Mary’s Pizza Shack

The food here is good. But the customer service skills are lacking big time. I feel like no one knows what they are talking about. And no one is on the same page. Also the servers girl looked like she hates her job and didn’t smile. When your working customer service or in hospitality I expect a smile or at least be friendly. Rant over.

Used to love this place… not so much now. Ordered dinner size pasta, the order came as a dinner size for a 3 year old. Salad tasted great but $ 3.50 for 2 tiny slices of chicken added. Guess I won’t be back until they get some new management in that place.

I’ve been a long time Mary’s customer. Been to many locations, and have only had bad experiences with the Napa store. Tonight was the second bad experience, with the wait time for delivery being an hour and 45 minutes. Then the driver forgot one of the three things we ordered. I’ll give it to her– she made it to the store and back in 20 minutes. However; when I order a dinner sized portion of gnocchi (for $ 14!), is it crazy to expect that I get enough so as I cannot see the bottom of the container it comes in? This will probably be my last time dining at Mary’s. The prices have skyrocketed and the product is not worth the expensive cost. $ 56 for a medium pizza, salad, and piss poor amount of overcooked gnocchi? Thanks, but no thanks.

Super pleased with this wonderful service, our waiter Adrianne was absolutely amazing! Made our dinner here a million times better the food was great didn’t take long even though it was pretty crowded at dinner time on a Friday! This was one of the best experiences I’ve had at ANY Mary’s pizza.

Terrible service, our waitress came to the table three times and once was to pick up the check. Food portions are pretty small for the price you’re paying.

$ 60 for two medium pizzas… Additionally they were not even close to being ready when I arrived. First time here and I will never return. Little Ceasars is down the street and I will continue to give them by business. Absolutely absurd that people think they can charge this for pizza…

I stopped in to grab a pizza, and I will definitely be back to try out some of the other items on the menu! The Sonoma Garden pizza was fabulous, I added some sausage, and it was the perfect lunch for my long day. Staff was extremely friendly… keep up the good work!

I have never been so disappointed. I called due to my pizza being so burnt, after they sent out another one it was even more disappointing than the first. First pizza was burnt and the second one was so undercooked it was like dough, way too much marinara sauce, and was cut horribly. For the price of this pizza I am truly disappointed and I was a frequent customer.

You go on your lunch to Marty’s because I like their salads. I leave and stop to eat my lunch by the river before going to work. No fork, no napkins… What?! I call them them and we don’t give out forks or napkins unless you ask. I asked them so your that cheap. Never going back. Is it to much to give you a fork to eat the overpriced food you just bought so we can eat it. Shame on you Mary’s!

Last night ³⁄₁₉ my family and I dined at Mary’s and had the worst experience. We don’t go out much because it’s expensive and compound that with a disaster of a meal and service is beyond frustrating! 6 orders taken at the same time, 3 arrive, 2 with mistakes (ordered salads with no cheese, both had cheese) 30 minutes later I got up from the table and asked our waitress (whom was leaning on the counter) when the rest of the tables order would be up, we were almost done and were purposely eating slow. She pointed at the kitchen and said «in a few minutes». Offered nothing else. The restaurant was not busy and we were waiting on 3 bambino pizzas. We could have literally finished and left before the rest of the order came. My son finally got his pizza and there was a hair in it! The manager came and said «I guess I’m suppose to come check on you?» He told her about the hair and she asked if he remembered what color it was! He said long and blonde. The manager said «oh ok I’ll ask her». Ask her what? Seriously! Offered to take it off the bill but took the cheaper pizza off. Then to finish off the disaster today my other son was eating his leftovers and found a rubber band on his pizza. Unbelievable. $ 100 meal and this is what we get. No thank you. Won’t do that again! Shame on you Napa Mary’s for not caring. PS this is not the first dining in experience or take out… done!

I’ve been going to Mary’s for decades.
The quality has really gone down. I’m sure Mary would be disappointed.
My last experience was an 1.5hrs to get two macaroni and cheeses, a bambino pizza and a side salad. My pizza was under cooked. The Mac and cheese was runny, milky with a little Parmesan.
Poor service. Poor food. Don’t go!

Ordered pesto breadsticks a large pepperoni, olive and mushroom pizza and large salad to go. As she handed me my order I asked if the ranch was ther for the breadsticks? Yes she replied all in the bag. Got home to Yountville no ranch no pepper flakes and no cheese. To make matters worse it was a medium
Pizza! I like Mary’s pizza but this is the third time that have messed up a to go order !

Service is always fast and friendly. Even on busy Friday and Saturday nights. I always go back for the same thing: Toto’s pizza. It has a great balance of veggies, meats and carbs. Well, most of the time. Once they served me a pizza with so many toppings, it was a giant mound. You would think it’s a good thing, but your veggies are undercooked, and the meats are just warm.
I order delivery once. Never again. I guess it’s normal to charge a delivery fee. But the pizza had so few toppings, it was kind of a sad pizza.
Not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but certainly not the worst. A good compromise between artisanal pizzas that always leave me hungry after, and large chains which lack flac

I just love Mary’s Pizza Shack being new to Napa and not knowing where to go or who to order from can be confusing. However, I found Mary’s Pizza Shack online saw they delivered and had great prices. The two pizza’s I always order are both vegi pizza’s from Mary’s along with a small pepperoni for my son. They are tasty and made with quality ingredients. Staff is always friendly over the phone and a few employees seem to remember me when I call. Now that’s customer service. The drivers are always on time and your pizza is hot when delivered. This is the only place I order pizza from… You guys ROCK!

I have been a customer of Mary’s for years. I enjoy their food even though their prices continue to go up. I called tonight after a rough day to have a salad and a large pizza delivered. Carolyn assisted me (she was friendly, personable and helped me). I was given an ETA of 45 – 60 for delivery. After an hour and a half I called because my pizza still wasn’t here. A young man picked up the phone, put me on hold for 4 minutes then proceeded to tell me he couldn’t find my order. I checked my bank, had been charged $ 47 dollars so I called back. Put on hold again but Carolyn assisted me again. My order had left just 7 minutes ago. DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY FROM MARY’s. And this isn’t my first crappy delivery situation with them either.

MUCH improved! We get delivery and they have greatly improved the to-​go containers and hired conscientious drivers. (We had problems in the past with delivery, but no more!) We’ve been getting a lot of delivery lately and had absolutely no problems. I give Mary’s 4 stars for the food and the value.
Favorite dish: Chicken Parmigiana — delicious chicken and sauce, comes with Fettucine Alfredo that is some of the best I’ve ever had. My parents like the Chicken Piccata.
Noteworthy: Cobb Salad (yummy marinated tomatoes), Mary’s Salad (w/​Italian or Vinaigrette), NY Ham Sandwich, Napoletana Pizza (REALLY good!).
Tip: Ask for bread — the best deal (Costeaux Bakery) and it comes with butter.

First off, I havent ate in the restaurant for about 15yrs, so all my info comes from delivery service and take out.
Hubby and I have tried almost everything on the menu when it comes to the pasta and salads, and have never had an issue. All have good flavor and they will work with you if you have a special request due to allergy or just dont like an ingredient, and have never messed up an order. Their pizza is okay at best. It always seems to become soggy in the middle by the time I get it, and is luke warm at best. Flavor is okay, but Ive had a lot better elsewhere.
I loved when they started doing the online ordering as we never really have cash anymore, so this made it a lot easier than reading out your card number, etc over the phone. Problem is, it constantly goes down, or when it is up, it says they accept «cash only», after you have gone through the whole process of placing your order. I have emailed about this, and each time I get the same response of their tech people were doing something and didnt put everything back to working order. Ive given up letting them know when its down.
The delivery drivers are always prompt with the time given, and always very nice. One even asked if it was okay to give my pup a dog treat he carried in his car.

Every time I visit family in Napa, Mary’s Pizza Shack is on the table. We love their pizza … And we love to dip their crust in their amazing ranch dressing.
Drink wine all day, then eat here. You won’t be disappointed.

First when I called I was asked to hold. I waited on hold for 15 minutes assuming they were busy. I then decided to hang up and call back. When I did so the lady answered the phone immediately and said that they weren’t busy and nobody was on hold tonight. I ordered a barbecue chicken pizza and garlic fries, a large order. the pizza is delicious. the bowl of plain fries with no garlic or sauce or cheese or anything is why I chose to give just 3 stars.

They might as well say «the pizza delivery guy will get there when he gets there.»
Because they say 1 ½ hours for delivery (which is the longest I ever waited for pizza) yet it doesn’t even get here in 1 ½ hours! Ridiculous. This has happened numerous times. Last time I ever order anything from here.
