This place is a cash cow for the owner. The food here is subpar frozen and of a very poor quality. I’m a chef and I can spot the shortcuts a mile away. If you come here prepare to, for example, pay $ 17 plus tax&tip for a butterflied chicken breast with a watery salad. I ate with my family who all had similar experiences and it’s really shocking that a place like this can stay open. Probably from naïve vacationers who aren’t familiar with the area. The Icing on the cake was the cheap foil packets for all their condiments(ketchup, mustard, mayo) as if it is to expensive to buy that by the gallon and refill bottles like every other restaurant. Usually I check Unilocal before going places but was on vacation. Me and my family paid the price for this mistake, save your time and money and do the same.

Worst place ever. We sat at a table where I was told that we would have a server. After 10 min of waiting I see the table directly beside ours getting service. But no ours. No biggie. So then I go to the bar and start a tab. The bartender was rude and not friendly. No biggie. I then send my friend to the bar to get a drink under my name. He was told that I didn’t have a tab. Mind you it was 5 min since I opened my tab. I had to come to the bar myself. All three bartenders told me that I didn’t have a tab. Very big problem!!! These people had my debit card and id. I told them that I just started it and that this matter was very serious. All three bartenders then ignored me and started back working, leaving me standing there like wtf is wrong with you people. I had to yell to get them to take this matter seriously. This all took about 20min of me saying trust me you have my card. One of them finally came over with a dumb grin on her face saying«oh yeah we do have it». Well thank you Mrs. Hillbilly, you have solved my problem. The next day I had a bad feeling so I checked my bank account and they double charged me. Coincidence? This place is a dump and has roaches. Don’t go there unless you want to be treated like crap by hillbilly bartenders and possibly having your debit card stolen.

I really enjoyed this place. All week I would see it packed and just walk by. I decided last night to watch game 6 of the finals. I found a seat at the bar. I ordered the shrimp po boy with fried. I could quickly see why this place is busy. The waitresses are quite attractive and the waiters are handsome I guess. Shrimp po boy with fries. The fries had a Cajun seasoning and we’re quite taste. I just ate the shrimp out of the po boy. I didn’t feel like more bread other than the breading on the shrimp. I am not sure what the sauce was but it gave a nice kick to the shrimp. Holly the bartender was amazing. Even though I was just drinking water she did not make me feel like I was just taking up a seat to watch the game. She was very busy due to the other bartender being obviously in pain. At no time did I see her not smiling and being nice to everyone. Even the people with complaints did not take her smile. A++ bartender.

My sister and I were on vacation and decided to stop in to this little dive. First, the atmosphere is okay. We sat outside(being summer) and it wasn’t too busy(on a Friday evening no less). The patio was probably half full and the inside was pretty much empty. We only looked at the drink menu, which clearly states on the bottom(in very large print, on every page) there are no refunds or exchanges. Now, I’ve been to a ton of places, but I can’t ever recall seeing this on anyone’s menu. There are also no prices on this menu — anywhere. They had their speciality ‘fish bowl’ drinks(which actually come in legit fish bowls), but we decided to go for the little frozen mixed drink that comes in a pineapple(which is about ½ the size of the fish bowl). We get our pineapple(which was even smaller than expected because they leave the core all the way in the center). The drink was okay. It wasn’t anything special. Then comes the check. Brace yourselves, you’ll want to hear about this. $ 25.00. For a drink. ONE drink. (The couple that had the fishbowl beside us — that was double the drink, that was $ 25 too) I have never in my entire life paid that much for one drink. I was appalled. I was frustrated and pissed to say the least. The service wasn’t that great, and there was no use even saying anything about the appalling price of the drink to the server(who was from Ireland and really had no idea about anything going on). I will never return to this place, and I will always warn everyone who does. It is completely unacceptable. There are so many other great places in MB, I’m glad I’ve learned my lesson from this one.

Good drinks, not too expensive considering where the bar is. Clean and well kept. Service a little lack luster. Expensive for food.

Went here on a Wednesday night and the service and food was great. Our server was Lala and she was really friendly and helpful. She made us her favorite fishbowl and we agreed that it should definitely be on the menu. The restaurant has nice ambiance, tvs at each booth, a wide selection of liquor and outdoor seating. Food was fast and tasty.

Not good, not worth the $$$, and probably worse, for they included a tip for a group of only 3. Sorry, but charging a tip for a big group is kind of acceptable, but for only three people… NOT. And, as explained to me, the type of clientele that this place attracts kind of forces them to do this, and I guess that explains why this place was so sub-standard. For sure, I would never go here again, would suggest that you not go there, and say that there happen to be much better places. Oh, the service actually was not so bad(but not that great, either), and I would have tipped more, as I usually do… but in my case, this low-rent practice actually cost the server money, and as far as me ever going there again, it has cost them potential new business. The food was not that good, the beer was not that special, and why they made people get ketchup out of little foil packs was beyond me. Again, maybe the clientele that they attract is simply not the kind of place for a patron like me. And, as you can see from the other negative reviews, this place is probably one your should pass.

BEWAREEEEBEWAREEE. Food was decent. drinks were amazing. The stars rate the staff mainly. if only i could just rate a zero I would. I enjoyed the cajun fries and calmari. The staff was no where what I expected. only one girl out of the 3 others were nice and cared to help us. Too busy standing around laughing and gossiping. Our actual server Alexia likes to flirt with other peoples boyfriends im assuming instead of doing her own job! Never in my life have I had a waitress like that before. Will not come back thats for sure. Oh, and they grad checks auto even if you don’t have a party and like to charge you for alot of «extra sauces or other stuff».weird. Everything is too expensive for bar food.

Terrible food quality for a high price. We ordered a dozen oysters and they were small and tasteless. Two of us got the fried grouper sandwich. They were dry and bland and served on gummy ciabatta bread that sucked even more flavor out of the fish. I set the bread aside and ate just the fish but it was still crappy. Third member of our party had the oyster po boy and she said it was 2 of 5 stars. Onion rings were good and the pitcher of white sangria was ok. Our bill total was $ 82 not including tip so the total ended up $ 100. Worst $ 100 at a restaurant I’ve ever spent and that’s not an exaggeration. We complained about the oysters but the waiter didn’t seem too concerned. My friend that also had the grouper is having major stomach issues tonight although I’m fine.

This place was near our hotel and we decided to check it out since it was so convenient. It’s your typical bar but one thing that stood out was the tvs in each booth! The waitress was so nice and attentive. The menu may be a bit pricey, but the food was beyond my expectations. It was a great choice in the end.

Good, but nothing great. Service was really fast and friendly. The food came out really fast… Almost too fast? Like it was microwaved or sitting under a heat lamp. Food was decent… But not great. I got French dip sandwich which was ok. Husband got chicken breast and said it was ok but a little bland. We were there on a Thursday evening around 8 and the bar was definitely in full swing. Probably a fun place to go for just drinks.

A friend and I visited here right after finally arriving from our long trip into Myrtle Beach and we were so glad we did! It was right near our hotel and we were quickly able to sit outside although it was a very busy night. It also provided a great view of the pier area along with the lit up Ferris Wheel. Our waitress was great and gave us some tips about where to go(Broadway at the Beach, Crocodile Rocks, Brookgreen Gardens) and what to avoid(Helicopter tours). She also recommended the Mai Tai Fish bowl which had us both a little silly in no time! I enjoyed the Blackened chicken sandwich with a salad and it was delicious! Some of the best blackened chicken I’ve ever had! I would absolutely come here again!

We were looking for a quiet spot for lunch and stopped in here. The waitress was quick and kept our drinks filled, we ordered the po-boy and chicken sandwiches. The po-boy was great! And the chicken was good but a little tough. They have seasoned frys wich I loved! And after a few minutes a girl approached us to take our picture for a free postcard. It was a great experience all in all.

Our beautiful server should have been a model! Not only was she beautiful, she was an excellent server with a friendly attitude and a great sense of humor. Our drinks came out quickly and accurately and full to the rim. She checked in on us appropriately. Hubby and I ordered the nachos and not a single one was left on the plate! Our son had a side of fries and they were served to him in a BOWL! Totally surprised about that but they were hot and yummy. Yes, mama stole a few from her Marine. Our friend had her fries served on the side of her plate, not in a bowl, and although they started out hot, they cooled off a lot sooner than our son’s fries. Hmmmm… curious. I think the bowl was a good trick.

Over-priced beach dive with easy access to parking and the ocean. If your fav food colors are brown and yellow washed down with a frothy beer, then you’ll love it here. Ordered the blackened grouper sandwich that came with Cajun fries. It was served on a ciabatta roll with chopped lettuce and a tomato slice on the side. All the condiments were individual plastic packets. At $ 12.95 it was high on carbs and low on protein. While the grouper was blackened well, it was small and overwhelmed by the roll. A sandwich, a Yeugling draft and tip $ 23.00. Welcome to the Strip! PS: Our server was efficient and friendly.

This is a cool little place. The parking can be abit tight, but if you can get in, its worth the effort. There is a good sized front deck with tables. Inside, there are booths that line the walls with a personal television at each. There is also ample bar spaces if that’s your thing. They have a large amount of beers/liquors on hand. They also have specials should you want that. I got the bud light lime on draft and it was fresh as all get out. They also have fishbowl drinks if your down to drop $ 15−20+ on them. I got a spicy cheeseburger and loved it. The bread was fresh and not too hard. The meat cooked perfect. Topped with cheese, jalapeños, and a spicy sauce. So often an advertised«spicy or hot» burger is only mild, not the case here. The fries were cooked well and crispy. If you’re in the mood for some good drinks and bar food and in MyrtleBeach, definitely try here.
