buffalo burger were yummy. the place was quit on sunday lunch so it was perfect for us. i would not recommend bringing kids any other day because you can smell the cigarette.

I really enjoy Sachse Ice House, especially on Monday night when the burgers are half price. The beers are reasonably priced, and the burgers are excellent, in my opinion. It’s kind of small, so if there is a sports event on it can get kind of loud and crowded; but good for them, that’s the way a sports bar should be.

The place seems back on top of it again. Service is great as always. The place was clean as always. The food was great. We met some family here, they loved the bison burgers. Our catfish was good. The margaritas on the rocks were great.

I have passed by the Ice House svetal times but nevet stopped until tonight. All you can eat fried catfish. It was excellent and our server, Ashley was reallt friendly and super helpful. The fish is super sized and fried to perfection. We will be back.

This place is awful! The bartender was so disrespectful to customers! I’m not sure how they get any business. The food is not so great either. The only reason I’m giving it one star is because the drinks were so cheap.

Cool looking bar. Packed on a Friday afternoon. Rude waitress! I asked her what is her favorite appetizer and she responded, «I don’t know! I can’t eat the food here it makes me sick!» … Umm ok! Beer only please! I think she needs some training! You aren’t supposed to say things like that!

This is my new go to place for dinner mon & tues. ½ price Burger Monday.50 cent wings on Tues… All you can eat catfish Wednesday. Large filets! Great service and friendly locals. They are building a big patio so that will be great!

My new go-​to dive bar. Waitress was very nice and they have a lot of good beer on tap for such a small place. Will return often.

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch and a couple of beers after a car show at the high school. I had a cheeseburger and she had the catfish. Both were very tasty!
The young man that tended bar was prompt, pleasant, and courteous. We talked about a squash game that was on TV and his earlier playing and coaching days. Nice guy. He made us feel welcome and our beers were cold.
There was a mixed crowd in that afternoon. A couple that sat with us at the bar. A group of guys that had obviously been playing golf, and a smaller group throwing darts.
We own a business in the area and now refer Sachse Icehouse to others. Go try them out and have a good time. You will be glad you did.

Great Sachse/​Murphy neighborhood bar. I didn’t expect much when we stopped in but I had a goodnight. The lady bar tender is fun and accommodating even though it looks like that she’s the only one running the bar the whole night. This will be in our rotation list.

Paul was an amazing bartender!!! He got to know us personally and gave us the best service!!! I loved getting behind the scenes tips! They have the best wings and fries!!! I will definitely be back to visit Paul!

The beer was super cold… (San Tan Sex Panther Porter-​a must yet if you can get over the name.) The fried pickles had an unexpected spicy kick, the ranch tasted homemade, the wings were good and the catfish was fresh and amazing. The highlight for me was the coleslaw which was better than my mom’s and that is saying something. Definitely will visit again.
There is limited parking, yes, it is a small bar, but we had a blast!!!

I tried Sachse Ice House after purchasing a Groupon. We decided to go on half priced burger night. My husband and I ordered burgers with regular fries and sweet potato fries, an order of wings and a couple of cocktails. The food was surprisingly good for a bar. Space can be pretty tight as there is only bar seating unless you’re playing poker which seats 6 – 8 people per table. Parking can also be a pain with the small lot. Although we visited on half priced burger night, we could not use our groupon and the special together… not a deal breaker as burgers are $ 7-​$ 9 depending on which size ordered. We will visit again.

Glad to see a new place in the area but I think I will give it a few more weeks and try it again.
The Bison Burger was actually good and the hot chicken wings were too but most of that was overshadowed by the slow service. There was 1 person tending bar and waiting tables, not good.
I can see me going back because the beer menu looked good and there were enough TV’s to make it a good option to watch football.

The beer is ice cold … so there’s that.
Décor and food are exactly like big brother Addison Point — not the cool Addison Point you loved pre-​2013; it’s like the new Addison Pont, the one your mother hangs out in.
The bartender will drop as many references to his cage-​fighting experiences as humanly possible.

Nice little bar for the Sachse/​Wyle area. Had a groupon for the food which was amazing for your average bar food (the bison burger &wings)!!The drinks were tasty and strong&our male server was a cool dude, very attentive.
Good prices &music and games (a beer pong game!) but too small of a place.
