Food is ok but the service sucks… Every time we come here, the sever is the only person you NEVER see until they have your check. Every server is like this they stand around chatting and see you looking but no one takes the initiative to ask if you need anything… When the servers learn to check on tables more than once, listen to customers and hell even refill a drink ONCE we might come back. Until that changes I will not be back. Very disappointed!!!

I’ve tried to like this place. The food is average. The ambiance is ok for a sports bar. Service is fair.
The problem is all the damn flies. Flies everywhere.
It grosses me out thinking about it. Constantly swatting.
I think it speaks to cleanliness.

When you want a great experience eating with great service and really tasty food, don’t pass by Boomerjack’s in Murphy, TX. The covered patio has heat or mist depending on the weather. 5 Star Service.

Still don’t understand how this place is still open. To start I had to wait an hour and a half between ordering and the time I got my food, only to get a soggy wod of fries that God knows where they were sitting. Also there was a whole quarter of an uncut potato in the clump of fries. To add to the terrible service a walk into the bathroom and the entire floor is covered in pee, I understand how this might be a drunk customers fault however when I told the manager about it, he Seemed un interested and continued to flirt with the waitress and didn’t bother have someone go clean it up.

I thought this place closed several years ago. I just saw some sliders that looked really good on Facebook. I loved their burgers. Now that I know they are open, I can’t wait to come back.

Great awesome food, service was amazing top notch across the board.
The waitress was from Brazil and was one of the better servers win the greatest customer service I have had in a long time.
The manager stopped by and was pleasant to speak with, she was helping clean up and doing what I am not used to so seeing now the food
BAZINGA, BAM top notch man those brisqit tacos AMAZING !!!
Sat on the patio great place
Prices were spot on !!!
Will definitely come back !!!

Probably my last visit to this location. Their list of «specialty beers» is average, but then when you take away the beers that are listed, but not actually carried, it becomes anything but special. Out of the 10 craft beers on the menu only five were actually on tap. This is not the first time this has been the case. Apparently this location believes there is no need for a quality IPA, a good stout, or even a simple pale ale. The location near AT&T Stadium in Arlington has a much better offering. Too bad, because the food is decent and the amount of TVs make it a tempting choice to watch sporting events and I live nearby.

We have been to this location several times. We took advantage of the $ 22 meal with 1 app & 2 full entrees. I had the boneless buffalo wings & side salad and my husband had the fire roasted fajita quesadillas. We ordered the loaded cheese fries with ranch for our appetizer. Overall, it was a pretty good deal.
We had large budlights and the beers were extremely cold. Nothing better than cold beer.
The waitress was very friendly and took good care of us.

I’d much rather support Boomer-jacks over Chili’s or The Rock. I love the food, great family-friendly environment. One thing I will say is: hosts/hostesses really need to smile and welcome guests, every time we eat here, I feel like it’s an inconvenience to be seated. Other than that, really good food.

Tonight we decided to try a new place. We came to boomerjacks.
We decided to sit in the deck-great night to be out. The deck is awesome with fans, TVS and good music.
We sat down was greeted within a couple of minutes. We reviewed the menu and our waitress came back in about 5 – 7 minutes to take our order. Pretty prompt and attentive. Any longer and it would have been annoying. Took about 20 min to get our meal.
Ordered the Tacos El Carbon-cane out cold. My meal probably sat while our other medal was being prepared. It was ok.
Rib Eye-was ordered med rare came out a little over cooked. Tastes delicious.
Prices are a little high. but it was a good meal on a great deck.

Just an update, the patio is really nice so I bumped it up a notch. But they had no Bloody Mary mix at 11:20am. Waitstaff is a crap shoot. Today’s waitress was beautiful but not well trained. I’m not making a judgement about the flies again given the infestation Murphy is suffering from at present. However, the picture I’ve added suggests that someone doesn’t care too much about keeping flies out. A trash can by the door inside???

Nearly forgot to give a shoutout to the awesome staff at Boomerjacks. Kristen, Brooke, Ashley, Ted, Lilly, Maddy, Madison, Jessica and Kayla just to name a few. These servers provide awesome service and a memorable experience.
You guys rock and I appreciate the personalized service. Love it that you always take the time to learn a customers first name and use it.

Cool sports bar!
This is my kind of place. We found this place on Unilocal while searching for somewhere different to eat while in the area. This is a great place for hanging our with friends and watching sports. There is a patio bar if you like eating outside. Our server, Madison, was great and made sure we had everything we needed.
There were too many food selections to decide on just one thing so my best friend and I ordered a trio appetizer and entrée and shared them. We chose the mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and honey bbq wings for our appetizers and the Monte Cristo for our entrée. It was more than enough food. The wings were ok. I just prefer a lot less sauce on my wings. There seemed to be more sauce than chicken and it was overwhelming. The mozzarella sticks and onion rings were good. The Monte Cristo was fantastic.
I would recommend this place anytime one is in the mood for good bar food, great beer, and sports.

I’ve been here maybe 5 times hoping the food and/or service will get better but nothing’s changed. Service is still awful, I’m sure it’s because the servers are high schoolers who are probably more worried about turning/flipping tables than they are about the service that’s being delivered. The food is alright here — burgers are bland, wings shouldn’t even be called wings since there’s hardly any chicken on it (should be called saucy skin and bones instead) and the chips and salsa is boring.
The only thing great about this place I’d have to say is their bartender Ted! He’s wonderful so if you’re ever looking for a place to watch a game and have a beer, sit at the bar. He’s great company!

I would say 3 stars is about right for this place. I went in by myself for lunch on a weekday. The service was OK, as was the food. Nothing wrong with it but nothing special.
I am guessing this is a great place for hanging out and watching sports in the evening or on weekends. For lunch it is not a repeat place for me.
