I have eaten here twice in a week. Great specials. I first had cod stuffed with crab and tonight I had chicken Madeira. Both were delish. I got a choice of two salads, tomatoes with basil and olive oil. Love the tomatoes. Different both times. Service was good. Some new help was slow but that. Is standard. We all need to be patient. We are retired and on no time crunch. Will be back again. Here for a month.

Been here several times, usually with pleasant results. Yesterday, not so much. Arriving for a noon lunch and sitting outside on the bar/patio, it took forever for the server/bartender to bring over our drinks of tea and water(simple request, right?). When we ordered, she failed to ask us what side we wanted and, accordingly, when the meal arrived, no side was included. We requested fries and she grumpily say ‘Okay’ and headed off. We were finished with our meal as the side arrived. Continuing on a theme, it took forever for her to drop the bill off. Took even longer for her to return the credit card receipt(actually, my wife had left the restaurant and was waiting 10 minutes+ for the bill to be settled). I finally got up and cornered the waitress/bartender and asked for the credit card slip. Obviously, her tip was nil which she promptly acknowledged to all within earshot. This was our first bad experience with Chrissy’s. We’ve been here several times with great food and service. We’ll be back despite this unfortunate experience. But Chrissy’s needs to know that their daytime waitstaff, at least this person, is doing them a dis-service. She is more interested in shooting the bull with other restaurant workers at the bar than waiting on true customers. Too bad — hope not the start of a trend.
