Warm welcome at the door and seated immediately at the bar. Our stuffed mushrooms were cooked well and served hot.
I ordered the Hawaiian Salmon and it very tasty. It comes on a bed of spinach with a tangy drizzle. The pineapple set it off. My sweet potato was cooked perfect and a good size.
The other two ordered the tomato bisque and ribs. Both were pleased and our service by the bartender was top notch.

My husband and I had dinner and drinks here last night. We sat at the bar, and was greeted right away by Jessica. She was busy and did not skip a beat. She was very professional and timely. She also made me the best peach mojito that I’ve ever had! I had two! Our steaks were delish as always. We will return to this location. We will definitely request Jessica on our next visit.

Ate there twice, for lunch very pleased with service, excellent French onion soup, chicken avocado flatbread, prime rib mushroom sandwich. For dinner we had the steak for 2 honestly say this was the best steak I ever had tender tasty, and flavorful, and the bread served warm with a giant knife pierced through it lovely crisp crust. Yummy will definitely be back and highly recommend. Prices are a bit high but comparing to other places in mt. Juliet I don’t mind paying for GOOD food and SERVICE.

The Great American steak meal deal is truly a great deal. Choose a salad, then comes the steak with your choice of side, then choose your dessert. I chose the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. You instead of the dessert you can choose an appetizer. Longhorn is rocking!!!

I have been here a few times but this review is about my food last week when i was there. I went with two friends… after the loss of a dear friend… and we were having a little retrospective. So cocktails were in order. I had a blackberry lemonade something which was good… i had two. My friends had the ultimate margarita and both enjoyed. Our appetizers were the stuffed mushrooms which are wonderful, but the real surprise was the fried green tomatoes, which i have never liked but LOVED here. They are thick and deep fried… with what i believe was goat cheese sprinkled on top… perhaps feta… regardless they rule.
One thing the restaurant did was keep a good bit of time between appetizers salads and the main course. This might have been because they were slow in the kitchen or its intentional… regardless…it works. …
I ordered the new york strip and i will say it was not trimmed properly and i had to cut a lot of fat off of it but otherwise it was delicious. The baked potato was massive and cooked properly as well. Service was fine and no complaints on that end.
You are gonna spend some money here… and you wont be out in under an hour… but for a leisurely dinner and good food that’s fine with me.

I recently had an awesome lunch on a weekday at 12:30. We started off with fried green tomatoes. We asked for the spicy sauce on the side. The tomatoes, 6 in the order,& the sauce
were wonderful! My friend & I both had the flat iron steak, medium-​rare. They were cooked to perfection! I had the loaded baked potato & my friend had the sweet potatoes with cinnamon & honey. Both were very good! We wanted to order one of their beautiful desserts but we talked ourselves out of them. We left with yummy doggy bags and mine was gone before dinner time!!! I really want to mention one thing that I have never had offered at ANY restaurant ! I was offered new, fresh ice tea to go along with the doggy boxes! Thank you, Lonestar, we can’t wait to go back!

This is a pretty good steakhouse. The service was excellent. The steak I got was cooked perfect to how I ordered it. The drinks were good. They had a food sslection of draft beer. The prices were pretty regular to most restraunts in the area.
There wasn’t anything amazing about the place. The Prices were a little high for me, just because I’ve had better food for the same price. I suppose I would recommend it, and go back if someone wanted to go. I probably wouldn’t pick it out myself though.

Worst dining experience in a long time. Took over thirty minutes to get served… sure it was Mothers Day but still.

Love this place! We get gift cards every Christmas! The staff is always nice and gives our kids teddy grahms if they are good. Usually not a long wait at this location, even though the parking lot looks packed.

Short and simple.
Overall it was good.
Steaks were cooked to temp ordered. The dessert (taken home) was a some blueberry cream cake. Very good.
The bad, The drink I ordered (a montana mule) was weak and had too much seltzer in it.
Would we go back. Yes.

Prime rib was good and the fries were great. We had really good service too. My date enjoyed the chicken parmesan.
We went kinda early and it was an enjoyable meal all around
The sweet tea was great!!!

Longhorn is my favorite place to eat and tonight’s food was delicious, as always. That said, I am only giving two stars because our server, Naomi, was curt, abrupt and unpleasant. Our porterhouse for two was not prepped at our table as has been the norm on past visits and we were rushed for our order while in mid conversation. Anyone can have a bad day, but we have had Naomi as a server before and she was unpleasant then too. Longhorn, please fix this — I don’t want to stop coming here.

Always enjoy my dinners when I come. Brought wife for date night and we had dinner. On. y concern this visit was we sat at the bar due to the long wait. Many tables open but it looked like their just wasn’t enough servers. Had great food and good service.

I love the appetizers and salads much more than the entrees.
Being a chain, they have consistenancy in their food, but their waitstaff service varies.
Glad Mt Juliet is finally getting more restaurants!

The best filet mignon I’ve had in a long time. Very nice inside, lots of room, friendly staff, fast service… I’ll go back soon!
One star off because we found a plastic bread tie in the sour cream… which was on the side for a baked potato.

I have to give them a 5 star for tonight’s visit. They just opened Dec. 2012 but the service and food was excellent. A must try!
