My wife and I went for Valentines Day dinner and we’re not disappointed. Our server was very attentive and helpful with the menu. We started with a couple of appetizers, one being the grilled octopus which was excellent. Main course was one of the fresh fish entrees and I had the lamb shank which were both very good. Tiramisu for desert which was ok. My only disappointment was when we had finished, I asked the hostess to call us a cab. She went back and spoke to a manager who suggested we walk several blocks to Broadway where it would be easier for us to hail a cab. Good thing it was a nice evening but a little disappointing after enjoying a nice bottle of wine and after dinner drinks.

The grilled branzino is good, but not worth the price. Salmon was almost dry. The piezettes are woefully overpriced, miniscule, and pathetically popular. Large and adequate wine list. Some choices are clearly for show only. Overpriced. Mostly appropriate service. Underwhelming.

Over the top great. Outdoor seating was terrific. Wonderful service. Small serving sizes– extremely delicious. You really feel like you are in the IN crowd eating at this restaurant. Prices reasonable too

Wonderful lunch great atmosphere and excellent value. Mauro was the quintessential Italian. He made us feel quite welcome and he was fun to speak Italian with. The real gem was Lauren. She was sweet and professional. A real asset to this place. Truly talented and very pleasant. Can’t wait to go back. Mille grazie

Loved this little Italian restaurant! We had quick, great service! The pizza is authentic and very tasty. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Oh, and don’t leave without eating the gelato!

Would never go back! Was definitely a packed evening a few days before New Years, but had a terrible experience. I write many reviews and most are great! The wait to get a waiter, drink or food was ridiculous. I ordered the Veal Milanese which was like a charred French frie. I finally got the waiter’s attention and he asked if I would cut it. It took forever to get the knife through because the veal was so tough. He asked if he could bring me something else and honestly did not feel like waiting since the veal took forever. I told him not to worry about it, but he insisted and I asked for a simple dish of pasta. The pasta was fine, but only had a couple bites. The most annoying part was he took the veal off the bill, but added the pasta. I felt that was unacceptable and complained. He did agree to take off the pasta. The table next to me was just as frustrated with the service. They said while waiting for a table asked the bartender what is good here, and was told to order the pizza. It’s a very pricey place and would not expect pizza to be their specialty. We were with another couple who ordered dessert. They thought it was great.

I traveled a few miles to have their«Death by Chocolate», and accompanied it with a glass of Montepulciano D’Abruzzo($ 11) SO worth the trip, and Jenna behind the bar was AWESOME and had a CONSTANT smile even though she was VERY busy. I definitely will be back!

Very attentive staff with pleasant attitudes for the most part. Food very good, well-proportioned, and served quickly. Only complaint would be that the bar seems somewhat run down and can’t really compete with the other restaurants on 3rd Street. They should consider an overhaul and layout change to attract more customers. Have the grilled octopus app… you won’t regret it!

Very good food and service and outside dining option was great. Tables far enough a part didn’t feel like you were part of someone else’s group or being eavesdropped. App of bruschetta with figs and burratta were awesome and enjoyed entrees mixed seafood grille and pasta with clams. generous amounts of seafood and variety. didn’t have to hunt for clams in white in sea of pasta. well cooked and white wine/garlic /butter didn’t overpower the seafood. desert was tops — perhaps best tiramisu I’ve had. more like an individual sundae but large enough for 2; if not the whole table, to share. good location on 3d street — short walk to parking if not on street adjacent and not as congested as 5th ave.

Good upscale Italian restaurant on 3rd St in Old Naples. Pizza is that of Italy with dry crust, fresh mozzarella cheese, basil, crushed tomato sauce. Bread is served too. Wonderful cool atmosphere inside and out. Tucked away.

The wine was great along with the popcorn they serve for free. The(Caesar salad) was good. But unfortunately our main course failed. The arugula pizza with pancetta was very dry and there tenderloin was the worst tasting steak ever. What makes me want to try them again is they were so pleasant and gracious to make us happy.

Beautiful table-side presentation of a Sea Bass and generously portioned veal Parmesan specials. The food was prepared well and pricing inline or slightly lower than most. The outdoor seating options along 3rd were also very nice. We visited here twice while on vacation and found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. A definite bonus here is that the restaurant also owns the ice cream shop next door. Worth a visit for sure.

Fantastic all around dining experience. We sat outside, there was entertainment, plenty of space between tables, and the weather was perfect. Bottle of nice Italian wine for $ 42. Incredible Artichoke Caesar salad. The pizza was good, but my Grouper was probably the best piece of fish I have had in a year, absolutely wonderful. Portion sizes are fair, maybe ‘euro’ size, which is great because the desserts are a highlight. The ‘Sundaes’ are huge, sure they are $ 9+, but you won’t squawk about the price as soon as you see these masterpieces. Easily can share between 2 people, maybe 4 if you are light eaters. I’ll be back!

The employees are very very very rude in the Illy coffee shop, I’ve been in there 5 times already, just to experience a different coffee shop, the area is beautiful, and trying to find a drink I really like. The rudeness today — don’t think I am ever going back, today more rude than the past days. Wonder what’s the problem? Also a shot of espresso, shaken with ice and a little caramel syrup is 6.25! Then the barista??? told me that’s hard to make — huh?

Barbatella is one of the best restaurants in Naples. Mario & his staff are awesome and the food is always amazing. We vacation in Naples every year and make it a point to go to Barbatella multiple times during our trip. E sempre un piacere per andare a Barbatella. Grazie a Mario e tutti li ragazzi per la vostra opitalita’ Pasquale & Maria da New York

After trying to get a table at another popular place with a 2 hr wait my husband and I decided to walk down the block. We stumbled upon this great little gem! They didnt have any tables seating available so we opted for bar seats! I’m still talking about the BEST pizza ive ever had! You must try the pizza with pears, figs! The wine we ordered was amazing to, and the service just as good as the pizza! Love this place!

I really enjoy this place! I have been twice now. It’s a little more low key than some of the other surrounding restaurants in Naples/Old Naples. We started with the Calamari and Mussel apps. Both were pretty good! The Calamari was fried and served with cooked peppers. It was different but good! The mussels were very good! Served in a spicy tomato sauce with chorizo. After the apps we ordered 2 pizzas. One was Margherita with additional toppings and the other was the Diavola. Both very good! I will go back for sure!

I have to rewrite this review because honestly when I wrote it I had not met the manager Mario which was extremely attentive and yes did everything to make us happy with free desserts for the table and more.!! We did loved those desserts they were super delicious and it’s not fair to rate this restaurant only by a couple of mistake in a crazy busy night. I been wanting to rewrite this since I walked out of the restaurant and now I finally have the time. The gelatos here are amazing and the cannolis very fresh but the crème bulee was perfect so good.!! The service and the desserts deserve 5 starts, I am giving them 4 because the food didn’t work but I will defenetly be back and give it another try. Thanks so much Manager Mario the owners of this restaurant should be very appreciative of how good you take care of their business. Sincerely !!

Nice ambiance but average food with lackluster service. There are better choices for Italian dining in downtown Naples. My companion enjoyed the lasagna with peas. It looked delicious. My entrée was the homemade pappardelle pasta was small in size and bland in taste. French fries were soggy and bland. The presentation of all the dishes was decent, but I expected more from this restaurant. To make matters worse, our server Stephon was clearly overwhelmed and in training. I don’t blame Stephon as much as the restaurant staff for not assisting him more. The runner barely filled out water glasses and let the bread basket run out. Our dinner arrived before our appetizers so we had to eat in reverse course. This can be easily corrected with the right management. Sadly the owners have packed extra tables into a side space next to the gelato place next door. Avoid these tables at all costs. They are loud and next to the kitchen. I don’t expect quiet, but we could barely hear our dinner party. I won’t be back until this place improves.

Popped in for a late night drink with the boyfriend. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant has a very cool modern vibe with a high tech wine dispensary system at the bar. Most wines you have the option to order 3 or 6 ounces. The food looked great, I’ll defiantly be coming back for lunch or dinner next time!
