If you want a good cupcake head across the street from gigis and go to julias bakery. Gigis cupcakes are just not up to par. I recently purchased 3 cupcakes that I was really excited to eat and each one was a let down. I purchased a strawberry short cake cupcake, it was just plain strawberry cake with strawberry icing. I purchased a bourbon velvet cupcake because I’ve never seen that before, it had zero taste of bourbon, it seemed to just be a chocolate cupcake with white icing. The last was stawberry champagne, again was just strawberry cake with white icing. Overall very disappointing, they were dry and too much icing.

Prices are up there but the cupcakes are amazing. My favorite is the banana cream. I think there is way too much frosting on each cupcake but I just scrape some off. The mini cupcakes are a good buy.

Oh my goodness. must stay away lol, never a disappointment the staff is friendly, the cupcakes are moist and delicious. Yes you have to love frosting here. we always split the cupcakes they are huge, it’s our treat place

I’ve been a customer for years and I can honestly say Gigi’s Cupcakes in Murfreesboro is the best! Beautiful, delicious cupcakes and excellent customer service! Some of my favorites from Gigi’s are White Midnight Magic, Coconut Snowball, and Chocolate Torte… and you have got to try the chocolate chip cheesecake… mmm! So many cupcakes to try, so little time!

This is my favorite GIgi’s location! They are always consistent with a fresh, delicious variety of cupcakes and helpful, friendly service. Salted caramel, Italian cream cake, chocolate banana, are just a few of my favorites. Yum!

We always get Gigi’s cupcakes for our clients. It’s important that our clients know how much we appreciate them. A dozen, fresh cupcakes from Gigi’s is a great way to communicate that they are special. Plus, the cupcakes come in a huge box that adds to that experience. If you want to impress your clients, give them cupcakes from Gigi’s.

I gave 2 stars for the cute presentation they have. The first time I came here I had a Boston Crème Cupcake. It was dry and the 3 inches of frosting on top tastes like crisco… GROSS! My second experience was a cupcake I was given as a gift. Again, WAY too much frosting and it’s yucky! I’ll take a Publix cupcake over these ANY day!

My visit to Gigi’s was just fine.
I have no complaints about the service.
The cupcakes were tasty.
That being said…
While fancy cupcakes is a nice idea. All the same, I really do not care for two inches of heavy butter cream icing sitting atop my cupcake. It’s just way too much. The cupcake itself is tasty. The price point is crazy high, in my opinion.
I so wish there was a McLovett’s Cupcakes in the ‘Boro. Now THAT’S a cupcake!

If you are a fan of cupcakes then you will probably love this place. Cupcakes are well worth the 4 bucks or so that they charge.

I had a hard time rating Gigi’s. So I decided to break it down.
Cupcakes: In my personal opinion the cupcakes at Gigi’s would get a 2.5 or 3. I find that they have WAY too much frosting, and they are larger than other companies cakes. They are very delicious, just too much. I always end up throwing away half the frosting and feeling extremely dizzy after eating them.
–But if you like a lot of frosting then Gigi’s is perfect for you! My husband LOVES frosting, so much so that he often eats the frosting that I cannot handle.
Customer Service: The customer service is great at Gigi’s. The employees are always very helpful and kind. We have been there a couple times and we have always had a really good expirience. The store is always clean, and the packaging is not only attractive, but efficient. It definately deserves all 5 stars.
So I decided to rate it in the middle of the two at four stars. It really comes down to personal preference :)

Best cupcakes I have ever eaten! You definitely get your money’s worth since you can’t eat more than one in a day!
Super sugary frosting topping delicious over-​sized cupcakes, and they come in various flavors based on the day of the week and season! Great to see this Nashville native expanding across the country!

Please allow me to gain consciousness from my sugar-​coma…
Ok, so I’ve had Gigi’s twice and I love it. The smell as soon as you step into the shop is quite intoxicating, and you instantly begin to salivating over the guilty pleasures your taste-​buds are about to endure.
Yesterday my co-​workers took me there to pick out a few to celebrate my birthday… we ended up getting a dozen. Ha!
So far, the flavors I have tried are the Red Velvet, White Midnight Madness, Texas Milk Chocolate, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, and Cookies ‘n Cream (I didn’t eat all of them whole… but even if I did, don’t judge me… want to fight about it!?)
Out of those flavors my favorite HAS to be White Midnight Madness. Perfect blend of dark chocolate. Least favorite was probably the Cookies ‘n Cream. The Chocolate Covered Strawberry was quite refreshing and had a taste very similar to the Blue Bell ice cream with the same flavor name.
Gigi’s is awesome. Yeah, I said it.

Dear Gigi,
Your buttercream frosting is really good, but there is so much on your cupcakes that I can’t help but think you might be compensating for something. The cake itself is ok. It’s a little dry though. Thankfully, I have no problem eating your killer icing by itself. But, I wouldn’t spend my calories on your cake. I would instead go to Society Bakery in Dallas for the true cupcake experience.
We tried Tiger Tail, Wedding Cake, Lemon, Caramel, and Italian Cream. Wedding Cake and Lemon were the best. Italian Cream didn’t have any nuts in it. It seemed more like coconut. I like coconut, but it just wasn’t what I was expecting.
Don’t be disheartened, Gigi. The candy toppers you put on your cupcakes are pretty cute, and everything looks good. Your service was sweet and kind, and the two girls who were working the day I stopped by are doing you proud.

You like cupcakes? This is your place.
I’d never seen a designer cupcake place, until now. The cupcakes are pretty large, very filling and they taste delicious. The icing can be a little much at times, but it doesn’t bother me a bit.
They run daily serving schedules, that way you can come back a couple days a week and work out a little routine… or at least that is what my girlfriend and I have done. I recommend that you stop in and try one today!

The cupcakes here are huge and amazing. The flavors are killer. Two people can easily split one cupcake, but hey, if you want to nom down one of these puppies, I’m not going to judge you.
