Awful. Delivery took over 2.5 hours despite being told 1 hour. That would be fine if the pizza was any good. This is the worst pizza I have ever eaten. It might as well have been frozen pizza(at least that has some taste). It was almost as if they ran out of ingredients. Hardly any cheese or any toppings, it was ice cold, and essentially tasted awful. It was truly disgusting. I called to air my concerns and ask for some type of a refund. The worker was really nice, but the owner was yelling in the background«this happens all the time, no no no!» Ok sir, maybe if you just stopped making crappy pizza, people would come back to your restaurant, and this wouldn’t happen all the time. Seems pretty simple to me. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

We enjoyed our food the first night in town we ordered a pizza n went to our room. Then during the week we decided to dine in it was horrible service. Got there around 8:30 told us no subs just pizza. We got a pizza, wings and chicken tenders. When our food arrived the chicken tenders came with one tender and few bite size, well being a restaurant owner at one time I knew it was the bottom of bag sorry this chic isn’t not paying $ 6.99 for one tender so that went back n he brings out three tenders lol I didn’t say anything just let it go. Sofa was flat n no toilet paper my daughter had to call me to bring her some. Also turning business away at 8;45 when they closed at 9. I will never return here again

A family of sixteen, we ordered 5 large pizzas: a cheese, half cheese-half pepporoni, white, greek, and capri. We also ordered garlic knots, a greek salad, and a 10 inch gluten free cheese pizza. All of the following is true: our half cheese-half pepporoni was ALL pepporoni, the garlic knots had NO flavor whatsoever, the«greek» salad was LITERALLY a plastic container filled with old brown lettuce, and the driver completely FORGOT our capri! The driver got lost on the way and we were on the phone with him for 15 minutes trying to give him directions. When he finally arrived and we told him about our missing pie, he said he would look into it. 2HOURS after we placed our order, a different driver showed up with our capri, but it was the pizza they made when we placed our order, obviously sitting under a heat lamp for over 90 minutes! A call to the manager was a complete waste of time, as he simply couldn’t be bothered by our petty complaints because he was to busy overseeing the preparation of crap I wouldn’t feed my dog. My family has been vacationing on the outer banks for thirty years. We have a pizza night on every trip. A misguided attempt to try something new led to the worst pizza experience all of us have ever had down there. Avoid this place like the plague! Duck Pizza Company is the way to go. Maxximmuss delivers maximum suckiness, and they will never get our business again, I TELLYOU!!!

When they decide to do a proper pizza with the proper amount of ingredients it is really good.

We had the lunch special that included two cheese slices and a soda. The slices for tasty the crust had a good flavor and was crunchy. We liked it a lot and would go back. The owner was nice as well and was the one who served us.

This was not your typical pizza place. The owner was fantastic and took care of us the entire time. The place was really nice and totally spotless! The pizza was a perfect combo of just enough cheese and sauce. So fresh we watched him make our dough. I repeat, if your in nags head NC, try this place. You’ll be back!

Order a delivery order, they said 30 min. An hour later I call and my phone calls go to voicemail 20 min before they close. Go to yellow submarine, wayyyyy better!

I just had the Mediterranean Platter from the Nags Head location, OMG! This meal is a smörgåsbord of deliciousness. I HIGHLY recommend the Mediterranean Platter for anyone who needs a break from Maxximmuss’ AMAZING pizza. Two thumbs up and five stars.

This place was kind of disappointing. The best part was the service. Both people working were extremely friendly and apologetic when they didn’t get my order correct. However; everything else was pretty«meh». I had wings and a cheesesteak. I think for 12 wings it was about $ 15. Seriously? Come one now, that is ridiculous. It’s my own fault for not looking at the price before ordering. Anyway the wings were pretty large but not large enough to justify more than a dollar each. Next was the sauce. I ordered Hot, but it was really like a combination of BBQ and Hot and it was pretty gross. I also ordered a cheesesteak. It was around $ 10 for the sandwich. It was pretty average. It was kind of small and included very little meat and cheese, however it did have a lot of fried onions. The bread was the best part of the cheesesteak. Not sure what type of roll it was, but I really liked it. Overall though there was nothing special to write about. Being from Philly I could bash it, but i won’t because I understand not everyone is as lucky as people from Philly to have authentic cheesesteaks. In all a meal for a single person came close to $ 30 after I added on a bottle of water. That’s pretty expensive for a 1 person meal that only included average food. It’s kind of hard to recommend this place to anyone, but I guess if nothing else is open or other places are busy this place would be ok.

SLOW, SLOW, we have been waiting over 35 minutes on a med. pizza and our waiter has yet to come and let us know what is going on. If it wasn’t the fact my 5 yrs is hungry we would leave right now. We will never be back and save yourself from this by calling take out.

Ewww. This place is terrible. Bad pizza. Untrained cashier that needs to talk to the dude making pizzas for everything. They forgot ingredients on the pizzas and they charge more than is on the menu. Not a good choice. Even if you are in the mood for pizza

Tourists beware! If you like pizza with the absolute minimum ingredients, you might like these. We ordered 4 pizzas last night and either they were running low on ingredients or they are just too cheap to make a good pizza. Either way, very poor excuse for a pizza.

Fantastic! We moved here a few months ago and have been looking for a consistently good pizza place and we have found here. The Margarita and the White pizza are our favorites.

The pizza was sub-par. We ordered 5 pizzas and we only received 2. They did then bring the other 3, but one was supposed to have mushrooms and pepperoni, and it did not have mushroom and pepperoni. The salad was pretty good. It also took us an hour and a half to get our pizzas. Not sure who’s fault but we will not order again.

Family stopped by after an afternoon at the beach. Pizza was delicious. We had the Supreme and the ingredients were fresh and on a homemade crust. Was worried that it would be just ok pizza based on the reviews but we really liked it. Would eat here again!

Great tasting pizza with a large selection of choices. Definitely beats the chain store pizzas and worth the price difference. The ingredients they use are much Bette and obviously fresher. We ordered takeout so can’t really comment on the atmosphere.

Ohhhh… I’ve been dying to review this place. $ 60 for 3 small pizzas and 4 canned soft drinks?!! Yup. The only reason we ate here was because it offered a gluten free option which was a $ 16 small — 11″ pizza. As far a GF pizzas go, this was very good, probably the best I have tasted and it comes on a disposable pan to avoid cross contamination. I didn’t like that they didn’t divulge the fact that they didn’t serve fountain drinks and brought us out cans of soda and a bottle of aquafina, later to find out that we’d be charged $ 2 for nonrefillable drinks. The regular pizza was good, not great, definitely not worth the exorbitant cost. Yeah the crust is good,(think Papa John’s but lighter and less chewy) but I’d only eat here again for the gluten free pie.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. Hand tossed homemade thin crust done just right. toppings were fresh, a cheap meal considering the OBX. We have a favorite place at home because of their awesome artisan crust, we all agreed that this pizza crust was even better. Also, when I came into order, I asked several tables how their pizza was and they gave all thumbs up. As for the one star reviews, gotta say, who the heck goes to the outer banks and orders wings? No one should even serve them there, and vegan? those are some high expectations. We’re from the midwest, love a deep dish, and artisan thin, but this thin perfect crust made me want 5 to take home. It will probably haunt me forever. Go there and get pizza, nothing else, you’re welcome.

Mediocre pizza and service. I went here Memorial Day weekend with friends. We hung around the register, waiting for them to take our order, and it was a long wait. There were two guys working there(one making pizza, the other who handles money) plus a third guy who was in training and just watching the guy make pizzas. We got the order in, then had to wait again to be rung up(my friends weren’t sure if it would be proper to just sit outside and pay afterwards). The pizza came out fast. The guy put down the pizza and said he would be back with plates, but he never came back. So we ate off the pizza pan and eventually the second guy came with the second pizza and he got us the plates. He said that they were«4 people down» and apologized for the wait. We got a pepperoni, which was greasy and didn’t have much pepperoni, and a white pizza, which was good. I liked the thin and chewy crust. Besides pizza, they have other items like sandwiches, calzones, falafel, gyros, salads, etc.
