Great wines, especially the secret 7 and Mcoz. Love the low key atmosphere and people. Also love that you can order (and have delivered for free) from the neighboring restaurant. Highly recommend it for a great wine tasting experience!

Abby (hope I spelled her name right!) is awesome! We’ve been here lots of times and every time she is super knowledgeable and helpful. The wine is always so consistently delicious and the new Jean Edwards wines are surprising and excellent as well.

One of my favorite places to visit in Napa!!! It’s a quiet, out of the way location. Generally not too crowded (I don’t like crowds). But, without good wine, that all wouldn’t matter. PureCru has some fantastic wines. I always start off with a glass of their Sangiovetta (Sangiovese) and move on from there. I’m mostly a red drinker so that is usually where I start. On top of all of that, Steve Sansone, their wine master is ver knowledgable and super friendly.

Love the purety wine here it was so amazingly good. The fleet one was so great. They also have a beautiful sangio vetta red which has a spicy, rich full flavor. The cardamom flavor that hits your palette is so magnificent. Definitely buying a bottle of that and coming back here for more! The foie gras pizza is out of this world. The tamarind roasted almonds are to die for. Overall, definitely five stars!
Steve was super sweet and really fun. He knew a lot about the wines and helped us decide what we should get to go with the food after we were done with our tasting. A great experience.

We really wanted to like this place but it didn’t do it for us. The tastings were expensive for the wine we got ($ 15 for three basic wines, $ 25 for three midscale wines). Based on the reviews we were anticipating something a bit more exciting and intimate. The pourer was just that — he poured us our wine. I’m not entirely sure that he enjoyed working there or that he knew much about the wines. Out of the places we’ve been I. Napa thus far, it’s the only place we wouldn’t return.

Best of the best! There were 8 of us that went in to check out PureCu. Steve took very good care of us and we ordered from a nearby Italian restaurant which went very well with the amazing wines we tasted. We all will defiantly be back and will recommend to anyone headed in the Napa direction.

Steve at pureCru is absolutely amazing! He knows his wines and is very friendly. The atmosphere is super relaxed yet sophisticated. This by far is my favorite tasting room.

I would love to give PureCru 5 stars, because I loved their wines and their very helpful and knowledgeable sommelier. Secret 7 is one of the best reds I have tried, and I highly recommend anyone visiting Napa Valley to stop into the tasting room and try it.
Now the reason for the 2 stars, I purchased 2 bottles of the Secret 7 and had the winery ship it to me. I never received a tracking number for the package and the wine was delivered and left on my front porch without requiring a signature. I am upset because my wine could have been stolen, and it was a 80+ degree day and it was on the porch for hours.
I recommend if you are tempted to buy their wine, put it in your luggage and check your bag.

Great place to taste wine in downtown Napa. Wine flights at different price points. Nice music and atmosphere. Selection of small plates. Sommelier was fun, chatty, and knowledgeable. I stopped in around noon on a Thursday with a few friends and it was a great way to start our weekend.

One of our family members is a member at this winery and decided to bring us here for a little wine tasting before dinner.
We were able to walk in a get a table right away!
The wine pourer was knowledgable and prompt. One of the owners was tasting there with some friends and offered us pizza from a nearby restaurant AND some very exclusive wine that he said they just took out of the barrel to try. It tasted amazing!
We will defiantly be back in the future!

Walked into the winery and the guy who worked there greeted us right away. We were referred to by Trahan Winery with a special 2 for 1 coupon. Got to taste 3 wines with a check in offer for the olives for free. The guy serving the wine was very knowledgable about the wine and had some good suggestions. 5 stars for this spot!

Decided to do the Downtown Napa Taste and never would have made it to pureCru. So glad we did.
Best known for their reds. The Pinot Noir is fabulous.
The atmosphere is very quaint but cozy. There is a courtyard so it’s very nice to have the option to sit inside or outside which you don’t find in downtown Napa very often.
Highly recommend checking it out!

We sat at the bar, and ordered a couple of their tastings. The service was good, but we weren’t really excited about the wines overall. The tasting with the multiple PureCoz vintages was nice, but we didn’t actually like their popular Sangiovetta. They were nice enough to let us substitute one of the wines for their Pinot Noir. Plus they had some bar bite options, including a customized cheese plate. Overall a decent stop but the wines didn’t quite hit the spot.
