Won’t go back! Frequent Cheddars in Chattanooga during business trips and love the Blue Cheese Crusted Steak, excited when Mt Juliet Cheddars opened. Server was rude when I asked about this steak as not on menu, said what you see on menu is what you get. Person accompanying me on this trip asked about specials and was rudely told«We don’t have specials!». So we walked out not to darken their doorway ever again, however repeat visits to the Chattanooga location!

This place is always packed and busy. Their service model is effective. They manage to turn out fresh, hot food, and keep the tables turning. They don’t offer much in the way of healthy eating, but it’s not impossible to find and adjust your order, for a better calorie option.

We were first a little disappointed to find the chicken and waffles are no longer on the menu but reading the new menu we found a couple of good chicken and shrimp plates, with the server Josh’s great suggestions chose the Key west with broccoli/cheese and a side salad. Asked for the sweet chili sauce on side and it was so good! Josh was a great server we will definitely be back!

MARK! Great server! It was my mom’s bday. We had about 12 people, 5 of them were kids. He anticipated exactly what we needed the entire time. Food was also fantastic. The restaurant and restrooms were clean as well. All around great store. Great job out there management!

My prior review was mistakenly placed under Cheddar’s it was meant for Martin’s BBQ not Cheddar’s. Everytime I visit Cheddar’s service has been good. Food hot and fresh. Martin’s on the other hand is hit and miss. Definitely overpriced for what you get.

I used to live by a Cheddar’s in KY and I often missed eating there after I moved to OH. Well, when I found out there were locations in TN, I was really excited. We were heading to a convention at the Opryland Hotel and I had been told there was a location there. Sadly, that location closed recently. Well, I had been raving all day about the amazing chicken strips and my boyfriend decided we would drive to the nearest location so that I could have them after all. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very nice. She was attentive and everything came out in a timely manner. The décor seems the same at all locations, I’ve always enjoyed the big thatched fans in the center and the fish tanks. I will stand by the fact that their chicken strips are the BEST ever. Seriously. They’re really good. They’re the perfect combination of crispy and crunchy. The chicken is always tender and moist. It had been about 7 years since I last had Cheddar’s chicken strips, but they were all I had hoped and dreamed they would be. I ordered shrimp as well and they were okay, but nothing too exciting. They tasted like they had probably been previously frozen. Our sides were good and the portions of the meals are more than generous. We both had no room for dessert and plenty of leftover chicken strips to take him for the next day. Overall, it was a good meal. I may have over-hyped it a little bit. The place is a bit of a drive for us and I’m not totally sure that we would make the drive back out there just for that, but we would certainly stop by if we were in that part of town!

OK so we got 2 appetizers one came out the other came with the entrees. Super slow and there were several tables in need of cleaning. I’ve long finished my meal and waiting for the server and add another 30 minutes we have have the check.

Wonderful atmosphere, great staff, good food. The wait between when they set the check and pick it up is a little too long, and the steak is inconsistent. Other than that, nice place to grab a bite for a lower price.

OMG! Food Coma!!! Excellent prices and large helpings. I’m not going to rave about the food but we did leave quite satisfied for what it was. The price point is on point :) Ya don’t need to spend much Chedda to eat the Chadda it’s an inexpensive decent meal I guess is the main bullet point I’m trying to make here. I had the Monte Cristo which was good and the Chips and Queso which I gobbled right up :) The Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This place stays busy but it doesn’t usually take forever to get a seat. The restaurant is rather spacious so there is plenty of seating, indoors and out. There is plenty to choose from on the menu and you get large portions for a very reasonable price. The service is usually good and the servers are good at keeping drinks refilled. Good place to eat in large groups or eat after church on a Sunday.

Food was good and the service was great. Very responsibly priced. Two of us ate for about 22 bucks. Bacon cheeseburger was really good. My date loved the chicken pot pie

Got seated very quickly and even though it was packed the noise was at a decent level and the décor nice. But my waitress I practically had to do her job for her. I had to remind her for straws, napkins and silverware and this is after they has brought the food out so in curious on how we were suppose to eat it. Appetizers were lacking big time. The fried cheese sticks weren’t even melted inside and discolored like they just heated them to the required heat setting and then took them out too early. The loaded potato skins had nothing but cheese on them and maybe 2 had a few toppings on them. Both didn’t give many as far as servings/pieces. I had Cajun pasta dish and they did actually follow my directions when I asked for no shrimp(which no place ever seems to remember special requests so kudos) but I ordered a side of red beans and rice and they messed it up and didn’t get it but my husband got it. They offered to go get mine but after seeing his which looks like some watered down sludge soup I quickly told them to forget it. The sight of it made me sick. Super limited dessert menu to where I didn’t even order anything. The booth Table with four people was too small to where our plates covered the whole table with no clear space. One clumsy move and everything would have been flying. Food that I did get was good and after the waitress got everything we asked for that we needed she stopped being short with us and was nice and kept our drinks filled. Huge portions. We went on gift cards But if I had to spend my money there I think I’d rather go some where else. Their menu is all over the place with different odd things thrown together to order and everyone else’s looked ok but how does red beans and rice turn into a soup sludge in a bowl? I’ve been to New Orleans I know what it’s suppose to look like and the appetizers being not appetizing and having to ask for everything Id rather go to a good place and get crappy service but food that is good and not half of it good and the rest not even ok and then worry if they are going to butcher something.

In short: Ho-hum food, lackadaisical service, long wait for the food to be brought out, and a wait-staff that didn’t care if the previous diner’s food and dirty plates sat around not being cleaned up. We were there for literally 1.5 hours at the bar, took forever to get our drinks, waited and waited for bartender to take our order, even longer for the food to come out, and the whole time, we sat next to dirty glasses, and ½ eaten food on plates sitting ATTHEBAR that were NEVER removed the entire time we were there, despite 2 managers and countless waitstaff passing by, each looking at it, none taking it away. Needless to say, not only was all that unappetizing to look at and have to sit by the entire time, but they couldn’t sit anyone else down and serve more people/make more money, because the dishes just sat and sat in the way! My wife and I will not be back.

OK place to eat. Food is average. Sometimes they have weird combinations. Atmosphere is nice and kind of dark, but seems to be on the loud side. But overall a good place to take the family for something different.

Needed to purchase some items for my upcoming ½ Marathon which took me to the Mt. Juliet area. Was wanting fish tacos so decided to stop in @ Cheddar’s. We had a great waiter and the service was nice. Our seating location was right by the door for the outside seating area. It was very annoying each time the door opened our napkins and other items on the table would blow away. Food ordered was Key West & Fish Tacos(grilled) — warning do not order the fish tacos. Overall a nice chain restaurant to visit. Would stick with chicken…

I don’t get what all the rage is. Food is average. It wasn’t cold and the portions are big, but it’s just blah. Service was fine but average. Our umbrella at our table didn’t work nor did the lights by our table, so it got a bit dark. We ordered cheese fries(huge plate that you could split with at least 6 people), chicken tenders(meh) and ribs. I can’t pinpoint anything that was awful about the experience, just wasn’t a place I’d ever crave or go back to.

Food was great! I got the tilapia with mango salsa… Amazing! Their crescent rolls were amazingly fluffy and buttery! My sister had the lasagna and that too was great! Our waiter was very professional and on top of watching our drinks get low! I recommend the tilapia, chicken fingers, pear salad, carrots, mashed potatoes and the crescent rolls!!! :) the desert was good as well.

Casual dining, Nothing real exciting but the wait staff was very nice and attentive. I ordered a salmon plate and it was pretty good. Price was fair and had a nice casual atmosphere. If I was in the area again and I would possibly go back and try other dishes.
