This is my go-to Thai place! We always get the pad Thai and I love that you can control the level of spiciness in every dish. The crab Rangoon’s and pot stickers are very tasty too. I usually get food to go because a friend of mine found hair underneath the glass of the table top when we went once. I’ve never had a problem with anyrhing foreign in my food(no pun intended). Their only downfall is the price vs portion size! Two of us usually spend around $ 30 – 40 for lunch and hardly ever have leftovers.

I came here years ago and had the pad see yew for the first time, which started my addiction. I’ve had pad see yew from a dozen other restuarants since then and I always meant to come back here to see if it was still as good as I remembered. It was. Probably the best I’ve had. And I’ve had a lot of pad see yew. Can’t comment on their other food because I’ve never had it. The service was pretty good though and our server was nice. It also came with a soup(lunch special). This place brought back good memories.

This may just be my new favorite Thai restaurant! That was hard for me to write because I had no favorite Thai restaurant before this. Who knew healthy Thai food can be so good? The restaurant offer both Thai and Vietnamese menus, but I haven’t gotten around to try the Vietnamese dishes. I’ve tried a few things from the Thai menu and really liked it all! Some of the dishes are really unique and fun. They use quality ingredients and I can taste the difference. The price is comparable to the other Thai restaurants in the area. Main dishes range from $ 9-$ 18. The décor is simple and pleasant. The service is nice and friendly. Parking is easy. Pad Thai — Noodles were done well and overall dish was delicious. Red Curry — Great curry flavors and filled with tons of chicken and vegetables. Tom Yum Shrimp soup — Very nicely done. The tiger shrimps were amazing. Fish fillet(catfish)with basil — Awesome! Great sauce and the vegetables were nice and crispy. Crazy Spaghetti — It was crazy good! Loaded with seafood(mussels, squid, shrimp, imitation crab) with a savory sauce.

My search for a good Thai restaurant in the burbs continues… I went in here for a late lunch on a weekday. Around 2 pm, I was the only guest in the entire restaurant. The décor is nice and simple, and considering I was the only person in the restaurant the service was decent. I ordered the red curry from their lunch menu. It was $ 8.95 and included a small bowl of chicken noodle soup. The soup was just okay, and the curry was slightly bland. For the price, I was disappointed in the size of the portions and the amount of chicken in the curry. I’m not sure if I

Whoa, thats some good stuff Boraan! Went with the SO for some takeout chicken panang curry and chicken pad thai. Both were simply delicious and quickly prepared with very friendly service. The gentleman who took our order offered chopsticks and hot sauce to-go. We were given some chilli flakes and some May Ploy(or some similar sweet chili garlic sauce). The restaurant itself seemed clean and well kept. I’ll have to be back to dine in and try the tom yum kung and see what else Boraan’s has to offer! One word of advice if you need to head south on 59: Head out the south end of the parking lot and go east toward the exit(past the few stores over toward Sizzler). The exit right in front of Boraan’s is north only and if you go straight south out of the lot you’ll be on a one-way into oncoming traffic.

This was my first visit to Boraans and I really enjoyed myself. I met a group of friends and we all ate the lunch special. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and quite. I had the basil chicken, which was outstanding. One of my friends had the pad Thai chicken, which was also very good. The portion sizes are very big and you get soup with lunch. The price for most of the lunch options is $ 8.95…even for just won ton soup… a tad bit pricey. The only minor complaint was our waitress. She was very nice, but went missing in action a couple of times. This wasn’t a huge deal, but we ended up rushing to leave because she didn’t come around for awhile. All in all, I would definitely recommend Boraan’s and I will def be revisiting!

Today was my first visit to Boraan’s. I adore Thai food so it was an easy choice for lunch in Naperville. Just a heads up, we went for lunch. The special ends at 2:30pm. I’m a sucker for details and I hope you find this review helpful. We only ordered off the lunch menu. It has plenty to choose from. If you’d like to order from the full menu, just ask your server. Each selection comes with soup. A nice touch but nothing much to write about. As for the restaurant. It’s located in a strip mall. No big deal. However, I absolutely loathe fluorescent lighting. It reminds me of a hospital or being in school. Both of which I’d rather not be faced with while eating. It was clean, but my OCD picked up on dinged up walls in the booth areas where it was dirty and in need of some elbow grease, patch work, and fresh paint. As for the server. We told her it was our first time and she really didn’t care to offer any helping tips or must orders. Oh well. My girlfriend ordered the chicken Pad Thai. I ordered the Penang Chicken. Her food came out first. Very annoying. I waited about four to five minutes. Not huge but our waitress never said anything when she brought my girlfriends food. Why not say something or just bring us our food at the same time? The food tasted very good. We plan to return despite the dreadful lighting.
