We had a 12.30 teetime at Silverado and decided to try their buffet brunch at The Grill. Good options and good service. The only downside were the $ 11 mimosas. It always throws me off when I get charged an arm and a leg for a drink like this that I think should come standard with any brunch buffet. I’ll do the buffet again but I’ll stay away from the pricey drinks.

Is it possible for 1 person to be responsible for a horrible dinner experience? Waiter! We were NOT greeted by a host or hostess. Had to flag down a waiter to ask where we could sit. We had to ask 3 times for WATER…20 minutes in, we finally got some. We had to ask 4 times for a glass of wine… in Napa Food(flatbread and salad) took an hour and ten minutes to deliver… during which time we were NOT offered an explanation, nor any additional service(more wine). We were just ignored. The people at two tables near us were complaining similarly… and loudly Our waiter was a mumbling moron obviously in the wrong profession but probably making a good«minimum wage»…this is another subject not for this review. Food was ok, not bad… not good Will NOT be returning and most likely checking out of Silverado early to find better accommodations and service. One word summary — STUNNED

Went to lunch. Food, service, ambience, views, wonderful! I ordered Apollo Loco, so good!

Excellent Chef! Lovely dinner and excellent wine. The Pollo Loco was fabulous. Very grateful we were seated at round table for our party of six. Everyone raves about their entrée. Lovely staff.

Food was average at best. Had the Kobe burger which was salty. Fries were good. Wife has the fish over mashed potatoes which she stated were average… and guest had pasta with pork and veal which was also average. The best part was the Cobb Salad which at $ 14.50 was a bit steep. Service was average as well. I would recommend a different place.

Had a quick lunch at The Grill at the Silverado Resort and Spa before going to the Clos Du Val Winery for a tasting. Like other parts of this resort, The Grill is situated in a separate building a few steps from the main hotel. It also houses the Silverado Golf Course Pro Shop. In a bit of a hurry today and lunching at an odd hour, The Grill was all but deserted at the time we walked in. We ordered their flame grilled American Kobe Burger and a Traditional Turkey Club letting our server know that we were on a tight schedule and had to eat and run. The beef patty in the burger was excellent and cooked just this side of medium as we had ordered. The Turkey Club was prepared on nicely grilled Sourdough bread and exceeded our expectations. Kudos to the kitchen and waitstaff for quick and attentive service. We did a 20 minute turnaround and were off to the races for our tasting at Clos Du Val.

Since they time the bill, I know it took 23 m to get a salad to go. Are you thinking it must have been the lunch rush? No unless 1:30 is lunch hour. This is only lunch place at Silverado Resort and it’s poorly run.

Horrible service! We went there for a family dinner and oh my we were so ready to walk out. We ordered food and drinks. We arrived at 8:30 pm & left at 10 pm. Got the food really fast — it was luke warm, and our drinks didn’t come until after we finished dinner. We had to remind the waiters several times for our drinks. I would absolutely understand if it was a busy night but you could hear crickets. We saw our server maybe twice and the rest was trying to catch the bus boy. Not too happy.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Great to sit by the window, outside or at the bar. The food was also good especially the fish tacos and Kobe burger. Why therefore only 3 stars? Because of the service, especially at breakfast which was painfully slow. 35 minutes to get a yogurt parfait a juice and some coffee!!! We almost missed our tee time…

My wife and I are I our honeymoon and we are here after a long flight and a 3+ hour drive from San Francisco. First and foremost, the bar may have been slightly under staffed but it was worth it. The pollo loco and the fish tacos were absolutely amazing. The service was excellent and the wine selection was amazing. I’d highly recommend asking for Bailey. She knows the area extremely well and made many recommendations. Very attentive and professional. We would highly suggest this place for dinner regardless of if you are staying at Silverado or not.

How does this only have three stars? We’ve now had lunch(crab louie), breakfast(omelet) and dinner(Pollo loco). All of these meals were with eight other people, who ordered different menu items, and we’ve all thought the food was great. You can’t go wrong here!

What a fabulous place to dine. My work colleagues and I decided to dine here after a long day at the office and it really was the highlight of our week. We were welcomed in by the hostess and seated at our table with hardly any wait at all. Shortly after being seated we had the pleasure of having Kathrine as our server for the night. She was an absolute gem. She was friendly and informative and helped us choose a great meal for each one of us. I ended up ordering the Crab Louie salad for my starter and the Bacon wrapped Pork Tenderloin for my main. This had to have been one of the best meals I have had in years! Full of flavor, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Along with our great meals we had a bottle of Sciambra Cabernet recommended by Jessie, the very helpful and professional manager. He chatted with us for a bit and made us feel super welcomed and taken care of. The whole neighborly atmosphere and superior customer service really made our dining experience one to remember. We will definitely be coming back and telling our friends about The Grill at Silverado.

This wonderful place has a new chef. Casual vibe with reasonable prices is not reflected in the creative and delicious dishes. I recommend Pollo Loco, any homemade soup, or the gourmet fried chicken. You can’t go wrong with any of the desserts especially the seasonal crisp. Service is outstanding. Ask for Stefan his professionalism and knowledge is impresive.

Wasn’t incredible and wasn’t bad. Didn’t meet expectations though. The resort itself is beautiful and the scenery great. Service is hit or miss. Nighttime server Abe was great. Friendly and he always seemed to go out of his way for our table. Daytime bartenders not so good. She made me feel unwelcome and it wasn’t full. He must have completely forgot my request because it was a simple request and it never got done. A server, Melissa, was the highlight of the bar area crew. She never stopped smiling and never stopped moving. If the crew worked as hard as she did, this would easily be a 5 star restaurant.

Very country clubbish. Eat inside or outside and stare at the golf course. Very relaxed and casual atmosphere. Most people eating were in golf attire Had the asian chicken salad for lunch when we arrived. It was actually quite tasty, but I wish it had more noodles. 4 stars Before we left, I ordered the omelet for brunch and shared a fruit platter. I’ve had better omelets for whatever they were charging. It was a bit expensive, but I was definitely expecting that.

Prices keep going up — quality going down… My family has been eating brunch here for 10 years in an ongoing basis. However I think it’s time to find a new brunch spot. The prices keep going up and the food is getting more and more bland and downright icky. The last two time we have had brunch in the grill we have noticed that they are not nearly as busy as they have been over the years. I think the locals are going elsewhere. Hopefully the resort reads the reviews and fixes the problems.

Such a great dinner for families. Our waiter, Abe, was a gem. He offered us a cocktail, kids cups to the littles and to put their order in earlier than ours. It was so relaxing and nice to watch our kids happily choose something they liked off their well-crafted menu. Even my picky eater found something she liked and ate all of! The fried chicken was delicious, as was the pollo loco. Perfectly crisp fries for the kids were hard to resist. We finished our wine while the littles enjoyed ice creams and cookies. Thank you, Silverado, for a super night out.

It was Christmas Eve. Couldn’t make dinner reservations except The Grill at Silverado. Food: 3.5 Value: 3 And so we went. The food was pretty good, quite standard american fare. Value for money isn’t great, it’s quite pricey. The ambiance is quite country-club like, which probably means that while the food is good, the price is less so.

What happens when you wake up really early to take a hot air balloon ride and then it’s cancelled due to unstable weather? Go eat breakfast. Now Im never up that early on weekends but since we were staying here and it was like 6am, we made our way over. On the weekends it’s a buffet and they have all your usual breakfast items out. I loaded up on the breakfast meats, potatoes, and what not. with the belly nice and full we went back to sleep and made it a lazy weekend after that.

**3.5 Stars** Had lunch here one day. Ordered a cup of French Onion Soup and a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. Normally, their Caesar is served with a chilled shrimp, but I asked for it to be grilled and they complied. Overall, a decent meal — the French Onion Soup was really good, the Caesar was nothing to wow you. The place was really busy at lunch. I think they could have used a few more servers and food runners. There is also a bar in here. I sidled up to look and noticed an espresso machine behind the bar. So on my way out, I ordered an iced triple shot latte with whole milk. The bartender was getting absolutely slammed with drink orders, so I had to wait about 5 minutes or so before I could get his attention and order the latte. I think the iced latte was the best thing I had at the Grill at Silverado. It was strong and tasty!
