as they are my favorite go to side, but I found this batch to be inedible. As I took my first bite it tasted like a mouthful of salt. My guess was it had to be the batter because without it the mushrooms were fine. I really wanted those to work, but perhaps it was just a one off thing I hope? The coup de gras was the cheesesteak. I would say it even topped the legendary Pat’s in Philly for me anyways and go figure it came from a hole in the wall eatery in a liquor store no less?!? The portion size itself was massive and probably best shared, but you’ll have leftovers for sure(I was tapped out after half). The bread was thin and soft, but managed to hold its own with all the beef, cheese, and peppers which was impressive. The steak was plentiful and both tender all the while being seasoned as it should to do the sandwich justice. What blew me away was the abundance of cheese. This thing just ooe’d gooe’d and moo’d all the way down my esophagus with every bite and boy was my stomach feeling like the big kahuna when it was all said and done! I highly recommend giving this hidden morsel a try if you are in the area. They have burgers and other things, but I’d highly recommend the cheesesteak at the very least if you are a fan!

The club sandwich is divine. It has at least three slices of sourdough bread and within its divisions you’ll find chopped tomatoes and onions, another layer ham and turkey, bacon, Cheese, avocado, sprouts. I ordered it with no alterations since I had seen on Unilocal some awesome pictures of it. It’s really a symphony. You will be happy if you get it.

We came straight from Laguna Beach and needed some time for decompression and ended up in Morro Bay. Craving for beers, I entered the Bottle Liquour and, man, I wasn’t disappointed — huge selection of beers, craft beers, wine and liquours. And did I resist to buy 2 baskets of the amazing burgers? Hell, no! And gladly so! Everything you want from a burger made with hand heart, you’ll find here. When in Morro Bay, do as the locals do: hit the Bottle Liquor.

Nice little store — has everything from snacks and water to beer and liquor — pastrami sandwich is awesome — fries are seasoned and served hot — pricing is fair — counter staff is efficient, just not very friendly.

Great local spot to enjoy a variety of great things from hot and delicious breakfast burritos to fresh, made to order deli sandwiches, snacks, drinks and everything in between. The liquor section is impressive with more variety than I’ve ever seen in a mom & pop shop! I love supporting local businesses and there are SO many great reasons to do that at Bottle liquor!

This humble liquor store/deli is a can’t miss when visiting Morro Bay. Friendly service, convenient hours, and fantastic menu makes this a clear win. The hot food was superb.

We have been eating here for a long time and love the breakfast! The Philly Cheesesteak is amazing until today… We order every time we are in town and we were so excited to get our food. We picked it up and headed back to our campsite took a few bites and it was unedible it was as if the entire jar of pepper was dumped on our sandwiches… We have ordered them before and they are always super fresh and delicious so we were so disappointed… We took them back seeing as we spent $ 18 on pure pepper… The staff was so kind and offered to remake our food. They ended up refunding our money so we were very happy… I think this was a one time issue so we will definitely be back again seeing as how much we love the food(normally)

Great craft beer selection in Moro bay! Prices are good and you can usually find Firestone Walker specialty beers. There are a few selections that don’t move as fast. But that happens when you have a large variety. Kern river also has beer there, which is pretty unique.

Super good food! We come up here for vacation a lot and eat here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast burritos are noteworthy, all very flavorful, although they are heavy so I’d split one rather that eat a whole one. The sandwiches are also really yummy!(So are the fries!!) Excellent wine selection and the whole store is also very clean and the staff is really friendly. Love this place. :)

If you like to fish and need bait, or if you enjoy eating more healthy seafood filled with good fats, this store carries Mackerel for $ 2.95 per lb in their frozen section. There’s also a large selection of beer, wine and hard liquor which is certainly better than your average convenience store. They even had a vendor on site demo’ing the latest version of some designer vodka. While not as big as say a Binny’s or a BevMo, this is not a bad little shop for Morro Bay.
