Amalfi Catering

Amalfi catered an event I attended this weekend. The food was boring, bland, uninspired, and everything you don’t want for a special day. They started clearing out and taking down displays/​food before guests even left. We came back to our table after dancing to find our stuff on the floor where our table used to be. All the food was served, left out for a few minutes, and then thrown away if you didn’t eat it or guard it carefully every moment. This is why I hate caterers. I understand they can’t wait all night but they should build in a buffer time from the end of the event to when they start breaking down. The candy buffet that had been set up was even ripped down by the time we left, so we didn’t even get a favor. Badly run, completely unknowledgeable staff and when I asked if they were going to recycle the bottles, the guy shrugged at me as if to say «yeah right.» Do not hire this company unless you’re so concerned about budget and they undercut the competition.

Holy mackerel! We just had our crew party catered by these fine folks and it was amazing! The owner came, the chef came, and the beautiful server came! mwe had four courses and 3 wine pairings! For appetizers we had little crab cakes and little beef wellingtons, for the first course we had squash soup, second we had arugula and goat cheese salad, our entrees were salmon or prime rib, and desser was tiramisu. This was incredibly delishous and it went flawlessly. We’ve been taken the crew out over the years and this was by far evzones favorite. I caanot believe what a fun night everyone had. So much fun! One of those nights that will go down in history! Thank you Amalfi
