The Preserve Spa

This place offers a great locals special each month if you sign up for their locals club. We are always able to get an appointment when we want it. What a great experience. Their employees are professional and amazing. We have not had a bad experience here yet. Cant wait for next months special!!!

I am a Napa local and have had the opportunity to experience spa services from several of the Napa establishments. I’m not certain why I had not been to The Preserve Spa at the Marriott prior to my appointment today. I had looked into the Spa Services offered previously, however, for some reason I never made an appointment until now.
I really needed a massage today, primarily focusing on my feet and legs, and they had a service specifically for the area, the Balance Massage. I called before lunch and they were able to accommodate me the same day. I arrived a few minutes early and the two young ladies at the desk were very pleasant. It was quite refreshing. They weren’t pretentious or rude, very sweet and kind. First impression was wonderful!
Check-​in was very quick and easy, then I was given a quick tour. The women’s locker room has a Jacuzzi, sauna and showers. There is a nice waiting area with ice water and hot tea as well as an open air lounge area just outside the doors. You can order a snack or full meal from the restaurant menu or a glass of wine, which could be brought to you. Nice.
I hadn’t been waiting long when my masseuse called me, Diana. She directed me to the room for massage and explained the service I had requested and allowed me a few minutes to get ready. The Balance Massage was fantastic! Absolutely exactly what I needed after spending 13 hours on my feet. Diana checked in with me a few times throughout the 50 minute session to ask about pressure. Before I knew it, the massage was over and I was offered the opportunity to relax in the sauna or Jacuzzi, which I did. The locker room was very clean and was well stocked with basic necessities.
I will definitely return to the Preserve Spa for additional services in the future.

My review is based on two things: My wife getting massages here/​using the spa facilities, and me using the spa facilities. Spa facilities we used are the inside sitting area, locker room, showers, Jacuzzi and steam room. The spa had a special in December so the massage was reasonably priced. My wife had the 80-​minute deep tissue massage. Last week she had the 80-​minute deep tissue massage again, with the normal cost, which is $ 185. That is a lot of money, especially when you add in a 20 percent tip. So total cost for 80 minutes was $ 222. But I wanted to treat my wife, who has been working so hard lately and deserved it. Massage therapist both times was Deanna, and my wife said she does an excellent job. I used to get massages (not here, but at a reasonably priced place), but I do not get massages any more. So I just used the spa facilities and had a very relaxing time. I particularly like the steam room and relaxing in the inside sitting room. There is a fee to use the spa facilities, unless you area staying at the adjacent Marriott Hotel. The hotel charges a $ 20 per day resort fee, and that resort fee includes use of the spa between 7:30 and 10:00 am and between 4:00 and 7:00 pm. If you are getting a massage of other treatment, you can use the spa facilities any time of the day or evening.

I had the loveliest experience! I ended up having a nice, long sleep right afterwards!!! I love getting massages and going right next door to go to bed. I was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to do another spa retreat!
My boyfriend and I chose to get a couples massage ($ 120/​person for 50min). The massage was great! My masseus’s name was Stan. There was an automatic 20% gratuity and I was more than happy to provide that much tip because I had a very relaxing experience. He used the right amount of pressure and I felt like I was in heaven. I recommend to call on advanced to make an appointment. The receptionist is really nice and friendly. No need to pay up front until after your service and you can even charge it to your room.
Before that, we went to the jacuzzi and I pretty much had it all to myself. I tried the eucalyptus steam room and I think I prefer saunas more. The wetness made it hard to breathe. The women’s locker room was clean and well-​stocked. The lockers had a pin pad instead of a lock and key. This was very convenient and easy to use. There were lots of towels and all of the hair products you needed. The waiting room was great too! They provide tea, water and apples. It was nice to sit and listen to relaxing music and read magazines while we waited. Our massage was great and was over too fast. Afterwards, we just walked over to our room next door, went to dinner at the hotel, showered and went to bed. We didn’t have to get into our car! That’s my kind of relaxing night! Great way to start off the New Year!

I took my mom for a Birthday Spa Day and we can’t stop going back! We have the membership which rocks and we find reasons to go down there and enjoy pedicures (Kristin O.), facials and hair color treatments are a must and Amanda is the best!!! The serve delicious food from the restaurant either on their patio or in the lounge, have a sweet selection of gifts and salon merchandise and as a local I love being able to not wonder where I am going to get me hair, nails, eyebrows, and facials done or somewhere I can treat my friends to too! We were extremely pleased with our service and how they were able to see each of us individually, but then scheduled our pedicure together… well done! Money well spent!

What a relaxing spa experience! I had the cascade treatment which was Swedish massage and body scrub treatment. My therapist shannon was very gentle and attentive. The body scrub is amazing where they had waterfall shower going down your body after the scrub. Aaahhhh! I loved that they had jacuzzi, steam room and relaxing room with tea, coffee and you can even order some food. Area was very clean and zen. They also had a patio area where you can relax.

I’m a local and I’ve been here several times over the years. Today I had a 50 minute deep tissue massage with Cori which was amazing! She took the time to listen to what I needed and customized her massage to fit my needs. I also had 80 minute facial with Cody that was so relaxing it almost put me to sleep. She is so good at listening and knowing when you don’t want to talk, but just relax. It’s a nice Spa to spend a relaxing morning when you need it!
Plus their boutique is great I’ve bought 3 of their headbands in the last couple of months!

First off, when I called to make my appointment I had several questions and Britney told me to go to the website as if she didn’t have time to answer. Upon walking into the spa it was nice and I was greeted and When I had my pedicure that all changed. It was by far the worst! The foot file they used was grimy and dirty, as if it wasn’t cleaned after the person prior to me. It looked like it was supposed to be pink but was literally brown. GROSS! during my pedicure the level of noise increased. One manicurist stated «trudy must be here «I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you are given a gift certificate or won a treatment at an auction! Go to Silverado country club or Meritage.

A Travelzoo special offered a 50 minute Swedish massage or classic facial, pedicure, and a glass of sparkling wine at half price. Since I was staying at the Marriott next door for a meeting, this was a terrific opportunity to rejuvenate. Before the massage, I indulged in the invigorating warm waters of the whirlpool and the steam room, then waited in my comfy bathrobe in the resting lounge by the fireplace before I was called. Delfina was a first class masseuse who made sure to concentrate on my sorest back areas. After the massage, I was ushered into the spa pedicure area where Jessica gave me an excellent pedicure while I sipped sparkling wine. The spa also has a relaxing outdoor area with a fountain. Highly recommended!
