I purchased a half-gallon of milk here in the evening on 9⁄10. On 9/11, when I opened it, I noticed that the milk was sour, and the«Best By» date on the carton was 9⁄11. I promptly returned to the store to ask for a new one. I realized that they had not issued a receipt for my purchase of the milk. At least they took my word for it that I purchased the milk there and let me get a new carton, but not after the woman at the register had the nerve to say, «we’re allowed to sell it until the ‘Best By’ date, maybe you forgot to refrigerate the milk after you bought it yesterday.» Uh, I refrigerated it just fine; maybe YOU shouldn’t be selling milk so close to the Best By date. There were two remaining cartons of the kind of milk I bought in their fridge: One was labeled 9/11, and the other one was labeled 9⁄25. In short: seems very sketchy, if you must go here for milk or any other perishables, check the date before you buy!!!

Standard convenience store carrying a Hispanic-influenced grocery list, and run by an Asian family. Welcome to Silicon Valley. Large selection of beers and sodas. I’ll stop in more when they start carrying lime diet coke.

Fast Mini Mart is better than many convenience stores, at least in their beverage choices. Sure, for malt liquor you have a bunch of choices. But that’s usually not my fare. I found Honest Ade™ juice/tea drinks there, yummy stuff. Conveniently close to my place.

Small convenience store off Moffett field conveniently located near Tres Hermanos Taqueria and Fast Pizza. Was looking for some weird sodas and found an interesting Mexican Mango soda to go with my Taqueria dinner. It’s a bit of sketchy locale and the clientele are not much better but it makes for a quick supplement for a togo meal nearby.
