After relocating back to Chicago I found CD One Price Cleaners in Morton a few months ago and frequent this location twice a week for cleaning service. The service has always been decent in particular a nice older lady with glasses who is very pleasant. Today I picked up my cleaning and received horrible service. The girl took my cleaning swiped my credit card and immediately walked away after leaving my receipt on the counter. Her co-worker noticed what happened and immediately handed me the receipt and stated that the items will be available for pick up tomorrow. She thanked me for coming and really went out of her way to recover from the rude behavior of the other employee. The rude girl behind the counter is a younger Hispanic that wears way too much makeup and pants extremely tight to point of being offensive. Not sure if she was concerned about her immigration status or simply just being rude to a customer for no apparent reason.

Great service, very friendly staff and super affordable. John the Owner is super hands on and a great guy. Makes this large franchise business feel more like your family owned shop that truly cares about everyone. Will definitely be giving him my business. Thanks for providing AWESOME service! :)

After over 4 years of being a customer here, I will no longer go back. Prior to our wedding, my husband took in his Marine Corps formal dress blues coat in to get it dry cleaned and pressed. This is a practice he’s done for over 12 years at various every day dry cleaners without any issue or hiccup. When we went to pick up the coat, the collar, which should be crisp and circular(fitted around the neck), was EXTREMELY distorted, wrinkly, and wavy! Totally unacceptable! When the employee was told about the mess up, he said that was how it turned out, without any sympathy or suggestion for any other solution. A wrinkled collar is NOT what any military coat or shirt or jacket or otherwise should look like! It was clearly the dry cleaning and pressing process that janked up the collar too bc a brand new collar insert was placed inside the coat before wearing it. After some more discussion, the employee said they would try to repress it… but to no avail. It was still wrinkly upon pick up. And keep in mind this was for a wedding. Read: extremely important occasion. After the wedding, husband gave CD One another chance(how forgiving, right?) at dry cleaning the coat, specifically explaining to the manager lady what had happened last time and NOT to press the collar bc it could get even more wrinkly and wavier. What happened when the coat was picked up? It came out janked up again, and there was actually a NOTE tied around the hanger that read«Press well!» As in the OPPOSITE of what was directed to the dry cleaners. How does this happen!!! A refund was received for that debacle, but that in no way compensates for the incompetence of the 2 separate employees and all of the excuses offered up for their mistake. Good riddance.

I am so glad that they brought a CD One Price Cleaners in the area — getting in is kind of tough, as there is no left-turn lane to get into the actual parking lot — you’d have to do a U-turn or go into the Panera plaza to come back out as there is a median and the traffic on Dempster is pretty busy. The service is friendly, and they offer the same bargain price for all articles of clothings — they do not do servicing for leathers, down, alterations, wedding gown preservations, or household goods, but they do clean jackets, shirts, pants, blouses, etc. It’s a fixed price, and they are done in a day if you bring it before a certain time in the morning; otherwise, it’s ready for you the following day after 5PM. The prices can’t be beat compared to other locally-owned independent dry cleaners, as the price on a jacket vs. the price for a shirt is different and can add up pretty quickly! +budget-friendly cleaners

I had one day to have my dry cleaning done and the woman at the register assured me that I can pick up my items a few hours early in order to accommodate my work schedule. I dropped them off on a Tuesday at 4 pm and picked them up Wednesday at 2pm and they were ready. They also offer same day service at no extra charge. The price was very reasonable so I have no complaints.

Never had any issues here. I needed a black dress shirt cleaned and pressed for an emergency use and they did it while i waited. That is great customer service. Im a customer for life!

I am happy with the service and had a good experience with management after one of my silk tops got ruined. The white silk top became all blotched in black, probably from color transfer. But they offered to refund the price of the top. I brought them the receipt and they issued me a check with the same amount, which was between $ 150 and $ 200. They stuck to their word. The manager was knowledgeable and fair. So far they have kept the top and attempted calling the company making it to discuss the cleaning instructions-bad outcome, despite respecting cleaning instructions. I personally think it’s fair. I already have been refunded for the price of the top. I will miss it but it is the best outcome possible. Otherwise they are fantastic, with good service and courteous staff. You can’t beat the price and I know this is hard on their business, but they have earned a loyal customer.

Awful service. Ruined my wife’s brand new dress and refused to fix it. The owner failed to call me when promised and email me when promised. Been in 3 times for the same issue and the owner refuses to help even though he admits they ruined it. Worst service ever experiences. Only thing pleasant about this place our the cashiers.

The price was really cheap and the help was fast. The problem is that you get what you pay for. When I picked up the shirts, they were neatly presses but the samosa or mustard, whatever the yellow substance I had on there when I dropped it off, was still on the pants. This was true for each garment I dropped off. I think they only steam and press and do not actually clean anything. Also, this is not a full service as I asked for my pants to be hemmed and they said that they didn’t have anyone to do that.

5 stars. Picture it… Fri morning, rushing into the office, traffic is HORRIBLE, gas tank is empty, cell phone is ringing, already running late after an early morning appointment… I had a funeral to attend on Saturday, but forgot to drop off my dress at the dry cleaner near the house — just totally forgot… too much going on. So, on the way to work, I saw this place and stopped in. It was almost 11 am, but I explained my situation and they promised to have it ready for me by 5 pm. Whew! Thanks for the accomodation!

Management is extremely rude. The cashiers and cleaners are very friendly and get the job done, which is the only thing keeping me from a zero star review, but management belittles the customers when they think you aren’t in listening distance. Zero stars for management at the Morton Grove location.

Love this place! Get everything cleaned for $ 2.49 each piece. Service is consistently friendly, and my clothes come out crispy clean. Bring in your old wire hangers!

These guys are fucking great! I live about 5 mins from this place and although they just raised their prices, they’re still quite affordable. Although, make sure if you get your shirts dry cleaned here, that you ask to have everything starched or else they don’t come out as great. Shirts are like $ 1.19 and then everything else is a little over $ 2.

I take way too many of my clothes to the dry cleaners. I am used to the 1.50, 1.95 dry cleaners. I am so happy that I discovered CD One Price. Its not exactly around the corner but the 8 – 10 minute drive is worth it. The staff is nice and their service is great.
