Amazing food and service! I had a certificate which helped with the bill but the prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. The crab puppy appetizer was great, shrimp was huge and delicious(a bit salty but i like it that way), and the crabby patty was an amazing burger. I will certainly come here again. To be fair i do have to comment on the negative. It is a small restaurant and bar so if there’s a crowd, you may have to wait for a table. It’s worth the wait. The restaurant lacked atmosphere, not a lot of decoration. But i come for good food, not atmosphere so it isn’t really a negative, just a comment. Highly recommend this place!

I have been wanting to come here for some time. We arrived Sunday night and were told they were out of crab and were closing early. Well, they were quite kind, so we’ll be back. This is a shanty type structure with some psychedelic painted hand chairs and unique pieces of art that I don’t know if it is for sale or just appearance. However there are quite a few pieces. There is an outdoor patio and indoors there are several bar height counters, as well as a full bar and tables. Their bathrooms are to the right of the entryway and they are clean and tidy, marked by Mr. Crab and Mrs. Crab. The aroma of the crab legs took me from the moment I walked in. My mouth was watering for crab legs and if they filled the long bar tables with them, I felt I could eat all. I was very hungry and looking forward to this meal. Our waitress had been there 4 ½ years and for the life of me, I cannot remember her name. She was the sweetest, most accommodating and polite woman. We ordered our drinks and for some reason, my husband backed out and ordered a hamburger. A hamburger! Jeez. I ordered the dungenous crab legs, there were no sides on the menu that came with the crab legs unless you want to pay another $ 2.95 each, as well as the $ 25.00 for the crab. Ok, well forget that. We sat and waited and waited. Our waitress came to the table assuring us that out meal will be out in a few minutes. Mind you, there were only about 4 tables taken at the time we went. We continued to wait until I asked the waitress if there were any rolls or bread and butter, and she said no breads or salads are provided before the crab, unless you want to pay extra. We continued to wait until finally our dishes arrived. My husbands burger and fries looked like the usual dish. I received this huge red square dish with the dungenous crab legs and real melted butter. The plate also had a seafood cracker to help. I was so hungry I was tearing into the legs and didn’t even taste the flavor until after a few bites. Let me tell you this was the best crab legs I have ever eaten. Like an animal, I was tearing through the legs and my husband, chewing his burger was looking at me, put it down and began to dig into my crab legs. He enjoyed his burger and regretted not ordering the same as me, but he helped me devour this amazing dish. Crab legs are not very filling and I was disappointed about the lack of salad, sides or bread and rolls. However these crab legs were absolutely delicious and I will forgive them for that, but just keep in mind for $ 25.00 you get no extras.

Absolutely wonderful seafood. As others have mentioned, this is a slow serve restaurant so if you’re starving it would be wise to order an appetizer to munch on while waiting for your entrée. It took 35 minutes to get our lunch and there were only 2 other guests there when we arrived. Totally worth the wait and we’ll be back. We both really enjoyed what we ordered. My crabcake sandwich was amazing. Perfectly seasoned and no fillers. My husband ordered a combo plate with 4 large scallops and a soft shell crab. They use really fresh, high-quality seafood and it makes a big difference. Negatives: We wanted the blue crab lunch special which is $ 2 per crab with a minimum of 12, but they didn’t have any. We were charged .65 each for a glass of water. Sodas are $ 2 with only 1 free refill. The sides seemed awfully expensive.
