We have eaten here for both lunch and dinner and we have never been disappointed. Their chicken is really wonderful and we have enjoyed it in many different dishes. I love their creamy jalapeño dip. It’s pretty much like fresh ranch with a kick. Their chips are really thin, and while that makes dipping them a little tricky and mess, they are always very fresh and delicious. Despite it being a «chain» restaurant, it doesn’t feel like one. I can’t give it five stars, because it is always slightly warm in there, just enough to be stuffy and uncomfortable.

We went to Chuy’s twice and it was really good but we will not go back because of the service. The first time we went there was shortly before 5pm. We were seated right away and we ordered mojitos. The drinks were so incredibly weak that we actually thought there was no rum in them We ordered food and it was terrific but we were constantly interrupted by our server including pushing us to pay before we were done eating. We finally took it to go to get some peace. The second time I went I took my daughter. The short redhead waiter came over and asked if we would like to order cocktails. Based on previous experience, we declined. He kept pushing and I told him about our weak drinks. He stormed of and got us a new waiter. Thank goodness because the red head continued for the rest of our visit by either spilling on his guests(twice!) or insulting them(he told two full bodied guests that they certainly looked like they would be wanting dessert). Bad form. Our food was good but there was a missing fried egg and as well as missing guac. The bottom line is that this place is probably best for take out, just check your order before you leave.

We had awesome service by Kirby. While busy, she made each of her tables feel like they were the only thing of importance. She took her time to explain all the sauces with little samples of all of them. When I told her that I am gluten sensitive she made an excellent menu suggestion with an alternative preparation method. The manager stopped by to let us know that grilling would take a bit longer and if it wasn’t to my liking they would gladly prepare something else. Well it was better than the fried option. My husband said so because he had to finish my portion. Portions are large and filling. Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent atmosphere. We will be back. And asking for Kirby!

I like chuys and the people there but it seems like they’re lacking in the management area. All we ordered was a Mexi Cobb salad on a night that wasn’t too busy. It took 25 minutes to get it and then it didn’t have chicken on it. Everyone works hard but it seems like this kind of stuff happens a lot when I’m here. Aaaaaand they could get lemons that aren’t rotted. Aaaaand their t shirts are so stupid they’re entertaining.

I’ve had Chuy’s in Murfreesboro three times and they have struck out! My first experience I realized it’s extremely noisy in the restaurant. The food was over priced and subpar compared to many other smaller Tex-Mex/Mexican restaurants. The second experience was the absolute worst with a wait on a Saturday night of one hour and twelve minutes before being seating for a party of five. That night I had such indigestion(which I never experienced before) that I had to go to the doctor the next day. I gave it one last try today and the wait was fine at 1130am but I’ve still experience nothing but indigestion ever since and no other place makes me do that. The meal quality was not worth the price you pay monetarily and physically. I wouldn’t recommend Chuy’s.

Very warm and welcomed upon entry! Yummy chips and dip, we had a party of four Sunday for lunch. The grilled chicken salad was great, also the taco salad. I love their chips and dip, our server was a little slow in refilling drinks and chips but it was a busy time. The restrooms trash was over full which also could be from the busy time of day. We enjoy this restaurant, nice roomy booths and good menu choices.

Amazing. The end. 1. Great chips 2. Amazing Creamy jalapeño dip 3. To die for chimichanga 4. Great service 5. More Tex-mex than anything else. I have to drive across town to get there, but it is totally worth it. I’m not fond of the rice, but I usually fill up on everything else anyway. The chimichanga is bigger than most Mexican restaurants.

Chuy’s is one of my favorite chain restaurants in the boro. The atmosphere is lively, the portions are substantial, food is good, and its affordable. The creamy jalapeño is a must have. Its free and you just need to request it when you are seated. I found the recipe online and made it at home, its addicting and full of calories so beware! My favorite item on the menu is the«Big As Yo Face Burrito». They are quite big and delicious. The oven roasted chicken is my go to menu option. If you like a little spice substitute the regular rice for green chili rice, its the best! The Elvis Presley Memorial Combo is the biggest item on the menu and comes with an assortment of items, and for only like $ 11 its still cheap. You will need a to go box! I especially like to go Mon-Fri because they have a free nacho car(yes a car) from 4−7pm that has queso, beef, beans and salsa in it and its free as long as you purchase a drink.

Love this place! Never experienced Tex Mex until moving here but this place is one of my favorites. The food you order is always a little different from traditional Mexican but man is it good. They’re not afraid of flavor here. Not a cheap place to eat but definitely great food!

My wife and I get the fajitas for 1 and it is definitely enough for 2 people. The tortillas are amazing and so is the jalapeño ranch dip. Margaritas are very good but pricey.

Nice place. The décor is nice. Lots of tables and outdoor seating. They have kids meals. Service was friendly and quick. We went for lunch on a weekday. They give you chips, salsa and a creamy jalapeño buttermilk dip which is really good. Food was good.

First timers — went with a large group(8) plus baby. It was a Friday evening and we were greeted with friendly faces upon entering and seated promptly. The food was delicious — all the homemade sauces great! Loved it and would go again and again if there was one in my area. See the pictures of our food they speak for themselves ! All lots of flavor and could tell made in house fresh! Friendly service and casual dining.

My fiancé and I are Chuey’s regulars. It is not our first choice for Mexican, as many things we have tried there are mediocre(don’t get the nachos), but the items that are good keep us coming back again and again. We love the chips and salsa, queso dip, and creamy jalapeño dip. The pollo con queso is always good, their tacos and burritos are pretty good too. My favorite is to order the Elvis fried chicken, which is a butterflied chicken breast breaded with potato chips, but I substitute the regular topping for their Boom Boom sauce. I like to order a side of cheesy rice and their delicious house made tortillas along with it, and make my own little tacos with the chicken, cheesy rice and creamy jalapeño dip. If you want dessert, look no further than the tres leches cake, a white cake soaked in a mixture of cream, milk, and sweetened condensed milk and topped with whipped cream and strawberries. Yum! You have to know what to get and what not to get, but the good items make Chuey’s a delightful experience.

Okay– again, I don’t live in Murfreesboro anymore. but Chuy’s makes me wish I did :(First off — - get the salsa and the creamy jalepeno ranch. Then, order the«Chuy Gooey» dip…(not on menu). it comes in a giant bowl that you will NOT be able to eat by yourself and includes beef, beans, guac, cheese, sour cream, pico, etc. So good. Chicken Tortilla Soup is SOGOOD. Ugh. I miss Chuy’s.
