This place has a great selection of clothes for a great price. The staff here has always helped me out when needed and I have never had a negative experience.

I spent 30 minutes in the store and was never offered assistance. When I tried on clothing, I had to get dressed to go get different sizes, although there was only one other person shopping in the store at the time. When I checked out, the sweater did not ring up as being on sale and when I questioned this, I was asked to take the sales associate back to show him where it was on sale. Pretty much all sweaters were on sale, so I’m unsure about his confusion. when I finished my purchase, I was never thanked. The store was also a mess. Don’t waste your time.

Walked in to this store to purchase a pair of khaki pants and was never greeted or even acknowledged. Whomever was on shift the evening of October 7th needs to know they cost you money. I was pretty disappointed and ended up walking down to Apricot Lane and buying tons of great items! Maybe you need those ladies working at your store. My worst shopping experience since visiting Chicago.

I would also give this Gap 0(ZERO) stars if I could. First of all, let me just say that about 75−85% of my clothes come from either Gap or Old Navy. So, I am a long-time customer of the brands. However, I will NOT be patronizing this location ever again, and I encourage anyone else reading this to not waste their time either. I was recently in the area(Friday, 08÷22÷14) for lunch as my family and I were in town for a funeral. We had just spent about 21 hours in a car, and my feet, as well as my father’s feet, were pretty swollen. So, I was in the market for a pair of flip flops for him. I thought, «Oh, Gap would have them, it’s the end of summer, so they might have some on sale.» Granted, I was unshowered, and probably a little on the stinky side, having just spent almost an entire day in a car, with 5 other people. But my appearance should not have mattered. I was presentable and a POTENTIAL customer. You know, a person who exchanges MONEY for goods? Well, when I entered the store, no one greeted me. No one even acknowledged me. There were at least three people working that day(two men and at least one woman, I think) and they were more concerned about themselves and what their own clothing concerns were about than say, I don’t know, helping out the ACTUAL customer INFRONTOFTHEM? I walked around the store, looking at both the men’s and women’s sections for some appropriate footwear. Since I didn’t find any, I thought I would look around. Still, after about 10 minutes of looking, I got disgusted. NOONE asked me if I needed help. NOONE said hello to me. Even when my father, brothers, sister and nephews came in, NOONE greeted them OR asked THEM if they needed help either. When another patron came in(who was standing RIGHT behind me), SHE was greeted and asked if she needed help, as if I were INVISIBLE. Finally, we all walked out of the store, having not bought anything. I am truly disgusted with the service I received(which was NONE). Is this how Gap employees are trained? I have been shopping at Gap for at least twenty years and I have to say, I don’t think I will EVER shop in store again, which is very sad. At least if I shop online, I’ll only have to deal with a computer, and myself.

My wife and I stopped in to the store after having dinner across the street. My wife was interested in purchasing a jean jacket. There were two sales associates in the store along with my wife and I, and no one else. The sales associates were having a conversation and neglected to acknowledge our presence. My wife tried on a jacket and decided against it. After realizing we would not be acknowledged by the staff, we decided to shop elsewhere. I guess the Gap’s sales are in the stellar category as the staff can afford to not even acknowledge potential customers. In the future, we plan to shop at other stores in hopes of getting some type of service, or acknowlegement… We then proceeded to the Eddie Bauer store next door and received excellent customer service. Perhaps Eddie Bauer staff can provide customer service training to The Gap personnel!

I like this Gap location. Wayyyyy better than the Wheaton/Danada Square location. The staff is generally available and friendly-ish, the store is CLEAN and well-organized. This is my go-to Gap.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother who was pretty upset about this experience. She went to the Naperville Gap during the christmas season. She asked a female associate where she could find a certain shirt(for my sisters). Middle aged female associate replied«In the back, but we wont have it in youuuur size». Quite a rude assumption if you ask me. On top of this comment, she forgot to ring up her purchase with the in store discounts being offered. Staff needs to be trained on manners and register, or at least this woman.

I’m a pretty basic jeans-and-Ts kinda gal, so I like the Gap. This location is a convenient browsing spot if you’re spending the afternoon in downtown Naperville. The employees are generally pretty helpful and friendly, and the clothes are neatly folded and organized. I do wish they were open later, though… I think they close at 7PM on weekdays and maybe 8 on Saturdays. Which, like… what?

Hit the racks and hit them hard, sales are always good here if you don’t mind buying slave labor products. Heck, with the service you get, you can tell they cut corners everywhere for profit.

OK I shop the racks but when I need to I do get full price. I just don’t like the ladies there. They totally ignore or tell you the answer as they are walking away. But hey what do they care they still get a paycheck. I love the girls at FoxValley. They are awesome and always take time to help me and my associate(daughter) find what we need! NO Bravos for this joint!

Compared to the mall locations, a better overall store experience. The sales people expect moms with strollers, and you can get around pretty easily. More mature than most retail staff — very nice and helpful. The resale value on these clothes is pretty high, but I still go for the sales, especially for age 3 and under. I hate to spend a lot of money on things they’ll outgrow in less than a year. It bugs me that they always push the gap credit card account.
