Not worth the price. The overall quality of the food is ok. We will be trying other places next time.

I visit outer banks every year and have for a long time, this is the only place we will order or pick up pizza from, look forward to the first night unpacking and having delicious pizza and apps I don’t have to cook

We went back and tried a sub, AWESOME. My biggest complaint about subs from other restaurants (e.g. Subway) is that they are commonly made with Buddig quality deli meat and they’re given good rates because the cheapest part (bread) is good. This place has none of that! Boar’s Head quality here with pretty good bread too!

Pizza was $ 90 for 6 pizzas. Maybe frozen pizza quality. Big maybe!!! It was not about the price more about the quality. Go somewhere else for good pizza.

The girl suggested to get the pepperoni rip curls so we got it as an appetizer and we split the buffalo pizza! Tummies are happy

Not very good at all. Quick delivery though. Wings were weird. They were breaded and I’m not even sure what some of them were. Oddly shaped. Hoagies were so so. Probably try somewhere else next time for sure.

Honestly, the Yellow Submarine has good quality pizza. The pizza sauce does have quite a bit of garlic, but I found it accented the crust flavor. I know this is purely opinion based, but I do have to give them kudos on their «Mighty Meat» pizza and «Classic White.» They used fresh ingredients on the white pizza, which included spinach and tomatoes. I would say they have better pizza than most franchise pizza places. It is worth a try in my opinion and I would eat there again.

So i guess we were here during an «off» time of day although there weren’t many tables open. (about 1:00 pm) We did not have to wait, seated immediately. Service was fine, not stellar but attentive. Ordered x-​large pizza half cheese, half with spinach and some drinks. Pizza arrived hot within 7 – 10 minutes. Good pizza we thought. Amosphere average, location decent. Sorry to see the poor reviews, we had a good experience.

If I could give it zero stars I would. What a joke of a place now I know why they give coupons. That is the only way they could sell any. First English I think is 3^rd or 4^th language, very rude workers, and done know the menu. This is as they say a tourist trap, stay away far far away.

Pizza wasn’t that great, Philly steak was terrible, fries were very average. Would not go back. Nice people who worked there though.

If you’re not sitting in the dining room due to high carry out volume on Saturday nights, you better make sure that you got your act together. Only one person working the register, orders backed up like crazy. 1 hour and 20 minutes for in house pick up??? Need to fix that asap. At least 15 – 20 people in waiting area. You could do twice the business with a better carry out system, well trained employees and another pizza oven, or a conveyor oven. The girl up front is not pleasant at all. She lets the customers come in and just stand there. How about explaining the situation so people aren’t walking around wondering what’s going on?! Another dude that came up, asked if he could help me, stared at the register for at least 2 minutes, said he was going to look for my order and never came back. Stars may go up once I get to eat my food… if that ever happens… Never mind. Been doing this for 28 years so don’t doubt my knowledge. I only want to see every business successful. The other days may run better service but this Saturday was a nightmare.

This pizza place was the worst food we ordered the entire week we were visiting the OBX. When placing the order, the girl receptionist had no idea if they delivered to our rental and had to ask her co-​worker if they did … We were only 4 minutes away! My husband is from NY and his pepperoni pizza was less than stellar and my white sauce chicken pizza wasn’t very tasty. We tried another pizza joint which is located on Manteo called «la dolce vita mantia» and it was amazing! Go there instead to order pick up!

This place is great! Staff is awesome especially Penny! Come to town for a couple days and ate there 3 times! Subs are awesome and high plus made with Boars Head Deli meats! When in town I’ll be here.

One of the few places where you can get good food, good service, good value on the obx. I got rip curls with pepperoni, which was DELICIOUS!!!

I agree with most of the other reviewers with the 3 star rating. This place isn’t anything spectacular.
My family and I ordered 3 pizza, two with one topping only, and then two orders of wings and the total came close to $ 60. Yeah, I’m not even exaggerating. If we wanted delivery it would have been about an hour, so we decided to pick up the food instead which would have taken 30 minutes instead.
The wings were only so-​so. They varied in size, and the hot flavor, wasn’t very spicy. The honey bbq had more of a kick than the hot for some reason. As for the pizza. It was below average. First off, a large is tiny. I think two people could easily split a large and still be hungry afterwards. For the toppings, they really skimped on them. The plain cheese was the best by far, but even that was only mediocre. They could have used a little more sauce and cheese in my opinion.

Pizza was delicious, salad was enough to share, and the twisty cheesy garlic knots were yummy! Service was great and our waitress was very friendly! Would definitely go back!

So-​so service, medicore pizza, but thier wings were great. A bit on the pricey side, but I guess you pay for the convinence of having a pizza joint right within walking distance of your beach house.

YellowSubmarine has changed over the years. It used to be a casual order-​at-​the-​counter place but now tables are waited which is a little odd since the soda machine is self-​serve. As an avid Diet Coke fan the Pepsi machine was a let down and I couldn’t help but notice the lack of the old Ms. Pacman arcade game. They know have food ball. The menu is a mix of sandwiches made with Boar’s Head meats, pizza, calzones and salads.

We have eaten there a couple of times while vacationing with the family. The first thing that drew me in was the name as I am a big Beatles fan. The food made me come back the second time. I recommended it to the rest of my wife’s extended family that was vacationing there as well. They have subs, pizza, wings. We stuck with the subs, the bread was very good. They play Beatle music and sell T-​shirts, beach towels, coozies, etc. Located in a strip mall that has some great stores.
