Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

Exactly what you expect for a quick nights sleep. Place was clean, service was courteous. Reminder this a quick night stop, so dont expect paint to be perfect or furniture to look and work like née.

Don’t be fooled. The inside of our room was rundown and dingy. The paint on the wall was UGLY and had white patch marks that needed to be painted. The bed spread was old and ugly with a hole in it. The chairs at the table had stains on both of them. The bathroom door was either rotten away or a dog had scratched away at it. The carpet had stains. The AC unit was loud.
The good things I have to say that earned them 2 stars are:
Lots of security cameras and I like that. The pool and the grounds looked beautiful. They allow pets with no restrictions on size for a fair price ($ 10).
The price was low. You get what you play for and you pay for what you get.
We will be staying somewhere else unless we have our dog with us again.

Cons: Tiny bathroom. Room smells like a former smoking room they attempted to de-​stink. Bed hard as a board, and nearly as comfortable. Power outlets very few, and, where you find them, they will cause you to lose power if your plug is even slightly loose, causing your laptop’s battery to be drained overnight.
Pros: Roof did not collapse.

Looking for a dirty, smoky hotel room with spotty internet? Then this is the place for you! I’m fully aware this is an Econo Lodge and I’m willing to scale because of that, but wow…

The pool was the only saving grace. The staff were very nice.
